They have a music box where you can pay a little for a whole lot of music and fun. You can see that it has frequent visitors by their conversation and comfortable manner. But when CMI announced a show I had to be there. And lemme tell ya. This place is awesome. Located on a section of Pomona with numerous clubs and bars Characters sticks out as it's on the end and the sign is easy to see. There's ample parking and if there's nothing in the lot, the streets have plenty available. Security was cool with no hassle. As I walked in I was expecting a greasy dive bar with sticky floors and garbage lighting. No! Total opposite. Very clean and the crowd was cool. Pool tables were pushed to the side and the stage was nice and high. Sound was phenomenal and of course the bands were awesome. It's 21+ so keep that in mind if you're interested in an upcoming show. Characters was the total opposite of what I was expecting. At least indoors it's a great place to see a show. It checks all the boxes for what I'm looking for and I'd go back 100%.
