The most recent time I was there was for pickup and I took my order to the car and realized my side of bread was missing. I went back and got it. First time ever trying honeygrow and I'm hooked. The restaurant itself is new and modern and I loved being able to order on a screen. I ordered two stir fries, one with brown rice, veggies, chicken, and the sweet soy sauce and the other with rice noodles, tofu, veggies, and the sesame sauce. The sweet soy sauce is absolutely delicious whereas the sesame sauce was lacking a tad in flavor. Also, I added on the "mg" seasoning to the rice bowl which I think just upped the flavor a ton. I waited about 10 minutes and the service was friendly. I also loved their soft drink choice courtesy of the brand "Maine Root"...nothing artificial there. Food was fine. I ordered a beef and noodle stir fry which was pretty good but nothing that special. It took them about 5-10 minutes to prepare my meal but the entree wasn't hot when i finally took a taste. Portion size was kind of small, considering that the prices seemed a little high for a fast food-type place where they don't wipe the tables. Besides the stir fry, i had a lemonade and a brownie. I'm not exactly sure how much the entree was but the stir fry, drink and dessert came to $19. They don't post prices on the menu board and they didn't give me a receipt with the prices on it. They did stick a receipt on my meal that listed the items I purcased (without prices) along with my first name, middle initial and last name, which they apparently took from my Visa card? But since all the orders get plopped down in one place and all the customers waiting for their food have to scramble to figure out which meal belongs to each person, I don't really want all those strangers to know that much about me. Finally got a chance to try honeygrow. I was in town for the weekend and knew I wanted to try it. I have been a fan of Minigrow so I knew this was going to be amazing. I ended up trying one of the stir fry which was Sweet Soy Five Spice and everything about it was delicious. I ended up adding some kale because I wanted the extra greens. The spice was just enough for me. My friend had the Make It grain bowl. She enjoyed it even tho they forget to pack her salad dressing! Other than that slip Our food was amazing. I've had an okay experience with honey grow. Every time I get their salads I'm pretty disappointed. Their topping portion sizes are so small. The price also adds up here and I don't think their portion size is worth it. Their stir fry is really good though so if you're gonna eat here, that's the way to go. The Greek salad on night one which was delicious and just very well made and perfectly dressed and then the spicy garlic with rice noodles on night two which I ate the entire container. Going to Honeygrow has always been a positive experience for me, but this location seemed unable to cook their food. The veggies were practically raw and the whole wheat noodles were tougher than they usually are. I was really disappointed. I ordered takeout and I was so excited because I havn't had honeygrow in a while. Everything was great at the beginning. The noodles I got tasted really good, but when I hit the bottom of the takeout box, I saw this clear plastic. Of course I found it after I ate the whole meal.. I was so disgusted. The worst part about this whole situation is that the next day I felt sick to my stomach and eventually got food poisoning. I was sick for 4 days. I couldn't eat anything. I admit at first I wasn't sure I wanted to try this. But I looked over the menu online and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm really happy I did! I had the crab stir fry, and it not only was filling but it tasted great! I decided to also order a dessert of mixed fruit and honey. I had peaches, watermelon, and strawberries with wildflower honey, coconut, and granola. It too was great! I opted for soda as my beverage because it was cheaper and the sodas are all natural. I loved it! The wait during dinner time on a Friday night was not bad, less than 10 minutes from when I ordered to when it was ready. Easy to order using the monitors. And the staff were friendly. Most of the time my order is perfect, but today I was disappointed. I ordered online to create my own salad. My salad arrived with blueberries mixed into it, which I had never asked for. I even double checked my order to confirm if maybe I accidentally clicked on blueberries, but nope. No blueberries. Not sure how they messed that up. On top of it I asked for honey-ginger dressing, but what I got was something completely different. I'm not sure if they ran out of the dressing I had chosen or what, but I was not a fan of the taste. I leave it at 3 stars because, as I said, the majority of my visits here have been perfect. When they get it right it is delicious, but when they get it wrong you realize how crazy expensive it is. Ordering from the digital kiosk wasn't too difficult, but when replacing items on a dish (such as snow peas for green beans), it took a minute before I realized you had to remove the original item or your item starts to get really big (and pricey). I went by the recommended amount under their catering menu and there was plenty of food, even had some leftovers. I placed an order tonight and had the most unprofessional experience. Not sure if the company is experiencing challenges with turnover, but the quality of customer service has declined significantly. I ordered a salad to be tossed. When my daughter brought it hone it was not tossed. I called the store and the manager was apologetic as I informed her that I was returning for my order-filled correctly. When I arrived, a worker asked how she could help and I explained. She proceeded to walk to the beginning of the prep line and dump the salad that I brought back into a bowl to toss. I asked her if she was going to make a fresh salad, as using the salad that has traveled is unsanitary. I then asked for the manager. I explained to the manager how the worker started to toss a salad that had exited the store and that's a health code violation. The worker injects herself into the conversation and became combative. I explained to the manager that I will be contacting the corporate offices because she should have been trained on how to properly handle food. The worker continued to roll her eyes, point and yell while I was speaking to the manager. The manager had to push her away and she muttered, "I'm trying real hard..." Oh really? I love spicy food so I got the sesame bowl with chicken instead of beef with the whole wheat noodles and the spicy garlic sauce. I got home and couldn't stomach more than a few bites. I've now visited this location twice since they've opened. They have only been open a couple of weeks I believe and I have to say, I was impressed. I've been to the cherry hill location a few times as well but I found the food to have more flavor at Marlton and the service to be faster and friendlier as well.
