The move out service included cleaning the fridge, oven, window interior, bathroom etc. The price was fair as well. The only problem was the crew got delayed at a previous appointment, and I wasn't notified (I card and texted and then i got an update). They already knew the size of my apartment and to be clear, my place was not particularly dirty as I regularly maintain it. I specifically requested a cleaning and was quoted a fixed fee in advance. However, once the cleaners arrived, the process took significantly longer than expected, and I was later asked to pay additional charges beyond the agreed price. This felt very unprofessional and honestly, dishonest. If the company already had all the necessary information about the space, the pricing should have been accurate and transparent from the beginning. I am disappointed in the response I received from Leal, insinuating that I chose the wrong service package and left misleading photos. As you will see in the new photos shared, I was never given a choice of package, and I obviously did not include falsified photos. I chose Leal Home Cleaning after asking for a deep clean of our home through Yelp's project feature(see photo of Yelp project request). A service agent then responded to me stating that the Essential package would be appropriate; no other options were given and no further questions were asked of me (see photos of this conversation and details of the package). The package clearly includes "clean microwave inside and out," "clean scrub sink," "wipe window sills," and "light dusting of blinds." I accepted the service, believing that the company had offered me the appropriate package and that they would deliver on the items listed in their package. Obviously I was wrong. It is not my responsibility to know the different packages that a company offers without being given that information. If the different packages had been suggested up front, or if the cleaners had decided after seeing the home that a different package would be needed, I would be more than happy to pay more for the appropriate level of service. Leal is true that this is a miscommunication failure, on the part of their company. Lastly, Leal believes that the pictures I took were not taken at the time of the cleaning. To that point, I have uploaded all the same photos with the time stamps included. Our cleaning was scheduled for June 30th between 12-1pm, and these were taken the same afternoon after the cleaners left. Ultimately, we have many options for housecleaning services, and I would ask everyone to consider strongly before choosing a company that gaslights its customers. I received an email from Leal prior to my cleaning taking place asking for a review in exchange for a discount on future cleaning. Had service back in June 2022 (forgot to publish this draft). Requested service by creating a project on Yelp. Leal Home Cleaning was one of the first three to respond within 24 hours. I supplied photos and a scope of work; and received a flat quote with the reply. Details were done via phone and they were able to come out within my time window. Quote was competitive with the other five quotes I was comparing against. Leal Home Cleaning had the best quote for the timeframe and level of detail that I requested. I was in need of a cleaning service after my room mate moved out and left the room and common area a mess and I didn't have too much time to take care of. I did not need the entire home clean. Just 1 bedroom and walk-in closet, bathroom, hallway, and kitchen. I used Yelp to blast a request to a handful of local businesses in the area. Only 2 businesses provided a professional response that answered 90% of my questions upfront. That is to say, they know what prospective customers would likely ask and value their time. The other business, who I won't name, was nearly 2-3x more the price of Leal (or even the cheapest option I found). All responses on Yelp's messaging were reasonably prompt. When I had to move things a bit faster, I was able to text the number provided and move get even quicker responses. Our text message correspondence was eventually summarized on Yelp which was appreciated for formality. The process is fairly simply, provide the details of the cleaning, address, email, and phone number. You will get an email to confirm the payment details which will be charged once the service is completed. You will get a 24 hour notice to confirm or change the cleaning date without a cancellation fee of about $100. On the day of cleaning, I was scheduled for arrival for 11 - 11:30 AM. No cleaners arrived so I texted the number provided to confirm of there was a scheduled cleaning still. I was told they would arrive by 12 PM as they were coming from Mountain View and they were behind schedule. They did eventually arrive around 12:15 PM. There were 2 cleaners that arrived. I pointed out the rooms they were to clean and left them at it. Prior to arrival, I tried to move as many things out of the way as possible but inevitably forgot a few things such as shoes near the entrance. While I did not expect the cleaners clean the area, they were very through moving the shoes around and eventually putting them back. My previous room mate had used window crayon's or chalk of some sort. I had asked prior if this could be clean to be clear and was pleasantly surprised how spotless that area was. I had previously asked if they would clean dried on putty/playdough stuck on the wall but was told this was not covered (most cleaning services did not want to touch this which is understandable). The walls were spot cleaned at best. I really appreciated the level of detail that went in to cleaning the Kitchen. I was expecting just a simple wipe down but the range grills scrubed and the range hood were wiped down very well. Things like my Kerig, Airfryer, Microwave, and trashcan were wiped down. The refrigerator, both inside and outside, were near spotless. There were a few spots missed on the floor when checking the bedroom. The shelving of the closet were not very well wiped. My former room mate had stained the chrome finished of the bathtub faucet which didn't get cleaned. It ended up requiring some time consuming scrubbing using chrome polish so this is unlikely covered by the cleaning service. Lastly, there were some system errors on their end (as I have been told) that delayed the invoice being sent. Overall, minor gripes for otherwise more than satisfactory service. read more

We hired Leal home Cleaning to do a deep cleaning. We had stopped our regular cleaning during covid. We were looking to re-start a regular service and a deep cleaning is a good way to try out a new company. So, it was arranged, two people were to do a deep clean with a free added service of high dusting plus we paid for extra services a refrigerator cleaning, cabinet exterior cleaning and interior windows. My husband let the two ladies in and showed them around but had to leave before they were finished. When we got home, we took a look around. They did a great job in the master bath. They were able to get the tile and grout cleaner than we'd seen in a long time. Its just way too bad that they didn't put the same effort into cleaning the rest of the house. One bathroom: exterior of shower, faucet and baseboards not cleaned. Kitchen, refrigerator (inside & out), stove top, backsplash, some cabinets, some appliances and sinks not clean. I contacted Leal, sent pictures and they arranged for cleaners to return. The return visit took care of most of this- but not all. For example: the toaster was not cleaned during the first visit. During the second visit one side was cleaned. I just have to say that while Leal was quick to respond (a plus), but there wasn't ever an apology nor did they ever check to see how they did (2 minuses). read more

Reached out to get a quote for Move out cleaning service and was contacted back by Nojah. When I was ready to book she sent over a link for my CC information, she said that it had to be filled out by 1 pm the next day to guarantee the agreed time and date for cleaning. I filled it out and didn't hear back from them, so I thought there was nothing else I needed to do. The morning of my scheduled cleaning, I reached out to confirm if I needed to be at the address and Najah told me that they did not receive my request in time, so they were not available. I told her I had sent the request, and she said something must have gone wrong, and that she would see what she can do. She was able to get me back on the schedule and got the cleaners to go at the originally planned time. The cleaners did a great job. I did not appreciate that they did make some comments in Spanish and were talking about the place and how "dirty" it was. Overall great service, really good cleaners, fast communication and accomidating. read more

I used their service for a move out cleaning of my condo. Overall the quality of the cleaning was very good. They were very thorough. The only reason I haven't given five stars is because they were very delayed in getting to my place and communication about the delay wasn't great. I had to give them a call when my appointment time came and went only to find out they were significantly delayed. And then I was texting and calling throughout the delay and often getting different answers about the status of the cleaners from different people. That being said, I do appreciate that the company gave me a discount to compensate for the delay. read more

We used Leal for a move in cleaning service- Overall they were just ok. $286, spent 2 hours doing a general clean. Fast forward a week and as I got ready to paint the kitchen, the walls were still filthy, a wet towel wipe comes away grey despite Leal advertising that all the walls will be cleaned as part of the move in cleaning service. Rinse and repeat for small areas like dust next to shelves, under the fridge, nooks and crannies in the bathroom, etc. I have been noticing more and more small things that have not been cleaned, that make me go "huh". Overall it was a decent cleaning. It was on the level of what I could have done in the same time frame, nothing more or deeper than that. Floors were cleaned well, fridge cleaned well, etc Would not recommend to a friend unless it was half the price we paid for the level of cleaning that we received. read more

I hired Leal Home Cleaning to do a move out cleaning for my 2 bedroom apartment in San Jose. Early in the morning, they told me they were running behind (which I appreciated) but didn't arrive until 12:30pm when my original window was 10:30-11am. They did a great job cleaning all of the cabinets, drawers, floors, etc. They missed the doors and door frames and after pointing it out they did them before leaving. After they left, I realized they missed some of the baseboards. Overall I had a good experience, but wish they had been just a little bit more detailed since it was for moving out of our place. I wish I was writing about a different experience here and please understand I do realize we asked for a 'Move Out Cleaning' quote mid day Saturday for a Monday appointment (a last minute request). This for a 1BD/1BA apartment. Leal was quick to respond and the price was right, so we cancelled our other quoted service (which we felt was over priced) and followed the great reviews from Yelp to hired Leal. My wife met them there right at the scheduled time and they got to work. After an hour, I started receiving messages from my wife that Leal cleaners were refusing to clean the oven because it was 'too dirty'. I reached out to Leal management and after some back and forth they were able to get the oven clean. Shortly after, one of the cleaners up and left and it was down to one person who was clearly cutting corners and as a result, my wife had to start cleaning along side them. After some more correspondence with the management, they sent an additional crew over and within minutes there was a full crew of 4 people, much more experienced doing their best to quickly finish what should have been a 2 hour job. I was very appreciative of Leal's effort to make it right and appreciated the quick communication and commitment to finish a job. When we arrived at the unit the following day to triple check the work prior to our final walk-through, we found a number of things still filthy (photos attached) and as a result will end up owing our previous landlords for an additional cleaning. To be fair they did ask if they could enter the unit again to finish the job but we have already handed the keys off to the landlord an it is time to move on. They gave a long list of items covered in their quote and a good majority of them were over-looked. I was also told that Management apologizes and will be 'sending some of the new team members to training'. Won't be using again. read more

Regarding my move-out deep cleaning job, the following was promised in the yelp message from Leal: - inside of cabinets/drawers will be cleaned. - walls will be spot cleaned - interior side of windows cleaned - garage and balcony floors swept, not scrubbed. Which I am all good with. However, yesterday during the job, here's what happened: 1) garage and balcony floor - the two cleaner ladies said garage and balcony floors are not included. Even after I show them the yelp message. - the two cleaner ladies speak broken English, I have to use google translate to able to communicate. No one from Leal cleaning can be reached - I tried all the phone numbers including the one that sent confirmation/reminder texts and no, no one answered. - I battled them for 15 mins and finally they "kindly" agreed to vacuum the garage floor. It's getting late so I paid them and left without checking the cleaning quality of my home. 2) Now today, a nice sunny Sunday afternoon, I came and found out - inside and outside of cabinets are dirty. - Toilet bowl still show yellow marks. - Walls are still having stain marks that can be easily rid of by water. - cobwebs on lamp fixture. One more thing, I don't know what happened but the cleaners left permanent scrubbing marks on my walls now. See picture - circles of scrubbing marks that weren't there before the job. again, trying calling Leal lands me no where. My tenant is moving in tomorrow so here I am, cleaning the home again when it's supposed to be clean and ready from Leal cleaning's service. I had Leal Home Cleaning come to my home twice. My first experience they completely missed cleaning a bathroom, sent people back to my house when I said I wasn't available and our nanny let them in because she wasn't aware what was going on. The cleaning of the house and then the cleaning of the bathroom weren't great. After some back and forth with Najah over email, another cleaning was scheduled at a discounted rate to "make up" for the previous experience. I emailed Najah the copy / paste list from the deep cleaning to make sure I had the terms correct. Needless to say, the re-clean to "make up" for the poor first experience wasn't any better. They did not clean the inside of the fridge or oven, they did not wipe down kitchen cabinets, I could go on. I emailed Najah about it and to this day (over a week later), I haven't heard back. Leal Cleaners is fine for standard cleaning when you just really want your house clean and have the time to get the detailed cleaned done yourself either before or after they are gone. I would not rely on Leal Cleaning for any deep cleaning, to deliver on what they say they will or good communication. Use them at your own risk. read more

I paid extra for oven cleaning and grout removal in bathroom but I didn't see much of a difference. The windows were still dirty and they didn't wipe down a lot of my furniture. I needed Move Out cleaning for a townhome and in my quest to find someone who had good yelp reviews, didn't seem defensive/combative with unhappy customers, I stumbled across this company. Not only did they respond promptly, but also gave a no-nonsense quote and a reasonable price. The crew (I think it was Marisol or Maria) came, got to work and spent 4 hours cleaning everything. I didn't go over it with a toothcomb to check their work but I was satisfied with what I saw. I had another company do the same cleaning a year ago which left me very unsatisfied. A suggestion I have for them is to give the crew a checklist and a copy to the customer. That would establish a clear set of expectations and everybody would be happy.
