Really good place for gyoza. Get the gyoza. Came here for lunch and got their version of loco moco, gyoza and soup dumplings. Everything was good but the gyoza was the star. The dipping sauce was excellent too! The waitress was amazing. She was by herself but handling a packed restaurant with ease. The only thing that would have made it better was if the restrooms weren't backed up and stinking up Stix but not their fault. Place is a must try if you like gyoza.

This restaurant is part of the STIX Asia food hall inside the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. Sharing space with many other Asian restaurants, this place specializes in Taiwanese cuisine (e.g., beef noodle soup). We got immediately seated, and there was only one other group eating here. I got the neo loco moco ($14.85), which was basically Taiwanese minced pork over rice and a tea egg. The pork had a nice mix of sweet and savory flavors, definitely reminiscent of Taiwanese cuisine I've eaten in the past. We were hungry, so we finished our meals quickly. The portion size was also a little small, but it was tasty overall. The food hall resembles ones that I've seen while traveling in Japan. Many of the restaurants here also serve Japanese cuisine (e.g., ramen, katsu, and sushi). Located in the heart of Waikiki, it's a convenient place to try many different types of food. However, on a side note, we also noticed that the restaurant next to us had a bug zapper. Occasionally, we did hear some loud zaps. There were some gnats that congregated on our table too. While the gnats posed a minor nuisance, they were still noticeable.

Really tender beef and flavorful beef broth. Altogether a nice find, as there are not many Taiwanese restaurants in the area that I've seen. Really hit the spot!

Classic comfort Chinese food with Hawaiian names. I was honestly a bit confused by the branding of the restaurant and their item names when I first got to the end of the food hall, but they probably know their market better than I, and all I needed to see was minced pork over rice (the Neo loco moco) and I knew it was going to be a good spot for food. All the comforting classics are here: minced pork over rice, sesame noodles (don't forget to mix in the sauce), fried tofu, wonton soup, hot and sour soup, fried rice, you name it, they have it (kidding, obviously - they may not have it if it's not on their menu). Though, I will say that the pork chop was a bit disappointing, as it lacked flavor compared to everything else. Basically everything is good here, you just have to sit down and hope you get service (when it's busy and full, it can feel understaffed).

With so many enticing eateries inside of the Stix Asia food hall, there was no shortage of options for us to choose from as we tried to decide on what to eat for a late lunch. Ramen, udon, sushi, katsu, pho...nearly everything piqued our curiosity! However, after coming across Honolulu Noodle & Co. and checking out their menu, we knew almost immediately we'd end up here. Even though nothing about the look of this place stood out (no offense), the prospect of some potentially delicious Taiwanese food was too strong too resist! Now, perhaps it's because they're kind of tucked away in a corner, but one of the first things we noticed about Honolulu Noodle Co. was that it was one of the quieter restaurants around here. A potential red flag to some, but it actually appealed but it actually appealed to us since we just wanted to grab a quick and quiet bite. As for the menu, it's not particularly extensive, but it has an interesting mix of dishes. Most are noodle soups, including several varieties of their beef noodle soup and about a half dozen types of dry noodles, but they also have a slate of appetizers, sides, rice plates, and even some combos to offer. -- NEO LOCO MOCO...$14.85 Pretty unique, as our server described it as a cross between a Lu Rou Fan and a Loco Moco. Thankfully, this was pretty good, too. The pork belly wasn't super fatty and had a nice richness to it. That said, I wish this had more pork belly and way more sauce (there was hardly any). -- (#A2) BEEF & TENDON NOODLE SOUP...$24.85 Not the best I've had, but solid. The chunks of beef were mostly tender, the tendon was soft, and the ratio between the two was balanced. I liked the bite on the noodles as well, but my favorite part was the broth, which was beefy and a decent body to it. Beyond the food, service here wasn't too shabby either. The worker who took our order was really friendly and the kitchen got our order out fairly quick. That being said, as several other Yelpers have already mentioned, I'd be remiss not to acknowledge that the Beef Noodle Soup is a splurge. In fairness, I wouldn't say it's overpriced, as I have no idea what the restaurant's economics are, and it's Waikiki, but it's, objectively, more expensive than ones others I've had in the Bay Area and SoCal, which are also pricey regions. All together, while what we tried wasn't quite as flavorful as what we've had back home, we were still pretty happy to discover some decent Taiwanese food in Waikiki. At the very least, Honolulu Noodle Co. was a change of pace from all of the Hawaiian and Japanese food we'd been having (not that I don't love either). However, while I'd be more than open to coming back, between how nothing overwhelmed us and all of the places I still have bookmarked to try, I can't say I'd make a point of it. THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded down.

Beef noodle soup - The soup was good. And probably one of the best in Honolulu. But compared to the best beef noodle soup in Taiwan or some parts of world, it's not top notch. Popcorn chicken - The batter is very good. This one is legit. Fried rice - I think they should not use shrimp but if they do, they should seared it better with garlic. It looks like plain cooked shrimp. Lack of delectable looks and taste.

I have been to Taipei and have been dining in real Taiwanese restaurants all over Boston Chinatown n Little Saigon so IMHO this restaurant is not authentic Taiwanese cuisine. I ordered a small bowl of Taiwanese beef noodles $17, the full size would be about $24. I was shocked it came out watery n totally bland I had to ask for soy sauce n Siracha, the server gave me some strange looking condiments, he had such a thick accent I had no idea what he was talking about so I didn't use the yellow stuff, the white pickle tasted ok. It was a waste of money I should have had pho next door.

Was in love with hand pulled beef noodles and xlb from Bay Area so was on a quest to find the same here - taste/broth of xlb was good but ginger was not served with it- beef was tender n flavorful and noodles were of a good texture but broth lacked charm - oh well disc for Kamaaina and also better than being noodle less!

We were doing a short staycation in Waikiki and wanted to try something different. Honolulu Noodle & Co. is located in Stix Asia, in the back. This place is good!!! It's different from most other noodle restaurants, which are usually ramen or pho. The staff was awesome and made great suggestions. We got the beef noodle and popcorn chicken. The beef broth was perfect and the noodle (homemade) were very nice and chewy. The popcorn chicken was super crispy but tender and moist inside. We would come back here and would like to try their dry noodle and potstickers next time.

Menu is limited. Waiter kept pushing like he was trying to up sell. He kept looking around the restaurant. There is only a small wonton soup bowl. So I asked if it was only soup or did it come with noodles. If you want noodles it is an add on for $6. Then my order got mixed up and it arrived without noodles. The noodles was unusual. More like emein instead of the thinner noodles that normally come with wonton. At least they give a choice of broth. I got the vegetable broth instead of beer. It was tasty. The 2nd waiter who brought my food was much nicer and corrected my order immediately.

Honolulu Noodle Company is tucked away in the very back of the Asian food hall in Waikiki. Getting there feels like wandering through a subway mall station in Japan. I love that walk almost as much as the gyoza. First bite had that satisfying crunch, then juicy pork. Zero soggy bottoms. Beautiful presentation. Delicious! It was fun to read the cute letters kids had sent that they displayed near the ingredient window glass too.

In the basement of a shopping center lies this food court, with this amazing little noodle shop. The Beef tendon noodle soup was just amazing. They also have Tipsy Boba, which is just a spiked boba... it's a great idea. Happy to come visit again next time I come to Hawaii.
