The beer was cold but it took forever after taking forever for a waitress to acknowledge my presence. Chicken sandwich was greasy overly so. Dripping onto my paper it was not only terrible but my neighbor asked me to post on it after seeing the pool of oil! I didn't finish the food! The manager Author turned a almost horrible experience into a great one. We arrived and our first server got everything wrong, apps before drinks, didn't get what we ordered, pretty bad. Thankfully we saw a familiar face, Vanessa at the bar. As soon as we saw she was working we asked to transfer to one if her tables. She is always on point and has taken care of us several times. I knew we were in good hands. Aurthur transferred our table and made sure we were well taken care of. Followed up a few more times and apologized about the start. I visited my first Hooters in 1989 in Columbia SC and was hooked for life. They are still the best wings by far. Sadly, it's getting more difficult to find a restaurant with decent service-- forget about the decline in your average Hooter Girl. Yet, I still keep going back for the same crappy service. Tonight I walk in the no smoking section through a cloud of Vape with the Hooter girl sitting at the table with the kid that must have stole the pipe. I asked the Hostess where I v I uld sit ouside the smoke and Vape and her response was "anywhere". I chose the enclosed patio with 3 other tables filled. Waited 10 minutes and left without the any service although 2 servers walked past me 2 times. I told the hostess on the way out "yall need to get your crappy together". Her response "whatever". I ordered online for after work dinner pickup to go. I was trying support a local business. I'm disappointed with the service I've received. The young lady that brought my food to me was polite, but had to make several trips to the kitchen to get items ordered as she seemed hurried. I get my order home and notice that half of my orders of wings had no sauce on them, just naked and fried, no flavors! I attempted to call to speak with someone multiple no answered calls and when I do and try to speak with a manager, placed on hold then hung up on! Worst experience from this establishment. This was the worst experience ever! My family and I came for good wings and good beer, but we left with no food and very disappointed. After promises of the "food will be out shortly" and "it will be out in 5 minutes," we left after an hour of waiting on our food to never be delivered. The manager came out and handled the situation poorly and gave us bad information on how much longer we would have to wait for our food. The manager never came out after the initial contact 40 minutes in, and the waitress thought running food to another table would be a better idea than to come back to the table after we asked how much longer. AVOID THE GULF FRWY LOCATION! WORST SERVICE EVER! From the moment we walked in the door waiting for someone to even to attend to us was a struggle. The manager accidentally made eye contact and HAD to come ask if we've been helped. It look 20 minutes just to get water. It didn't take long for the first plate to come out, but they literally brought each and every item one at a time. Then waitress literally asked if everyone was okay, at least 3 people didn't even have a plate. Then she brought one persons wings, But no fries, then 20 minutes Later they bring the ranch (just ranch; nothing else in the waitresses hands ) this trend lasted for about 30 minutes before everyone had their food. By the time we got our sides our other food was cold. She one checked on us 1 time after that. The manager walked around but never stopped at our table. We never got an apology or explanation or anything. It seemed like everyone was too clueless and airheaded to notice there were any issues. Also, I've seen cleaner gas station restrooms.. I typically love Hooters but will never go back to this location. We ordered our food and drinks at 7:30. The drinks (waters) took 20 min to come out. Beers took 40. The appetizer took over an hour to come out and our meals easily over 90 min. Slow service is an understatement! A meal that should have taken an hour took 2 1/2. We were told that there was a cook out so the kitchen was backed up after we complained about the wait for food. This should have been mentioned before. It also took over 15 minutes for our server to return with our cards so we could finish paying the bill! There is no reason to come back here ever. Sadly this was my first time at any Hooters but it will likely be my last. Came here for a birthday for a friend but here's why I won't go back. 1. The service wavers between "sucks" and "non-existent." 2. When we finally did get our drinks, they were lousy. $25 worth of alcoholic beverages that could not possibly have had a drop of alcohol in them. Sorry, no, I don't pay this for juice, mixers and ice. 3. Appetizers took forever to order and even longer to arrive. Sampler platter with snow crab showed up with not one single utensil to crack or work the crab with and no plates. 4. Waitress brought hubby his second drink but got the order wrong and laughed about it. Then, we were charged the $1.50 more that the wrong drink cost above what he ordered. That may have been ok except that a Long Island Ice Tea with NO alcohol just doesn't work on any level. How they managed to even make one like that is a complete mystery. 5. Smoking sections! I guess it's a sports bar but I don't do other people smoking with my food. Yuck! 6. The waitresses spent most of the time flirting with all of the guys who ordered buckets of beer. And they weren't even hot. I seldom ever leave zero tip no matter how bad the food or service is. However $43 for this crap was good money thrown away. Not to mention that we were still hungry and wanted to go home and eat and drink afterwards. Oh well. Should have read the other yelp reviews to understand that my request for naked extra crispy extra wet (ala authentic buffalo wings) wouldn't be fulfilled. Lackluster fry temps meant the skin was soggy and virtually inedible. The wait staff attempted to make up for it and accommodate but I'll pass this joint up for the one down the toad in Pasadena. Sad as it's a great location (close to me), but the 20 minute trip virtually guarantees an extra star vs this puerile attempt at wings. read more

Ok, I called the Hooters in Pasadena on BW 8 & was on hold 4eva, which is always. So I just figured I'd go to the one in Webster off 45S. I always get my wings fried crispy or well done which is like 20 minutes. Therefore with that being said I got my wings back and they were not fried to my liking still soft. I had to wait another 20-25 minutes again for my order. Like I told the manager, if my order was done correct in the beginning I would not have been the only person there for lunch over an hour because the cook did not know what well done was or just didn't follow my orders. If I could give this a negative star I would. I have never been put down by an employee ever at a restaurant until now. As I entered An employee told me I had to sit at the bar rather than getting a table like I asked and really had no interest sitting at the bar. Thankfully some of the ladies were nice enough to tell me this guy was kidding but really made me feel like I was not welcome for absolutely no reason. So I left and asked for his name. Awful experience. After convincing my group that Hooter's was better than Twin Peaks...mostly because I selfishly was dying for the Buffalo Shrimp, the service and food were awful. Look...I expect sub par service. But it took forever and finally it gets there...the buffalo shrimp were so over cooked it reminded of the turkey off Christmas vacation when they cut into it and it "poofed" to nothing. Then my sister bites into her naked boneless wings and they were ice cold in the middle. We sent both back, but never once did a manager come over to ask why. Do not waste your time or money. This place sucks!! We were seated and it took forever for our waitress to come to our table. We were about to leave when she came by and said she would be right with us. Now I know places get busy BUT that was not the case here. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and to make matters worst there was a group of waitress, 6-7 of them, just sitting down at a table. They weren't on break because every once in awhile they would get up and check on their table or food that was coming out. We hardly saw our waitress and had to ask her for refills. Once we were done eating, we could not find her anywhere to get our check. Turns out she was sitting with another waitress in the corner. This kind of service seems to be standard here now. Went in this past Sunday after a long fishing trip... Was hungry and thirsty so the squad and myself decided on hooters since it was on the way in. Was sat down...order taken . Waited 40 mins for one appetizer. When it was finally brought out after watching the other 15 people in the establishment eating it was not only cold but also over cooked. The shrimp were minuscule and the wings could've been used as paper weights. Our drinks stayed empty and once the wings came out.... Smdh... Another batch of cold over cooked dried wings. I came in for the UFC fight last night, and it was AWESOME!!! I have been to other locations before to see a fight on a Saturday night, but this location (despite being packed) was on point. They brought them out anyway, took them off my tab, boxed them to go and guess what? They were just as under cooked as the first ones. Horrible place. Just horrible. Wish there was a negative on the star rating. Took forever to get my food. Took forever to get a refill on my drink, which was water by the way. My waitress said it was a busy night, it was not, place was not even half full. Maybe they should have been more worried about their other customers instead of singing happy birthday to someone. My food was horrible. Boneless wings were hard and dry. I think I have a solution to keep customers drinks full, get the other 5 or so waitresses that were sitting at customers tables like they were on a date to get to work. The larger Caucasian woman with short hair is extremely unprofessional. Our waitress laurelle was putting in our order and the manager woman walked straight up to her and said "you need to take this other table" it had maybe 20 people at it. She tried to tell her that she was overwhelmed with our large group and she had a few other tables. I am a waitress myself so I understand. But the manager was just extremely aggressive with her and ultimately the waitress had to come back and apologize to us because she was being sent home and could no longer wait on us because she didn't immediately go take the group of 20 people. I asked another waitress there was laurelle responsible for that table and she wasn't! It wasn't even in her section. Worst Hooters ever. Fails us every time. Waitresses can never give us good service. Update on 10/31/2015: This seriously is the worst Hooters ever. When I get the cravings for wings, I do not come here any more. My waiter kept getting our order wrong and refused to write it down on a notepad. She kept "memorizing" it and getting our appetizer and order wrong. She never checked on us throughout our stay and focused on getting her tip from a single man sitting at another table nearby. Not to mention my "margarita" tasted like a smoothie rather than an alcoholic beverage. When I told her my drink was off, she gave me attitude and assured me that their premade margarita concoction had alcohol in it... YES people...it's premade :p We could never get her to focus on our table to address these issues appropriately. We thought about calling her manager over but we were honestly so tired that day after a long day of errands that we didn't bother. HOWEVER, this chick Kasey decided to charge a $5 tip to my credit card herself that i did NOT leave!!!! I called the place to complain about it yet I would have to be the one to stop by and go through the hassle of getting my money back. NOT worth it. I have not been back here and refuse to come back to this Hooters location. BEWARE if you have Kasey as a waitress as she will unlawfully charge the tip she thinks she deserves and the company will STILL allow her to do so. read more

I've been to this location many times over the years and it's always been one of the top hooters I've been to. We visited last night and the food was great we got boneless wings buffalo shrimp and fried pickles. The manager was making rounds constantly checking in to make sure things were going well. The only bad thing was our waitress took our pickles without asking but she got us a new batch free and we wanted to watch the SF Giants&Cardinals game (very big deal) and they wouldn't put it on a TV closer to us so we could see better. read more
