By far my favorite hot pot restaurant! I started coming here at least a year ago and every time we eat out this is where I want to go. The broths are all great and flavorful, the sichuan peppercorns used in the spicy broth are a favorite. I personally love that they offer self serve white rice in the all you can eat which I don't often see at other hot pot restaurants. The staff are all very nice and attentive with water and broth refills. The soups dumplings are my absolute favorite! They always taste fresh and flavorful, the 4 per person limit makes me savor them even more. They have at least 4-5 different ice cream flavors and small cake squares for dessert that I always make room for. If you're in Longmont or North Denver and looking for a new spot to try, this is 100% worth the drive. read more

Longmont finally has hot pot! I make hot pot at home, but I love to go out for it, too. I really love that everyone can have their own flavor of broth here, and that it's all you can eat. Everything was fresh and there's a ton of things to choose from. Lots of vegetables for the vegetarian in the group, seafood for my husband and meat for the meat lover, and everyone is happy, and you can mix your own sauce to make it as spicy as you want. This is seriously the best hot pot in Colorado! Hot Pot City gave us the most fresh vegetables, really good rib eye slices, and the broths were so delicious. We love the Szechuan broth. Even better that it's one of our favorites style/cooking which is Yummy Hot Pot which we always drove down to in Denver; here now in Longmont as Hot Pot City. You have individual hot pots so you're not sharing with others and choose your own broth. Choose your ingredients from meats such as ribeye, pork belly, fatty beef, to veggies like bok choy, lettuce, spinach and cook it in your pot. There's tons of all you can eat items. What a fun dinner experience, especially with a kiddo! Everything was super fresh and they let us try the different broths before we chose which was great. They have a sauce bar where you can create your own sauces which adds to the creativity and you get to try new flavors. Service was fast and friendly as well. Wow, very fresh vegetables, excellent quality on the meats, great ice cream and superb service. That pretty much sums it up. The meats were as suggested. The fatty beef and the pork were fattier, but the ribeye was very lean. The portions were generous, but you can always get more if you want. I had the Napa cabbage, spinach, bok choy, bean sprouts, corn and udon were spot on. I had seconds of some of the meat as well as the vegetables. The broth was excellent, but the sauce bar was so good. They even have a house mix that was outstanding. I could have taken a big jar of the home made sauce home with me. it was that good. It may sound odd, but the ice cream really hit the spot. It was very good ice cream and wished time allowed to have more than one cup. Love this place and it is a favorite. read more

Went back a few days later with family again from out of town thought it would be fun again.
