What happened during covid? We stopped for the first time today in 14 months. This is suppose to be a corporate location? 15 people in here tops when we went in. Five staff out back vaping and 3 waitresses vaping on the patio. Ordered but the menu changed and they got rid of quite a few items as a test per our waitress. What? Ordered a beer with tomato juice and olives. Beer showed up with a teaspoon of tomato juice and two olives still on a spear floating at the bottom. Wtf is that. We were done an waiting for the waitress when she came and waited on the table next to us so I expected for her to just grab my card etc. nope she put in the neighbors order then grabbed HER food and went to to pos to eat. Wow what an experience and mind you I never seen a manager in the place at any time. Great experience in why it doesn't take but a little time for something to really fall apart quickly. We came in here for lunch, and the place was pact. I've never been to a Hooters before, only because I was told they serve crappy food. When I got there the place was very clean. I had the fish and chips and it was very good. I got a healthy portion also. Our waitress was so nice, These girls work their butts off here. I liked the food and so did every one else. What was cool and strange was that folks brought their little children with them. So I guess its a kid friendly place. read more

When you go to a Hooters you expect the same thing and normally get it. The staff here is extremely helpful. I came in on a night when Rousey was fighting and they were PACKED! Would leave negative stars if I could, Jarred the manager is a smart ass. Was told it would be a 45 minute wait, asked if we could sit in the bar area. Was met with "what would you like me to do darling" and while I realize we are at hooters, the full blown sexist and condescending remark was unnecessary and uncalled for. I truly feel for the young ladies that work there, if he speaks to a customer that way, imagine how he speaks to the employees. I asked with all the empty tables, should we stand and stare? he became ruder and more aggressive. He should in no capacity be a manager, let alone work in customer service. EVER. Headed to Quaker Steak, seated right away by a friendly young man, and will likely have a far superior meal. Hopefully corporate for hooters likes making money, and decides to remove him from the establishment, even the waitress as we were leaving was not surprised by the way he treated us. read more

Don't go here. Place wasn't even busy (maybe 20 people and took way to long to serve us. If u want to get leaked on while you wait for 30+ minutes to be seated then go here. By the time we got seated (a second time by the way and we still got leaked on at the second table) the people who arrived after us had gotten their food. Also the waitress told us they can't switch tables because they don't "use" certain tables. Not to mention we had to clean our own table when they finally moved us. We also went through 3 waitresses, the first one ignored us, the second one passed us over because we asked for a new table, and the third one took way too long to ask us what we want to drink. Staff was occupied talking to each other and checking their phones, oh and apparently washing hands wasn't part of their training. I generally try to hit up every Hooters that I can whenever I take a road trip, or travel for business. I grew up on the hot wings and curly fries and always look forward to indulging. This stop however, the server took my order verbally, didn't write anything down and of course it was messed up. I really have gotten used to the way I like my food at Hooters. The steamed shrimp came out at the same time as the wings even tough it was ordered as an appetizer, but the server forgot to put in the order for curly fries which are a must have with the wings. I also ordered a side of hot sauce, and an additional side of melted butter, both of which were left off the order. When the fries finally arrived, they were definitely overcooked. I tried to get Whitney's attention several times, but she was too busy talking with a couple who appeared to be her regulars. Also, I never did receive the extra plate that you put the bones on from the wings, or any wet naps either. I actually had to get the attention of the hostess and ask her if she would please be so kind as to bring me some wet naps. The wings were good, very tasty... however the service was less than stellar. This location definitely does not stand up to all the others I have been to over the past 20 something years. Also, the bartender for the evening was playing with her hair the entire time, I didn't see her wash her hands once, and she kept putting her foot up on bar the counter. Tried the 3 mile which should be the hottest in their menu but it wasn't at all if you want real spicy hot wings don't go to this place

Pretty slow service there's 10 waitresses and 7 tables, my husband and I went in sat down in the bar area and no one welcomed us to the point a family of 3 walked in about 5 minutes later and they were greeted by a gentleman and he sat them with menus we actually got up walked back to the door to be greeted not seeing the please wait to be seated, that's when we were finally recognized and assigned our server I'm not sure if that was the kick off to slow service but it took a while to get a beer and when dinner time came around it got so smoky with fryer residue I could feel it on my skin and my clothes needed washed after my visit the smell was equally as bad as a smoke filled casino with poor ventilation, if you love smelling like fried chicken eating trendy pre packaged food this is for you if not I'd say mosey along. The only reason I gave it two stars is because our waitress was pretty cool and it's not her fault the service was slow she had to wait for the bartender to put our beers out before she could bring them and by then they weren't that cold. read more

Of course Hooters is more of an entertainment establishment and they serve all of the domestic beers, even Corona but for the night I headed over to The Salty Dog for some real chicken wings. A fellow co-worker decided to have a late lunch. He said, "Hooters?" I said "Why not." We were seated pretty fast, server was friendly. After we got our drinks though, we were left while she was talking to customers that were drinking beer. My fried chicken sandwich was still soaked with hot oil. Burned my tongue on that, thanks. I ate at this "Hooters" in Council Bluffs, IA on 5/5/2012. It was my first time there. I had never been in a "Hooters" before and was pleasantly surprised. I sat at the bar and watched the 2012 Kentucky Derby on T.V. The girls were all attractive (no surprise there) but what did surprise me was how good the food was. 10 boneless wings were $8.99 and a cheese quesadilla was just $6.99. I thought that the bar girl did an especially good job. This "Hooters" is also close to the Mid-America Center where many events are held. read more

I wish i could let you know how good the food was or even how friendly the staff was. However, the TWO times that i was sat by a host. I didn't get the chance to try the food because we sat for over 30 mins without a single person coming up to us. We were going to say something but decided to wait and see how long it would actually take for somebody to come up. Needless to say, after 30 mins we got up and took our business elsewhere. A few weeks later i received a gift card to Hooters. We went back thinking we would have to have better luck than before. Nope. We got sat, this time after 20 mins we left and i gave the gift card to a random table on our way out. Both times it wasn't busy and we noticed servers standing around talking to each other the entire time. Very disappointed in this place. read more

We visited on a Saturday night. I was dubious about taking my children in, but the place was family friendly. We were seated promptly and the waitresses were all kind as we walked through. The food was good. We ordered the bacon wrapped wings, shrimp, kid's cheeseburger and my husband got a great hamburger sandwich with wing sauce, bacon and onion. It was delicious. The prices were ok. The manager stopped by to make sure things were going well. We did have to wait a bit to get our bill and change, but it wasn't serious. We'd visit again if we ever got the chance. read more

I signed up for Yelp just to write this review, and I'm pretty much new to writing reviews, so I'm sorry if this is all over the place. I visited this location with my aunt on January 21, the night before writing this review. We had only been there once years before and thought it was delicious back then, so we figured, what the heck! After a very short wait, we were seated (right by the front door...), but we ended up waiting nearly ten minutes to get menus. I should mention right now that it was NOT busy at all. After a few minutes, our waitress came to our table to get our order. For the appetizer, we got the deep fried pickles, and my aunt ordered a salad. The pickles were done in a decent amount of time, and they were absolutely delicious! But my aunts' salad never came, but she said she wasn't too torn up about it since she was able to snack on the pickles. She just didn't want them to charge us for it. We waited around twenty minutes for our food (I ordered the boneless wings with barbecue sauce and side of curly fries w/ cheese, and my aunt ordered the Daytona beach style wings), so considering the order, we didn't feel like we had waited very long, and at this time my aunt let the waitress know she never got the salad, and didn't want to be charged for it. Everything was SO GOOD!! We were pretty much stuffing our faces haha. The waitress stopped by once to ask how everything was Then we decided we were done, and waited for our waitress to come around to get take home boxes and our bill. We waited, altogether, 35 MINUTES!!! JUST to even get a glimpse of our waitress to get our bill!! During these thirty minutes, my aunt asked the waitress that seated us to find ours, and she apologized and said that our waitress was 'having a rough night', and that she would try to find her. Finally, our bill came, and she charged us for the salad. We got it corrected, and despite the major annoyances of the evening, we left her with an 8 dollar tip, which I honestly now regret. We were considerably annoyed by the waiting time. My aunt is in her early fifties, and often eats out at many places with friends, and she said she had never experienced service like that before. I agreed. I try to be understanding and patient with people, especially employees of any place if they're just doing their job and being polite. Everyone has off days, myself included! But to wait that long, just to get your bill, when the restaurant isn't very busy at all, is honestly just ridiculous. Like I said, the food was absolutely wonderful. Not sure if it really was just an off day for our waitress, but after reading some of the other reviews, seems like this isn't uncommon here.... I have tried to visit twice in the last week. The first time I visited a friend and I waited at a table for 20-25 minutes with numerous servers passing by us and managers and no one seemed to greet us or get drinks so we finally left. No excuses as it was hardly even busy!! The next time we tried to visit around 7pm for dinner for AYCE wings and was advised they were all out of traditional wings!! Worst experience I've EVER had in my life... What looked to be the manager was in the kitchen all day(dark haired slicked back, older guy). When I asked for him he never came out to speak with me. While I was sitting at the bar, I saw him yell at several hooters girls. Also, he was throwing around dishes and I could hear them slamming as he was in the kitchen. If he wasn't the manager, where is the real one? I just cant believe this place hasn't been shut down already. I got my food after over a hour and it looked to be a pubic hair in my burger sliders. I would've talked to a manager but seems that the manager was too busy using his time to yell at a hooters girl instead. If I could give this place a 0 star I would. This place is so disgusting. Great wings. Great ladies. Quick and Friendly Service. Great prices. Good location. Does it get any better?

We took my son here today for his 19th Birthday. The staff was fantastic, service was great and the food out of this world. The Philly Steak was awesome. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, our 16 and 14 year old boys had a blast too. My wife said the Mushroom / Swiss Burger is one of the best she has ever had. Our "picky" 14 year old son said his "build your own" burger was rockin, out of this world. LOL...... Thank you Hooters for making my son's Birthday a day to remember. read more

Went into grab a bite before a concert. Service was slow at best and we received only half of what we ordered in the hour and a half we were there. They were completely under staffed for being right next door to a concert venue on the night of a concert. Our waitress stated that they had no clue that there was to be a concert that night. We knew about 4 months prior when we purchased our tickets. Apparently, they do not know about the internet. Our waitress asked if she could have my name and number for the manager to call and apologies. That was three weeks ago and still no call. Today you lost 2 longtime Hooters customers. We come to expect uniformity. In The case of the council bluffs location it is hit or miss. After placing an order of ORIGINAL wings and discussing with the waitress failures in the past (only at that location) the food was delivered. What was presented was fried chicken with hot sauce poured all over the top. We've come to expect better but seem to get the same crap at this location. We informed the waitress these are not what we wanted and she brought the manager over. The manager proceeded to argue with us about what we were served. I've had original wings from Hooters in many states, and what they served was not original. She was so adamant and rude we decided we weren't eating those wings even after she was going to comp the bill (all while bitching loudly). So CB Hooters, that woman cost you customers.
