Bad service! Our waitress literally forgot about us, I do realize that it was full house. But she kept on forgetting to bring us things! We are in the industry too and was trying to be nice and be understanding. First off, she sent out a cold queso that was barely half full, it took forever to get her attention to take back the queso back. When she finally came , she said it's because they were running out of queso?? Well then we would rather not have it , don't drop off a barely half full queso/food. Two of those times we left because of very bad service, meh food and not a clue about mixed drinks (I only asked for a 7&7 and they brought out a 7&? in a shot glass and this last time (tonight) the waitress looked at me like I had 3 eyeballs and told me we don't have that. Seriously. My son ordered a Jack and diet. Waited forever and she finally showed up and said um... We don't have that. He asked her how do you not have Jack and Diet Coke?! Her reply? "Oh! Our experience on the specific occasion was by far the worst experience we have ever had at a Hooters restaurant. All started out good, we arrived expecting to wait and the hostess told us 45+ minute wait. So we sat at the bar and waited on our table, but it only took 20 minutes which we thought a good sign. It wasn't, this is where the trouble begins. Once we were seated, we had to ask the waitress 3 times for a high chair after we had asked the hostess for one also. Finally by the third time asking she I guess had time to look for one. Didn't seem like she was busy, saw her standing around a lot. We order drinks, an appetizer and also the kids food, getting it early gives them longer to eat. After about 20 minutes I had to ask for the appetizer, she said oh yeah let me check. Finally came out. We then ordered our food. Another 10 minutes went by and I had to ask for the kids food, again I ordered with the appetizer, her response was oh yeah let me check. Didn't think it took over 45 minutes to get an order of fries and a kids chicken strip meal, well it did on this visit. We sat waiting for our meal, this was over an hour later and still no food. I had to ask her again about our food, and again I got "oh yeah let me check". Is this part of the training?? This whole time we were waiting we never received a single refill of our drinks except for myself, I did get a bar drink but only after flagging her down and asking if it was ok to get another drink. When the food finally came out it wasn't at the same time. I got my wings my wife got her shrimp salad, but the other 2 guests at the table still had to wait. Another 10 minutes or so and theirs finally came out. The only good thing was the quality of the food, best I've had at a Hooters in a long time. Our whole table had the same thing to say, great food. Service and wait time were the main issues. Several tables around us were having the same issues and some started asking for the manager. He finally showed up and I flagged him down to let him know of the issues, he said he was at the Mesquite location and just got back. I informed him of the service, the wait time and especially the NO refills of drinks for the table. He apologized and gave the normal manager excuse and said he has talked to the corporate office already about some help. He offered to get us To-go drinks which was great, except for the fact that he didn't deliver either. We waited around and he finally showed back up, I asked about our drinks and he said he asked someone else to get them. I can understand some waitress messing up but the manager is inexcusable. This explains the waitress' mistakes, the manager must have trained her. The worst part was while talking to him about him forgetting our drinks, he just walks away mid sentence. At this point the waitress finally brings our check and she asks us for to go drinks also, we said sure. She messed up on splitting the check and didn't bring our drinks either, go figure she mess something else up. It wasn't until we were walking out the door she asked about our drinks, of course she still did not have them. I just said thank you and walked out. Will we return?? Not to this location and will definitely question returning to any Hooters again. Which is sad because I enjoy the food, the atmosphere, it's a place I like to go for dinner, watch the game, or meet up with friends. read more

Had to flag her down to get refills. Had to ask twice for napkins, she tore off a strand paper towels, while the table next to us received napkins. Everyone's food arrived, but never received fries. The table next to us, that came after us, received food with fries. Had to cancel orders, everyone had ate while still waiting on fries. Spoke with what we thought was a manager (we have doubts), never checked on us again. Not once did anyone express any concern or apology. We are in Covid-19 restrictions, so only partial occupancy is allowed. No excuse for bad service. After being open a few months this place finally got things together. I always get my food and drinks quickly and correct. The staff is very friendly. Even though I sit at one of the two bars I have gotten to know some of the waitstaff. This is a great place to go to after work or to have a few drinks before a game. There's a great selection of beer, I choose the local stuff. The patio bar is fantastic if it isn't too windy. If you've been here before but had bad service, I suggest you go back and try it again. My girlfriend and I are regulars here and the last two times we've been here we have had the worst service...our waitress Friday night was Faith and today it was Megan. Both made us wait unusually long times which is strange.
