Great location and they offer a lot of necessities for sale. We ate at the deli but would not recommend it if you have time to go somewhere else. We had to wait at least 20 minutes for our ham sandwich and fried chicken. The ham and chicken both were extremely salty and not of good quality for the price. Super cool place. You can get various souvenirs, basic necessities, and also full meals including teriyaki or fried chicken and bubble teas! Conveniently located next to Kapalua Ziplines, we are here for lunch before our check in time. We both had the teriyaki chicken which comes with white rice and mixed vegetables. They have many drinks in the fridges to choose from or a bubble tea/ iced tea. The only downside was that the restrooms are outside and the women's room did not have any soap. 4.5+. my husband and I shared the Tuesday prime rib special plate. We had mashed potatoes and Mac salad along with it. We've been here for more than a week and this BY FAR was the best meal we've had. The prime rib steak was 10 oz and the entire plate was enough for my husband and I to share. The prime rib was a melt in your mouth kinda moment. It came with a side of au jus that was also incredible. This plate was $19. If this was served in a fancy restaurant it would have easily been double or triple the price. Hands down the best meal on Maui so far! read more

I'm a little torn on this one. Day one was excellent and would have been a five star but day two was disappointing and would have given a three. Day one the person who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Went with the ultimate hash browns and they were quite good. Day two the person taking the order was nice enough but the person ringing us up at the coffee bar was less than pleasant. Ordered the banana pancakes and they were still raw dough in the middle. I know while I was shopping and looking around waiting for my food, when I went back up the lady looked shocked that I was still waiting. The food lacked flavor and we had to douse the eggs and potatoes with Tabasco and ketchup. This little shop is great for picking up last minute essentials, and priced lower than the ritz. Omg after a few days in Maui stumbled across this store during a walk and bought a few things. Mayan coconut milk late, the Hawaiian chicken lunch that came with macaroni salad. All over the island, mediocre food seems to be elevated both in price and perceived quality because they're served against the backdrop of a breathtaking view. At Honolua, the only view worth paying attention to is their menu board full of reasonably priced plate lunches mostly under 10$. Take a break from the mediocrity and pay a visit. This store is located within a "resort" area surrounded by golf courses. It is a wonderful surprise. Same ABC store you can find in other places but with a great deli. The cooked food is very reasonable price and great quality even compare to a lot of restaurants out there. This a neat little spot in Kapalua village. They have an amazing collection of goodies, sandwiches, salads, fresh fruits and candies. They get busy around 11 AM, but they have two outside eating areas. We had the Swiss mushroom burger with grilled onions, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato on a tasty brioche bun. This store is awesome! We're here in Maui for our wedding and honeymoon. We bought groceries from here for the villa we're staying in and it's been our go to place while on the island. We went for breakfast over the weekend and it was awesome! I had the Kim chee fried rice and it was sooooo good! My fiancé now husband had their ham breakfast sandwich he said it was really good too. I tried a mocha and quickly became addicted. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but know great coffee when I taste it. This is the best coffee I've ever tasted. I am so glad Honolua Store was a short walk from the Ritz Carlton. I'd say that the Honolua Store really saved our wallets from spending so much money on food!! We ate there almost every day! Some of my favorite things to get from the deli were the chicken katsu musubi, spam musubi, cajun shrimp plate, kalua pork/chicken katsu loco mocos, and the orange chicken. Otherwise you really can't go wrong with anything. In addition, the portions are HUGE. I couldn't finish one bento by myself, and I always had to share with someone else. They were about $7-$12 per plate, which is really a steal! As an ABC store, it really has everything else to groceries to earrings to souvenirs. I really enjoyed their papaya too. It really is different from the mainland. And as for the souvenirs, they're also really cute! I bought a few earrings and flower hair ties that were really cute. Also got the chocolate covered macadamia nuts and some flip flops. Keep your receipts because if you spend $100 here, you get a free gift (mug, calendar, etc). They were all delicious, but would especially recommend the ube pancakes, as it was very light and fluffy without being too sweet. BREAKFAST By looking at this place from the outside, or even from the inside, I was skeptical of Honolua Store being worthy of my top breakfast list. However, this hidden gem exceeded all expectations. Basically, this is an ABC store, so you have convenience items and souvenirs. However, they also have many fresh foods, along with great breakfast items at an extremely low price. One of the best parts about this place is that most breakfast items take only about ten minutes to make, which allows you a little time to browse the rest of their store, and perhaps order a fresh smoothie. The first time I went, I was running a few minutes late for their 10:30 am cutoff for breakfast, so I called to see if there is any way they could allow me to order if I arrived five minutes late. They were very kind and offered to let me place my order over the phone to secure my order. I passed. When I arrived, I learned they were strict about their deadline, but they do have a limited breakfast menu which extends until 5 pm. I ordered the Ultimate Hashbrown Breakfast ($7.99), and it was excellent for the price. However, I decided to return again soon before 10:30 to give a more accurate review of their breakfast offerings. On my second visit, I ordered two items; Biscuits and Gravy with Eggs ($8.99), as well as their Honolua Eggs Benedict ($8.49). The Biscuits and Gravy was amazing and I will definitely order again. I was honestly disappointed in their Eggs Benedict. While their portion size of ham was generous, the plate as a whole was too salty. This says a lot because I tend to prefer things on the salty side. It was nice that for both dishes, they provided me a choice of either rice or hash browns. I also tried their Peanut Butter Blast Smoothie ($5.99) and it was pretty amazing and I highly recommend. My buddy ordered the Kim Chee Fried Rice and Eggs ($8.99), and he enjoyed it. You don't come here for amazing views or elite food. However, if you want great food at crazy low prices for Maui, as well as a place you can order your food and finish eating within 30 minutes, then this is a perfect place. Kama'aina discount is not offered, but no need as they are already cheaper than one could expect. Breakfast hours run daily form 6 am until 10:30 am, with a limited breakfast menu running until 5 pm. I recommend stocking up your room if you are staying near by. We came for lunch. They have a huge selection in their deli and everything looked good. I got the chicken Kastu plate with 2 scoops of Mac salad and no rice. The katsu was great and a healthy portion. The Mac salad was good and not loaded with mayo. My plate lunch was under $9, that would have been north of $30 at the Ritz. We grabbed some supplies for the room on the way out. They had multiple chocolate covered macadamia nut options.
