One of the last Hooters somewhat drivable from the Bay Area. Still irked that some people tend to hate on this place. Frequented the Dublin one for years and was sad to see it go. Amazing spot to watch sports/fights. The original breaded wings are so different than any other wings from any other place. Love these wings. Tasty, meaty, spicy enough to be yum. The servers are always friendly here and very attentive. The beer is always the absolute best anywhere. That's without exception. But the food is hit or miss and that has been the case on multiple dinning attempts here. This time I tried the Baja fish tacos but it was not edible and I couldn't even chew it becuase it was so tough. I was hungry enough to eat around the tough parts, until that unidentifiable fishy taste put an end to that. Even the taco shell was very tough. Maybe I'll go back to the buffalo chicken wings and reset my opinion. Until then, I'll stick to what they do best: cold beer! read more

I've been coming to the Rohnert Park location for years. All of the girls and staff are super sweet and friendly. I've never been disappointed with the food or service. Ok, im only writing/reviewing this 5stars because its long overdue exclusively because of Ginsia. Her charisma and charm is the ONLY reason I would come here and now that she's gone & I regret not coming more to send her off On to the food though, which in its own right also deserves praise. I Ordered the tenders 8.5/10 and they are fresh af always, the dont taste like Sysco tenders but if im wrong then they probably have way fresher oil. Daytona naked wings 8.4/10. Fries (when they're fresh) 9/10. Ambiance...... Ginsia made it 10/10!!! While I don't believe the current staff is capable of replacing her luckily they have a new hire which helped the transition, That would be Danica (i hope i spelled her name right). She's only a server and we only go to the bar but I hope they hire someone that can replace her. I loved loved the Shrimps! You can choose your own flavors and they are seasoned to the teeth! The service is beautiful and great. Many crafts beers, many sports television on for entertainment and a full bar for shots or mixed drinks! Plentiful parking and a variety of food to choose from. I wouldn't feed this food to my dog. The waitress was very nice though. The manager comped the meal after the waitress told him I barely touched my food. But the fact that it left the kitchen like this is a red flag. The one by my house was so good but it got shut down. I was very excited to eat here and was totally let down. read more

I always visit a hooters if I'm in the area I love the shrimp. We came here on a Saturday. I ordered the shrimp and my husband ordered chicken and waffles. The order took a very long time. We visited during a weekday lunch hour. There were just two waitresses and only 4 to 6 customers. The two waitresses did not seem busy and spent most of their time chatting with one another. When the food came, one item was wrong (wrong tacos). We ate what was delivered as it was an acceptable alternative, just not what we ordered (my wife did not want to have to wait again). When the waitress came by again, the food was eaten and we politely mentioned the error. We were offered the chance to speak with the manager, which we did not want to bother doing, but hoped one of the drinks (iced tea which tasted almost exactly like water) would be comped as a gesture. Nothing was done. Overall a disappointing experience. Hooters used to be fun and have good service. We had not visited one in years in years and based on this experience, we do not plan to visit again anytime soon. A pricey lunch, a dull experience with poor service. read more

My boyfriend and I were talking about how we miss Hooters and it sucks there aren't any around anymore. The last time we went to was about a year ago in Houston. We looked up the closest location and I was up for the drive so we headed out. I was kinda worried- hoping that we weren't driving an hour plus to be disappointed. Luckily for us, that wasn't the case. Fried pickles were perfect. Not a soggy pickle in the batch. Some were pretty salty though. Fries were all nice and crispy. The chili was surprisingly good. I've never tried it. I got the spicy garlic wings which weren't very spicy. They tend to get salty as well. We got the hot and medium Buffalo which were standard. The steamed shrimp was really good. Another pleasant surprise. Nicely seasoned. It was a fight night and we paid $15 bucks each. Not a huge deal since my bf wanted to watch the fight somewhere anyway. I love the food at Hooters! I grew up in San Ramon and I used to go with my friends a lot to the Dublin location. I also lived down in San Diego for the last decade so I would frequent the Hooters down there. My absolute favorite are their Lots-A-Tots! They're the best tots topped with nacho cheese, sour cream, bacon and green onions! They're so bomb! I didn't get fried pickles this time around but that's also one of my favorites. I got an order of their honey bbq wings. The food really hit the spot! I even got a souvenir keychain haha! Please re-open a Hooters in the East Bay!!! I seriously miss the Happy Hour! read more

The service was horrible, my wife got there before me and my son and she asked if they would sing happy birthday to him, she told my wife they couldn't because there was only two of them, but there was 5 waitresses. So it was the end of our meal and I thought I would give it another shot because we had been done eating for 15 minutes and hadn't gotten boxes for our food or the check, and I asked if they would sing him happy birthday and she again told me no. I normally never would leave no tip, but these ladies definitely deserved the $2 they got for the horrible service. We went to Hooters Friday night, and our server - Lesslie - was amazing to us. We came in from the Oakland area since there aren't many Hooters near us nowadays. She made our experience worth the journey! Will definitely come back as long as she's our server!!! The restaurant atmosphere was like any other sports bar. Plenty of televisions to watch whatever sports you wanted. We even requested to show a San Jose Sharks game on one of the televisions and the staff was accommodating. The one area that does need some improvement is the food - it's not terrible or anything but it lacked... flavor... especially the chicken&waffles and the curly fries we had. Overall though, I would definitely recommend coming in with the boys for a night out. read more

My wife's nephew wanted the Hooters experience before going back home to the Philippines so we decided to have a little family outing. Place is spacious with a full bar. TVs lined up around the whole restaurant. Perfect for a sports fan especially during the football season. During our visit we had 100 wings, tater tots and a few pints. We had them the Hooters Style which is breaded. Crispy light breading, fried perfectly. Tried a few different sauces, Garlic Parm, Hot Honey, Chipotle Honey, Buffalo Hot and Spicy Garlic. Their Buffalo Sauce is very good but the crowd favorite was the Chipotle Honey. Tater Tots were nice and crispy, nice side to the wings. I'd come back if I were in the area or had some friends willing to drive out for a sports event. read more

Food: the food is still great from what I remember. I haven't been at a Hooters Restaurant/Bar in years (a decade to be exact). We basically ordered wings, burgers, fries and beer. They mostly had bar type food. The fries is always a hot. It's fresh and crispy and not so salty. I can say the same about the wings. Service: it was great. Our service was friendly and she was very attentive. Ambiance: My nieces haven't been to a Hooters at all so we decided to go since we were nearby. The ambiance is a total sports Bart, bright lights, lots of TVs, Booth and high bar seatings and very loud. But it's a lot of fun. read more

My boyfriend and I had never been to Hooters, but after re-watching blended recently and getting tires right next to Hooters we decided that it was time to try. We were seated quickly, and our waitress was on a break so another waitress grabbed our drink orders. My boyfriend got the big daddy sized beer And I stuck with water. And then we went for the wings with the second hottest sauce, which I'm gonna say is white girl hot but still pretty good. I think we're gonna try the hottest weed for the next time that we come. I got the Baja shrimp tacos and he got the loaded tots and we shared it all and it was delicious. The tots were cooked perfectly and fully loaded with sour cream and cheese as promised, and the waitress was delightful. When I realized Hooters in Fisherman's Wharf and Tanforan have permanently (and unfortunately) closed, I was disheartened. There was just something about the way they prepared their original breaded Buffalo Wings. They served up a truly classic and delicious plate of buttery and crispy wings for the "real man". Even their Chesapeake spiced (Old Bay) wings really won my heart with its mild, salty and peppery goodness. While the Hooters Rohnert Park location is a good 50 miles me, I'd hit up this spot on occasion. It's only worth the drive if you truly love wings. I'd still order the Buffalo and the Chesapeake flavors because , yes, it's that good! The only time I was ever disappointed with Hooters was the time my wings were served warm. read more

I returned after probably a decade, to this Hooters in RP. I had recently eaten at Hooters in BKK & enjoyed it. Two days ago I had lunch solo at the RP location. The service was prompt & good. The prices are high. I ordered six Detroit-style wings for about $15. The curly fries were also pricy at about $8, as was the same priced side salad. The Coors beer on tap was cold, no complaints and a big cup of ice water were had with my meal. My main complaint other than the expense; the food lacked flavor, especially the curly fries. Customers should be able to add a small side of fries & side-salad, at a reduced price, if ordering a main dish, opinion. read more

Wow. Epic fail. The waitress Tiffany, is cute and sweet - but does not belong in the bar area as a server. She kinda sucks. She has a whole 4 tables, and chalked on us twice. Our order was 100% wrong. Took over 30 to even get the food just to send it back and wait another 30 min!!!! The salad ordered never came. The manager (chewe) was amazing and did everything he could to fix it. I will come back for this guy, but this waitress is terrible. The kitchen staff definitely leaves a lot to be desired.
