I guess I'm just a slow learner. One more time I went to Hooters in Garland, and one more time I was disappointed! The service was okay, nothing too bad or too good. Ordered drinks took a little while to get there but were cold and correct. Ordered food took WAY to long to get there and when it did only 3 of the 4 orderd came out. The one sandwich was hot, EVERYTHING else was cold. Brought out new fries right away, not much better. The remaining item came out was also poor quality. Horrible service. This place deserves zero stars. All the waitresses were standoffish and didn't want to be there. We waited almost ten minutes before someone came and got our order. They didn't have the drink we wanted and no salt to go with our drinks. After we were served our waitress was MIA for almost 45 minutes. The other waitresses made a point of avoiding eye contact and ignoring us. The place was slow and all the waitresses seemed bored and put out. I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Well, maybe i just keep getting served by the A-crew or something but we've had very few problems with service. Or are we just this laid back? When I've been there's an older manager dude iwth glasses who is very nice and always checks and sees how things are going. He's been super cool both times we've met. We were there for a few hours yesterday and had a great time. Sydney was our waitress and everything was great. I branched out and tried a couple of new things- have you ever had the Buffalo Shrimp? Customer service needs to improve, food was cold but 1 star for the cold beer. -Reheated the cold fries in the fryer and they are so hard! :-( -had to ask for menu then had to ask for silverware.. :-( Follow up: Jan 2019 Hostess was very pleasant and outgoing. Standard fair when it comes to food. We don't frequent this place often unless we are craving their specific wing flavor (about twice a year). My husband and I decided to visit on a Friday at about 9 p.m. There was not a huge crowd and we got seated upon entering. The waitress introduced herself and took our order in a timely manner. This is when the wait began. 30 minutes later, we still hadn't received our appetizer. We flagged her down and brought it to her attention. 10 minutes later, still nothing. She came by and said she was going to investigate the order and gave a brief excuse about kitchen staff being new and understaffed. Shortly after, the manager came over and apologized for the delay and said the beer was on "him" and pretty much said goodbye. He did reiterate the kitchen staff problem but offered no other solution for us other than to wave us off. That last part is the difference between customer service and a great place - to which this Hooters had none of it, at least in this particular visit. read more

Ordered a beer for my wife and the glass was chipped. No big deal really we just sent it back for another. Oh and the waitress poured the beer. When she returned she brought back a full glass of beer the glass it was not chipped. She took a drink and a friend with us noticed something in the glass and it was a chunk of glass 2" x 2" Unbelievable this would happen. OK so this is based on it being open for a couple of weeks now. Wait was 45min. Ambiance was nice, lots of tvs ect.. problem starts from the moment we were seated the table wasn't really wiped down just wiped over with a paper towel. The floor still had chicken bones which I cleverly covered up with a paper towel since no one was bothered to clean. What a shame for a new establishment to start off so rough! After 45 min wait we were seated we got our drinks in 20mins. But placed food order at same time knowing how long the food might take. After 1hr of waiting and checking in with the waitress on where our food was we finally received 20 chicken wings and curly fries. The food was good and had flavor. The table behind us also had major issues with their order and had to wait an excessive amount of time as well. They asked to speak to the manager but he didn't come over immediately to check on them. Our waitress really tried hard but unfortunately their kitchen n management let them down. Two stars go to food n determination of waitress. I agree with other guests, being a new establishment their manager needs to be more visible on the floor periodically checking in on the guests to make sure that their needs are met. Manager on duty was Seth. I probably wait a couple of months for them to work out all the kinks and then perhaps this establishment will be up and running. I think we've been here something like 5 times. And it has never been good. Service is always slow. It takes forever to get anyone to get their food. Our waitress forgot to put in our drink orders and when we asked her when we would get the drinks she said "OH I FORGOT ABOUT THOSE." The food was like warm at best. And the fries were as stiff as could be. They brought out all the adult meals in one go but made the child waitextra. All in all not a great place to come to eat. They always have games on the TVs. And the patio is nice this time of year. Showed up late Saturday night a group of 4. Took thirty minutes to get a seat on the patio. When walking out of the restaurant through the door entering the patio, on the right I noticed a cigarette butt holder but to the left where the balcony is there was not one. After walking out there to look at lake there was nothing but cigarette butts on the ground. It was awful. I can not believe Hooters is not concerned about the surrounding environment. Those cigarette butts affect everything polluting our waters and its looks disgusting. When we asked our waitress if they carried craft beer she said No then asked what that was. After looking at drink menu we noticed craft beer. I think your staff should be educated with what is on the menu if they are going to serve customers. We will not be returning to this Hooters. Ordered the Hooters Original Buffalo Platter and Lakewood beer. Bone in spicy garlic tasty, great flavor and indeed spicy I would recommend if you like hot and a lot of flavor. Bone out wind were original hot and just what you would expect. The shrimp I hot lemon pepper okay but to salty, so salty in fact this lowered my review by one star. The beer was a good lager but should have been colder. The service was good but nothing above and beyond. I will return. read more

Well, consistent. I have yet to have good service or food that doesn't take forever since this location opened. Dropped in at 2pm with 4 friends, restaurant only half full. Left at 340 and no food. They we're bringing our food to table as we were leaving. Even after having manager called to table, nothing but excuses. Poor service! Could have driven to Hooters in Plano and ate there faster. Hey - its Hooters. What do you want? I was a bit shocked at the reviews, so I tried it myself. I personally found it better than most Hooters. My attendant was Eliana, and she provided exceptional service. I had my old usual of pickles and 10 wings with whatever they call Bentley these days - I think it was 911. All was just great as I would expect. I think the pickles were better than the last few visits to other locations. The wings were huge, one drumette probably would have qualified for a drumstick at a fried chicken joint. One thing I noticed is on the flat wings, they no longer sserve the wing tip. I always enjoyed nibbling on that part. All in all, it was just fine. The kitchen was slow, and Eliana anticipated that and got my order in earlier than I wanted, but all came out at the right time. I guess the BOH needs work, but all in all, I think it was great for a hooters. read more

Went there to watch the Superbowl last night, the place wasn't very busy. We ask the Host if we can sit in the middle of the bar area to watch the big screen TV. She said no because we only had a party of 3 and those tables ar e for 5 or more people. Keep in mind there was 5 tables unused. We told her we might have more company she then rudely said we would have to wait in line again for a bigger table. The Manager Victoria told us that we couldn't sit there either because we only had 3 people. She also mentioned that she might move us if no ones shows up. Then the game starts and what do we see a party of 3 at the table we wanted. Victoria never came back to offer us the bigger table and no one said anything about them sitting there. I told the waitress to tell Victoria she owned us a free dessert for the inconvenience and she came over snapping an attitude, totally unprofessional. Should have read the reviews. From start to finish on food coming out took 30 min and two dishes were clean or one was dry and burnt. They of course took the food off that we didn't eat but nothing else. They charged for premium liquor instead of well and we never asked for premium. Have sat here for 3 hours from start to finish. Ordered Spicy Garlic shrimp order took 36mins arrived lukewarm to touch and terribly over cooked. Brought shrimp to manager on duty's attention, she sent it back only to have the same exact plate returned lukewarm with the previously eaten shrimp tail, hence proving they merely zapped in the microwave and sent it back out again.
