It's a hit or miss with Hooters locations. I've been to some with excellent customer service and attentive staff but was sorely disappointed with lack of attention from servers at this location. We were there for some drinks and signature hooters appetizers. The server was baffled at our request to make a pina colada while the gentleman two tables down was gently sipping on one. In addition to this the servers were more interested in talking to the table next to us, supposedly with the manager or Wilmington celebrities instead of bringing me a 2nd round of beer as I had asked. As always the food was delicious and brought out within a reasonable time frame but staff needs a good stern talking to. read more

This might possibly be the worst establishment I've ever visited. The service was awful (45 minutes for a few wings), there for 1.5 hours and our waitress stopped at the table TWICE. The most work she did was char with her co-workers about how ready she was to be off work and how she just needed "room to breathe (keep in mind, she MAY have had 2-3 total tables at the time. The drinks were wrong, ordered double whiskey and they MAY have had one total shot in them. Got the bone in wings, and we're freezer burnt so bad, that I had to spit out a extremely tiny piece; couldn't even stomach that. I'd give this place ZERO stars if possible. Went here for lunch. Cold, disgusting food that took forever to get to the table. Don't waste your time or money. The whole place just seemed kind of grungy and dirty. I didn't even want to use the restroom because it was so dirty. I waited until I got back to work. There are so many good places to eat in Wilmington, but this is not one of them. I'll never go back inside that disgusting place again and I sure will be spreading the word!! read more

Only put one star because it's required. I've been to this location on 2 separate occasions many months apart for work. Tonight is a game night VERY busy and packed. Figuring we would wait quite a while for our food but sure we'd be promised hot fresh food, right? Wrong. After an hour of waiting our food finally came and not only were the wings smaller than I'd ever seen with practically no meat at all on them but they were luke warm! Our curly fries were already cold and hard as if they'd been sitting there waiting for 20 minutes before they got to our table. The staff was very unattentive and seemingly uninterested in serving us (Brey). Highly disappointed (we got all you can eat wings) every set of wings took probably 30 or more minutes to get to us. Frustrated, I am writing this review to say that for a frequent Hooters goer back home I've been disappointed twice by this location and figured their consistent in only 2 things, wasting your time and providing mediocre (if that) food. If you plan on going here, don't. It's not worth wasting money for a lower than average quality experience. Look for another Hooters location near and read the reviews because this place isn't what a Hooters experience is. Highly disappointed yet again. Won't be returning. First time eating here with my daughter. Halfway through my daughter's wings, she realizes, not one, but TWO have hair fried into the batter. We let the waitress know and she mentions it to the manager. She came back and said he would comp the caesar salad. Waitress was super nice, but I wouldn't return. Totally ruined our appetites. read more

Somewhat quick service. Girls were on 10 which helped. Friendly. Other bar goers were chatty.

Wife and I live about 3 hours away but have a daughter going to UNCW. We go to Hooters every time we are in town. Katie, the bar tender, remembers us every time (even our order). LOVE this place!! read more

I remember the first time coming to this location when I was about 18 in 1993... Since then, I've probably been no more than 10 times. I'm not a huge fan of their food, although it's not bad, I've just had better wings elsewhere. Waitstaff has always been nice though. read more

The wings are good, and i loved the employee uniforms. Although there was a male working there and that ruined the experience for me. That guy was creepy. Thank goodness he didnt have to wait for me. He did try and talk to me though. I polity asked him to get lost and send the youngest girl worker they had over here instead. read more

Great food, beautiful ladies and atmosphere. Cold beer. Nothing but good things to say. Best place to go if you want to watch any sports.

great Hooters, one of my top 10 and I have been to almost 100! They have buzztime trivia, super hot girls and the food is a step above most Hooters..traffic is bad in this part of Wilmington do not try to pull out and go left from front exit. read more

Horrible place took an hour for an appetizer that got brought out with meals after saying we wanted them separate 2 of the 4 meals were wrong took 30 min to get a different meals and it was still wrong server basically ignored us the whole time worst service experience of my life very upset only did one star because I had to I wish I could rate it 0 stars read more

We were seated right away no wait. Place was empty. I should have worried then. Waitresses were walking all around. Not one acknowledged us. Sat there for 8 to 10 minutes. Others started to enter restaurant. They were seen to quickly. We got up and left. They were too busy playing hoolo hoop up front to worry about waiting on us. read more

I arrived in to town very late Friday night for the marathon. Hooters was across from my hotel and I walked in at 12:30 when they closed at 1:00. I was worried if they would still be serving food. I am so glad that they were. It was the best experience I have had at Hooters in ages. Great food and friendly service. NCAA games on the tube and a nice atmosphere all around. the food was really good. the service was horrible.. Got thee about an hour befor closing. Bartender made it seem like I had committed a moral sin. I apologized for getting there so close to "closing time". Got a grunt from the b.t. Spoke with kitchen manager as well. 1 of the nicest guys I met. Apologized again for getting there so late and he was as pleasant as could be. assured me it was no trouble at all. funny how the bartender has to open 1 beer and acts like she was curing cancer and the kitchen (who did all the work) was happy that I ordered. Monday night we walk in at 10:30 to the kitchen guy shaking his head as if another customer was a burden. No one greets us, finally the PREGNANT bartender comes over from sitting at a table in the dining room to take our drink order. Manager texting and watching the football game behind the bar . Two flat waitresses sitting at the end of bar in the middle of their shift . I realize it's a slow night but wow. Not to mention the HO on the sign are the only two letters that light up . Hooters is my favorite restaurant in town! I get the same thing every time. Honey chipotle wings, fries and crab legs.
