A 1.5 day business trip the Raleigh Durham area led me to this Hooters. To be honest, I can count on one hand how many times I have been inside a Hooters. The food is pretty standard sports bar type food, which I'm not especially partial to. Coming from Florida, I've never seen much southern hospitality, but at this hooters, it was super friendly both times. I must admit, I had fun just talking with the seemingly down to earth locals and staff. Hopefully, I can make another trip to this area! read more

I haven't been to a Hooters in over 15yrs. The only reason my colleagues and I decided to go here was because it's near our hotel. The service here was slower than molasses, everything took too long to get, especially the food and we ordered smoked wings which were actually burnt wings by the time we got them. The drinks were ok as long as it was something basic. Being at half capacity, you would think things would move fairly smooth. Service should be good, food should come out in a reasonable amount of time and cooked properly but not here. The kitchen took their sweet ole time and then burns every single order of wings. I'd go back for drinks but never again for the food. read more

I love Hooters. I don't care what anyone says. This location is small but it's great. The staff is amazing and how do you not like their wings.?! Service is very fast and it's clean (even with the corona virus stuff) they really have shown that it's clean. I was a regular at this location several years ago. Had not been back for some time. I stopped in on the way home and ordered a Big Fish Sandwich and an order of onion rings to go. The rings were great, hot and crispy. The fish in the sandwich was like eating a shoe insole. It went into the trash. I may try again some day when I'm not too hungry. read more

Oh, where do I even start?! Hooters was always my favorite restaurant to go to for fast bar food. Kaya was our server for the night and she has to be the worst server I have ever been waited from. Food situation: she forgot to put in our order. We waited AN HOUR for our food to come out AFTER ordering. Like any other guest very hungry, I was confused and fussy. I think she then realized that she forgot and put in the order when she remembered to. The food then was put on the line (we didn't realize) AS A TO GO ORDER. It had been sitting on the line for 20 minutes. My boyfriend and I had been wondering who those boxes were for and Kaya took a peek and saw that it was our order! Instead of taking ownership of her mistake, she had a cook plate the food that had been sitting for 20 minutes. The food was of course cold and we told her it was. Manager: She brought a manager and he said he would get it remade for us. He seemed very uninterested and we did not see him for the remainder of our stay at Hooters. He did not check up on us nor did he discount anything from our check. Paying out: I overheard a server going up to our server saying that "she's mad" (talking about me) and she yelled out "WHATS THAT BITCH MAD FOR?" Very loud. I was not far from her at all when she said that. Wanting to leave as quickly as I could, I wanted to just take the food to go. The check took an additional 15-20 minutes to be dropped and when we were ready to pay, she took an additional 15 minutes!!! When she came back to our table, she said "oh, did I forget about you guys?" As she gave more attention to guests sitting behind us that were her color. My boyfriend has been a restaurant General Manager for over 15 years and is very forgiving for mistakes made by servers. He was very kind, WAY nicer than he should have been. I have been in the restaurant industry for 10 years and the way we were treated that night, was totally unacceptable. As an interracial couple, I have never felt so ignored and mistreated. I will never return to a Hooters establishment again and my only hope is that Kaya will become a better server OR choose another job. Our night was ruined because of the service and food. However, the girl on the phone assured me I could use my credit toward my next meal, which I am happy to do because usually the food is great. Came here tonight with my coworker from India. I wanted to show him something American and what's more American than Hooters, right? We walked in around 7:10pm and for about 10 seconds, we just stood near the entrance because there was no greeter. After standing there awkwardly for a while, eventually, a girl came by and took us to our seats. She said that someone will be with us right way. After she left, we probably waited for 10 minutes before someone actually stopped by to take our order. We ended up getting helped by Alexus. She started by telling us that she was very tired. It was probably near the end of her shift so I can understand that. I ordered the 10 piece Classic Hooters style wings with garlic Parmesan sauce. My friend ordered the 10 piece with this super hot sauce, I forgot the name of it but it was probably the 2nd spiciest sauce on the menu. It took another 20 minutes before we got our food. Food wise, the wings were great and were all very meaty. She did end up mixing our sauces though. I ordered Ranch and he ordered Blue Cheese but I ended up getting the Blue Cheese. Near the end, when we were getting ready to pay, I already paid but my friend set some cash out for our waitress to take. However, it took a long time for our waitress to actually come back to our table. Instead of taking his cash, she was actually talking with this other table for what seemed like over 10 minutes. Placed a to go order at 10:06pm. Was told it would be 20 mins. My order was only a 6pc wing and fries and a 10pc and fries. Ask one of the hostess at 1040 can she check on my order. She walks back two seconds later come back and says I don't know what's going on with your order, I can ask the takeout girl. I said okay but can YOU just find out what's going on. She leaves a NEVER comes back with answer. ALL THE SERVERS seemed to be TOO BUSY talking and laughing with this one guy in particular. I guess he must work there and off the clock just to hang out because he would go in the back and having too much fun with all the females servers. My husband finally go and ask the bartender about our food she looks at the receipts which has the time our order was place and finally someone who cared enough to take the next step to find out about our order. Her actions seemed to prompt the manager and then serves want to move around yo see what's was going on with our order. Finally, gave it to us at 1057pm, which she pulled from the to go stand, probably cold and nasty by this time. This place was a whole hot mess and need retraining on customer service, professionalism, how to be a server, the manager needs to be train on how to management employee, be attentive to the customers and they service in the restaurant, basically all areas of how to manage. There should have been no reason for us to wait that long and NO ONE bother to check on us, as there were 3 other table right beside us. This restaurant GETS A ZERO STARS from me!!! read more

The hubby had to find the Manager because we sat and then we had to hear the waitress say, "she doesn't have a 3-D vision" as to explain why she didn't see us sitting here for 10 min because the blinds were down and we were sitting outside...girl bye! If I could leave zero stars, I would. DO NOT stop here. Service is m'eh...nothing bad, just not stellar. Food prep is a joke. Overcooked, phoned in and not even mediocre. Then if you have a remake, figure on being at the end of the list or just waiting an extra 30 min. Seems they have never heard of a re-fire. They make the mistake and you pay for it. Let me talk to you about this establishment for a second. As long as you're not an individual that is dining at this establishment to, more or less, exclusively smother the waitresses both visually and verbally with unwanted attention, then this is the place for you. If you come here and treat the staff as you would any other individual (or for guys any other girl) then you're going to meet some very genuine, down to earth individuals as your servers. While I'd love to name drop these beautiful girls and share their actual names, I will not do so to persevere their real identity from the endless amount of males that would abuse knowing such personal information. This visit saw me ordering a Strip Cheese sandwich accompanied by steak fries and cheese dip. As I visited right before the dinner rush the meal arrived quickly and piping hot. Chelsie was my server and did an excellent job stopping by to chat and offering drink refills (as usual sweet tea). Each server took the opportunity to stop by and say hi as well and that is exactly what you'd hope to get out of an experience at any Hooters. read more

You know, it wasn't the best place I could have ate. But shockingly, it wasn't half bad. The waitress was friendly, service was good. Had a group of 4. The buffalo chicken tacos were great. You could add whichever flavor or sauce on them that you wanted so it added a lot of options to one simple meal. It comes with a cabbage and pico mixture on top which I thought would be weird with buffalo wings but was actually good. They top it off with blue cheese or ranch as the dressing. I went with the Chipotle Honey which wasn't too spicy and had great flavor. You can get them grilled or fried also which was a nice option to have. We also had some of the new smoked wings also which whoa those were pretty darn great. They had a dry rub on them but seriously the flavor was on point. I never go to Hooters, more for obvious reasons being that I don't need to see my waitresses tah-tahs. But I have to say, the food was not bad. read more

I came here because it was at the entrance to the hotel I was staying at. When I entered, close to 10 pm, it was really busy and there was almost no place to sit but I was fairly quickly greeted and directed to a table. At first, everything was okay. The waitress was pleasant and attentive while taking my drink and food order, then bringing my tiny margarita martini that in no way resembled the normal sized margarita picture in the menu. After that she disappeared. I waited. I surfed on my phone for awhile. I waited some more. I nursed my tiny margarita because I didn't want to run out and be stuck for awhile waiting for another drink. I waited some more. Eventually she brought the food and quickly disappeared again. I didn't have any napkins (for all the wing sauce and drippings from the fish tacos) or utensils to eat with. Still nursing my tiny margarita while consuming some of the ghost pepper wing sauce and, at this point wanting to order a beer, I kept looking for the waitress but she was nowhere to be found. While the tables around me were being regularly attended to by a different waitress, I continued looking for my waitress so I could get the beer and possibly some napkins and a fork. Many times I thought about walking to the bar to order a beer and get some napkins. Eventually, after my plates were empty and my tiny margarita'ish martini glass was sitting there empty, the waitress finally came back. From what I could see I was her only table, since I didn't see her anywhere else in the restaurant. Earlier I had planned on trying the key lime pie for dessert but now all I wanted was to get out of there. Bored of waiting, thirsty, and with some of the heat of the ghost pepper wing sauce still in my mouth, I ordered a draft beer and my check so I could finally leave as quickly as possible. Met a friend at this Hooters for an early dinner this evening and it was pretty good. I hadn't eaten at a Hooters in probably over twenty years --their menu appears to have really expanded. Our service was great... the waitress was attentive and did her job very well. As for the food, I went with the Shrimp Tacos, which were very good. Of course, the eye candy factor was present and enjoyed. It wasn't that busy when we met up so I can't say how the service would be at peak hours, but it seemed like a good option for carryout (if you're staying at a nearby hotel) or dining in. So I love the concept of Grubhub, Doordash, etc and it's great that so many restaurants are getting on the bandwagon but here's the problem....restaurants need to figure out that they need to send the same things with an order that they would serve at the restaurant. I ordered the fish and chips with shrimp and passion fruit iced tea. The tea was awesome and the food was ok. The next time someone orders fish and/or shrimp, I think it should go without saying to send tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The delivery was very fast and the driver was great! read more

Arrived at 1030pm with a group of 10. The moment the wait staff heard "10", the attitude was confrontational and abrasive from the wait staff. We offered to be split, but they decided to seat us together outside. No problem, but we offered. The waitress initially acted nice but actions spoke louder than words. We made an initial order of 7 lemon drops. They arrived 20min later, they did not taste like lemon drops, and they all had salt on the rim. Another waitress overheard the discussion, informed the bartender who came outside herself to ask what the problem was. A productive conversation was had and she agreed to remake the drinks. No worries, mistakes happen. We finally were able to make a food order 30min after our arrival. 40 wings 2 fry orders for 10 people. Pretty simple order, it was 1115. We ordered beers and water that never arrived. We ordered Vegas bombs for 7. Four gentleman ordered pickle backs. When those arrived, they were premixed. One guy went to the bar, was able to get a pitcher and told them the pickle backs were wrong. The bar tender sent back a shot of whiskey and a pint glass of pickle juice (picture attached). The food arrived after midnight. A guy went to check on the Vegas bombs at the bar. He overheard multiple members of the wait staff voice racist remarks against our party with accusations of entitlement(presumably because we wanted our drinks made correctly). With additional questioning to the waitress, the Vegas bombs arrived. They did not have any alcohol in them, 100% sour mix. No complaints were made, at this point just looking for the check. The check arrived, the waitress had changed the group for the bad lemon drops and the alcoholess Vegas bombs(can't charge me for alcohol when you didn't put any in it, that's fraud). At least be truthful and change me for 7 shots of sour mix. Waitress was abrasive when questioned, we requested the manager who had been in the kitchen all night. Nice gentleman who is in a difficult position. We paid for the wings, beer and correct lemon shots. It is not clear if the bar tenders actions were intentional or she lacks the knowledge. When it was over, orders for 4 beers and 3 liquor drinks with doubles were not filled, fallen in deaf ears. We received 25 shots, only 8 were made correctly. Can not recommend this establishment. When we walked in we stood at the hostess stand with at least two people walking pass who didn't even acknowledge that we were standing there. Finally someone comes to seat us. We sit down and wait for someone to come take our drink order or at least tell us that someone would be with us shortly. But nope multiple servers walk by. Oh by the way one server there must have brought her kid to work and was chasing it around. The only reason I say it was her kid was when we walked in about 4 servers were at the table with the kid who look At us but did not acknowledge we were waiting to be seated. Got there, nobody acknowledged me...found my way to the bar for my order and was told it "wasn't quite ready yet, but will Be up shortly".......after 30 minutes and watching a floor manager walk past me repeatedly, I asked one of the servers for a manager...she quickly replied "he's in the kitchen"....that was it...she went to get my food finally and came back. Nobody here has a sense of guest relations, not do they seem to care about ticket times or making guest happy. Nobody apologized for the long wait . I'm in the service industry and I'm soooooo tired of lazy service! People just don't get the concept of guest retention I guess. Stopped off here on the way home from work because traffic was at a crawl. Staff greeted me promptly and it was busy but had a place For me to sit with no issues. My server, Steph, was pleasant and helpful and suggested I try the new smoked wings! WOAH! Is all I can say. Normally I think Hooters wings are neck and neck with competitors but these smoked wings put them over the top. They smoke the wings plain and then you can add a new dry rub or traditional wet sauce to them! I hope these wings never go away... it was that good. I'll be back for the wings for sure. read more

It's unusual for me to find myself in a chain restaurant for dinner, but when Charlie F (Hooters expert!) posted a UYE to share in some food and fun, I naturally knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to lose my Hooters virginity. And my 'first time' will certainly be a memorable one! Charlie generously shared the gift of wings with us -- in a bajillion flavors... my faves being the 919 spicy wings and the garlic-parmesan. I know the guys' saying goes "I go to Hooters for the wings"; but, well, maybe there's a teeny bit of truth to that on top of going for the beautiful women! In our elaborate spread, we also had spicy chicken fingers (of which I didn't have the strength to try and stuff into my stomach), fried pickles (excellent! Tangy, and with a nice soft friend batter), onion rings, fries, loaded tots (underwhelming compared to, say, Dain's tots on fire; I'd say you can safely skip these), and junior burgers (these I really enjoyed! They're slider-sized, and the crisp pickle really offset bite nicely. I do wish the buns had been toasted). At the recommendation of a colleague earlier today, I also ordered the clam chowder. I loved that it was chock full of clam, but it definitely wasn't the best version of this soup I've had. However, at about $4, it's definitely worth the price. Our waitress was sweet as can be and handled our group pretty well. The service was slow at times, but we had several people in our party -- and the way the parking lot was overflowing on a Monday night, I'm sure they had their work cut out for them! read more
