Great 3 level patio overlooking Prior Lake and the Marina! Dog friendly with bowls of water provided. People friendly, too, with tasty food options, sunshine and a cool breeze. Chose Walleye Tacos with side of chips and salsa, Classic Cheeseburger with fries and Truly. Can't beat that!

We had a group of 6 at Charlie's for a bachelorette. Their patio area is gorgeous, with lots of tables & a nice view of the lake. We were able to change our reservation from inside to outside, which was great! Our server was awesome, super helpful & attentive. Our drinks arrived fairly quickly, with the food also coming out fast after ordering. I got a bloody Mary, which came with a deep fried pickle, so that was a fun surprise. It was tasty, without being spicy, but still having some good flavor. I also ordered a Veggie Skillet, which was fairly tasty; it had a TON of potatoes, which I don't mind, but it didn't have a ton of substance otherwise. The price was a little steep for what it was, & the watery veggies sort of drowned out any seasoning that would've been there. I think with some hot sauce or more seasoning, it would've been better!

Great cocktails and awesome food menu for an awesome outdoor restaurant on the lake. This is the spot to be! The music is up, the people are buzzing and everyone is having a good time. The pretzel is a MUST try and the tacos are unreal.

Good food, average prices. The chicken wild rice soup was delicious. And this restaurant has a Beautiful view of the lake when sitting on the balcony.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch--the girls love the Bloody Marys, especially with the deep-fried pickle! I went with the two-meat platter (brisket and pulled pork), which came with cornbread and two sides (fries and smashed red potatoes). The brisket had a nice smoke ring, was tender, and had great moisture. The pulled pork had good flavor but was a tad dry--not bad, just would've liked a little more moisture. The cornbread and fries were decent, but the smashed red potatoes stood out with a nice crisp and great flavor. The lady ordered the "Dirty Fries" from the app menu, which came loaded with fries, pulled pork, cheese, and queso--but they forgot the BBQ sauce. Even so, she enjoyed it. Our server was friendly and attentive, and while prices are a bit on the higher side, it's understandable given the lakeside location. Overall, a good experience!

We are visiting friends for the weekend, and we had lunch at Charlie's On Prior. They have a great deck, with plenty of seating and a gorgeous view of the lake. Their cheese curds with jalapeño ranch were delicious! I got a club sandwich and it was fine. The fries with seasoned sour cream were good, too. Our server was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this spot on a nice day!

Ugh... Wanted to love this spot, but it really doesn't deliver! Met up with a friend for a weeknight evening dinner and probably won't return. Parking is near impossible, with a small lot and back-up lot. I'd recommend just circling until you see someone leaving, and then grab their spot. Outdoor seating available overlooking the lake is the only reason this spot retained some stars. Service was not good at all. We had a friend walk over to the table and the server actively reached over her to give us the bill device while we were talking to her. So rude, just trying to collect his check. Food was average but WAY overpriced. Appetizers pushed $20 each for a bar pretzel and a few slices of deep fried avocado? Not worth it! I had the walleye tacos, which were bland, underdressed, covered in generic slaw, and had the smallest little corn cake served on the side. A tap beer sets you back $10. An ideal location with a restaurant that falls short.

Went here for dinner and really enjoyed it! I love how it's right on the lake and the inside decor is really quaint. The food selection in the upstairs restaurant is very large too, something for everyone on the menu!! It was hard deciding what to get, the staff and GM did a great job providing their feedback and thoughts towards the menu. I opted to go with the a side of broccoli and the Tuscany Chicken Pizza with Cauliflower crust. Yum!! Didn't take long to get the order delivered to my table and really enjoyed the fresh flavors. A great local spot in a beautiful area. High quality food at a great price! Friendly and helpful staff and such a fun vibe. I'm definitely going to be back and make this a regular spot I visit!

They have massive TVs all around the restaurant to make sure you won't miss any action. They had NBA, NHL, WWE, and other sports shows. The atmosphere was great with all the TVs but the live music was an added bonus. You have the option to sit in the bar area or at a table/booth. We had 6 people and were seated immediately. The food and drinks were decently priced. I got the ounce of pain burger and it was underwhelming. It was okay but it was too saucy/greasy and the bun fell apart. The fries were tasty though! The server was fast and attentive. We couldn't have asked for better service. Overall a great place to come and watch the game!

Best inside-casino restaurant experiences I've had in MN!…read more I would absolutely recommend Hop House to any first-timers or anyone visiting the casino. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once you walk in, it opens up into a huge, thoughtfully designed space that feels perfect for sports watching, live music, and trivia nights. The decor is beautiful and clearly intentional because it doesn't feel like a typical casino restaurant at all. The menu has a really solid variety of elevated bar food with some standout options like bucatini pasta, a bahn mi sandwich, and even steak. We started with the cheese curds, which were excellent. They were flash-fried with a delicate batter, and served with a spicy jam sauce that I really enjoyed. The bucatini pasta was solid but definitely on the spicier side, kind of what you'd expect if spaghetti got an upgrade and a kick of heat. The "An Ounce of Pain" burger was probably the highlight of the mains. It was ordered medium but came closer to medium rare, which I personally didn't mind because it still tasted great. The toppings made it very creamy overall, so the bacon jam didn't stand out as much as I expected, but the caramelized onions were the real star. The arugula also added a nice fresh crunch. Fries were just okay, but I would order this entire meal again! The Chicago-style hot beef sandwich was another strong pick for its huge portion/good price, good spice from the peppers, and a really nice homemade-style roll that was crisp on the outside but soft inside. It held up well without getting too soggy, especially with the au jus bottom dip. And then the skillet cookie...easily the best part of the meal. Huge, perfect for sharing (though I definitely could've eaten it alone), warm, rich, and easily one of the best desserts I've had in a while. The sea salt topping was perfect. The pop rocks were a little unexpected and not totally necessary, but there wasn't much of it, so it didn't take away from how good it was. Overall, Hop House is a place I'd absolutely come back to on my next casino visit, especially during football season. Hoping they offer brunch because this would be an easy go-to spot!

I imagine it would be really nice in the spring/summer as there is a horse track right outside of the restaurant which would provide a great view to a race. It definitely got a little loud just sitting inside They had a large variety of options to choose from on the menu. They also offered a great and surprisingly extensive Happy Hour Menu which we got there in time to take advantage of.  We got the burger and thought it was very tasty, we love a good caramelized onion. I thought it definitely needed some ketchup to balance out the heaviness of the onions and cheese with a little bright acidity. I also thought the patties themselves were very good, thin with a slight crisp to them with a soft bun and melty sauces and cheese. Since it was a happy hour option the burger did not come with any sides like it would have as an entrée. We also got fish tacos and we were a big fan of the slaw and pineapple mayo which brought a balance of sweet and savory to the dish. Only came with two tacos (at least for happy hour) which might not be enough food if you're hungry. The hot smoked salmon was one of the more unique items we tried. The salmon itself was super tasty - salty and smoky just what you want. They use the smaller scraps of salmon that wouldn't work in their Wood-Fired King Salmon entrée and incorporate it into this appetizer which is great sustainability-wise! The salmon came with a creamy ricotta, salty capers, crunchy crostini, and sweet and acidic pickled red onions. We liked this combination a lot but felt it could have used even more sweetness/acidity, maybe just adding a couple more onions to the dish. We really enjoyed the 'Garganelli' pasta dish. It was creamy and indulgent with pieces of lobster and freshly shaved parmesan on top. The chili added a really nice layer of heat but wasn't overpowering. The server was nice enough to split up everything we had over the evening to share (which explains the two small portions in the photo). MN Mule - 8/10 Pretty average but solid mule. However, it was served in a plastic spam cup which elevated the whole experience. Margarita - 9/10 Very good margarita - we were told it was a house made margarita not from a mix. Very bright and fresh flavors that definitely let the tequila shine. Overall would definitely recommend!

We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous.
