Awesome service and drinks! Came here with my sister and we are very pleased with the experience.

We came for the drinks and atmosphere, I looked this place up on yelp and had great reviews. I'm glad I got to experience it.

Spacious and comfortable interior. Very different feel from the previous brewery.

I'm delighted Hopnonymous Brewing has finally opened in Normal Heights, taking over Little Miss Brewing's former space. With excellent beer, cool people, and a welcoming vibe, Hopnonymous has everything I want in a brewery. We came here for the soft opening which was full of fans, friends, and family. Remy the owner was there greeting everyone warmly, and it was a lively scene without being overly crowded or crazy. They did an excellent job of redoing the space and making it feel clean, bright, and inviting. They also fixed up and expanded the formerly decrepit back patio into a comfy space, complete with heat lamps and market lights. The brewery is now a place you can comfortably hang out with your dog, a book, or food from any of the nearby restaurants while having a beer. As an aside, I highly recommend Zia pizza and Thai Joint for great take out vegan options. Despite their moniker, Hopnonymous offers way more than super hoppy IPAs. I've had a delicious imperial stout, hazy IPA, Belgian ale, and more, and I'm looking forward to trying their fruited sours once the weather warms up. Welcome to the neighborhood, Hopnonymous! We're glad you're here.

Still saving the city from thirst since 2018 and now reviving a crafty tasting room in 2025. Neat. This Normal Heights/Adams Avenue spot was formerly a Little Miss location...RIP. Bummed I missed last Friday's opening to experience the supporting crowded scene. Stopped by the following Monday night and Hop's bar area is bustling with most barstools occupied. The back patio has propane heaters and more available seating. I'm curious to find out what pop-up kitchens or food trucks are planned to save hungry patrons Familiar variety of beers, like Two Amigos, the Dorsty Lion, and What You Need, with more options coming from their original Kearny Mesa brewery (which used to be Council Brewing...RIP). I had an opportunity to chat with some local patrons who appreciated the renovation improvements and upgrades. Cheers to Team Hopnonymous! Congratulations on launching a second location that is both pet and family friendly. Continued success while being involved with the community. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Festivus for the rest of us.

The vibes are unmatched. There's art everywhere and a lot of custom made bar games to keep you entertained. They are always playing sports on the tv's as well and offer a happy hour during big games. They have different food trucks that all the time parked out back. My favorite is Lucy mae's which has delicious crab cakes and Mac n cheese. All beers are crafted to perfection. You can get a flight for $17 to sample a few. And if you find a favorite like me you can purchase a sealed 32 oz growler to go. The servers are extremely knowledgeable about the beer and friendly. They were consistently checking in with me to see if I needed another round and even offered to throw away my trash when I was done eating. I will definitely keep going back. Lastly this place is dog and family friendly!

I came by Hopnonymous on a Saturday a few weeks after their opening. I ordered the Two Amigos as I just wanted a standard Mexican lager. I am not too much of a beer drinker. I spoke to Gavin for a few minutes. He was super cool and neighborly. He introduced himself immediately. I liked his openness. He informed me that their main brewery is located in Kearny Mesa off the 52. The other bartender working with him (I think his name was Loic - sorry if that is wrong or misspelled) was also very friendly and welcoming. I was surprised by how bright the inside was. Normally bars or taprooms are darker where you can hide and cannot see everyone, not Hopnonymous. You can see everyone. Inside there is a long concrete bar that can seat about ten people but can accommodate about twenty standing shoulder to shoulder. There are six tables that can seat four each. Two large televisions are mounted over the bar and in the interior corner to watch sports. The outside area is made up of nine tables for four with more area to stand around the patio. There are two heaters but bring your jacket or sweatshirt as it can get chilly. It was nice to see they allow dogs on a leash. There is no dedicated parking lot so you will need to fight the neighbors for street parking. I can see this place becoming like a Cheers where everyone knows your name.

I've been twice since Hopnonymous opened and enjoyed it. I'm glad they are open as it's nice to have a beverage spot again on the east end of Normal Heights. (I was a LMB regular prior to their demise.) The space is clean and well laid out and the staff are super friendly. They also did a great job with the back patio area including ample seating and heaters. There are also games available as well. Food is available to order for delivery from Brothers Mexican Food and Dragon Sushi across the street. (I've not tried it but it is available.) You can also bring in food as well.

Always loved Hopnonymous and this me location didn't miss any marks. Same vibe. Smaller game options. Loved the smaller version of Landslide which made for a quicker higher risk game. The vibe there is always so welcoming. Brought someone new and he felt like family. Always proud to show someone Hopnonymous for the beers and vibe.

Inside of Hopnonymous II on a Tuesday night! Was hopping at 5:30pm! Great designs on their coasters! Felt very welcomed!

We love their second location in Normal Heights! Loic and Katey are great bartenders! Very attentive and friendly AND great beer! "What you need" and "Elephant in the Room" were ours and both were fresh and delicious! Also, Brothers Mexican Food will bring over your order and their burritos went great with the beers!

I usually go for the strongest stuff because well, it just tastes better. We came during their happy hour, they have great prices for the pints, and great tasting beers. They do rotate, so if you don't see something that was on a previous posted menu, fear not, they will come back again. The interior vibes well, pretty chill tavern style bar which matches my vibe. 10/10 will come back again!

We chose happy hour since they have such a great HH menu! Everything looked good on the regular menu as well, but we went with the HH food and kids' meals. We enjoyed two orders of the cauliflower, the cheese pizza, and the smash burger with fries--all of them were so well done! Our kids wanted the mac and cheese with fruit (which came with fresh blueberries and blackberries), and my one year old had that plus a side of snap peas and carrots. Both kids loved their food and even had enough left over for dinner the following day. We also tried the "Kiwi Be Friends" drink, which was delicious! Service was fantastic. Amelia was upbeat, attentive, and even checked in with us before happy hour ended to see if we wanted to order anything else. I was so grateful for the friendly reminder! I completely see why it's called a beer garden--it is beautiful. I loved the decor, the greenery, and the covered patio with turf, picnic tables, fans, and both table and ceiling heaters. The furniture and the bar... I loved it all! The designer really took their time and did a wonderful job planning it out. As a quick heads-up on the layout, the bathrooms are gender-neutral. It's an open room with about six private stalls and shared sinks, featuring red/green indicators near the doorknobs to tell you if a stall is occupied or vacant. I am for sure coming back for the regular menu soon!

This is a great little gem for mission valley.

It was such a comfortable atmosphere for networking. The staff was incredibly friendly and didn't feel judging at all which you can get when you go to a place that sells crafty beers. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere both inside and outside. And in talking to the staff, you discover that they are happy to be working there as they are well treated. Well, I'm not really a beer drinker an IPA was recommended to me which I thoroughly enjoyed. The gentleman behind the bar took the time despite how busy they were, to get to know my taste to match a beer to me. So not only was the event good but I wouldn't hesitate to have an event here or meet with business colleagues in the future. Also a great place for a date. Yeah it's just a good place overall. Maybe next time I'd venture to try some of the food. The only challenge I have on the way I understand isn't typically a challenge was finding parking.
