Once I signed up, they were able to send someone within a few days. Their service technician Brad showed up right at the start of the 2 hour window and he was truly courteous and professional. He told us which products he was using and how they worked, and gave us a fact sheet as well as some pre-baited traps to use if we saw more ant activity inside the home. He also removed wasp nests and even filled a small hole in the crawlspace vent on the exterior of our house, which I feel was really going above and beyond. After the service was complete, I got an email with all of the details of what was applied and where, which I think is an excellent practice. It's only been a few weeks since the first treatment, but the number of ants inside our home went down pretty quickly and lately we haven't see any at all. I do understand we may see more as the ants move through their life cycle, but I'm really pleased with the results so far.

We started on a quarterly service since that time. I can't tell you how pleased we have been with Josh and his crew since then. Josh is incredibly responsive. His actions prove he cares for a job well done. For example, as I type this review, he just left our home (on a Saturday morning after me texting him yesterday morning) to provide a different treatment type. We are in a persistent battle with some very stubborn ants that continue showing up in unexpected places. Most recently, they've been streaming out of the outlets in our bathroom. Be warned, this company sets up the traps on the yard.. Which leads to me believe, their goal is to catch any animal living near by on your property. .. to maximize their revenue potential. They charge based on the total number of trips made returned to remove the trapped animals. So their revenue potential is endless if you live in an area with lot of animals. Plus they only use 3 traps. They could easily use 5 or 6 traps since their traps aren't that big and heavy since they are plastic. But since the revenue potential is in removing the trapped animals, they only use 3 to be able to make more return trips .

I initially called them to ask to get on a quarterly contract to take care of my persistent ant problem. They told me that quarterly spraying wasn't necessary but the big companies love to sign you up for those. Just a once yearly spray is all you need. MAJOR points in my book that they are looking to save me money and provide great recommendations. Now I call them once per year, they spray at the optimal time to take care of the issue, and I forget about the pests for another year. This year I called too early and they actually told me to wait because spraying then would have been a waste. I just had the spray done this week and within a few hours I was already seeing dead bugs around my house. I highly recommend Affordable Pest Control!
