**ONE OF MY FAVORITE LUNCH SPOTS IN WEST ADAMS**…read more I was in the mood to get out, enjoy some sunshine, and finally try this place that had been on my list for a while. It did not disappoint. PRO TIP: Check their website before heading over, since they occasionally close for private catering events. PARKING ======== Parking can be a bit tricky on weekends, but it is manageable. If you give it a few minutes, a spot usually opens up, especially along the nearby residential streets. AMBIANCE ========== We were greeted by Donald and shown to a shaded patio surrounded by local plants. It is a really pleasant setup and a great place to relax with drinks and lunch on a warm LA day. FOOD ====== GREAT DANE DOG The Danish style hot dog is excellent. It comes on a warm, nicely toasted white bun and is topped with super thin pickles and a tangy (I taste capers) yellow remoulade. I'm telling you, their mustard and curry ketchup are easily some of the best condiments in LA! RATING: 5/5 SERVICE ======= The food came out quickly, and Mark, the owner, stopped by to chat with us about the restaurant and menu. Kudos to his chef wife for the delicious lunch! The staff had great energy and made the whole experience feel welcoming. RATING: 5/5 OVERALL ========= A really lovely first visit, and I am already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

I've never had anything like it and I doubt I ever will again. The husband is a server who is the perfect half of their team, welcoming you with Scandinavian hospitality. All this is dishes up to you on their intimate back patio tucked away in the corner of a random West Adams neighborhood plot. I've lived in Socal for almost my entire life and even went to UCLA and never visited West Adams (or heard of it). until I was 53 years old and it was worth the wait!

Their food is affordable but definitely not as affordable as it used to be. Though, you can't beat unlimited refills on carbonated drinks when you purchase a drink. Then free tea or coffee for IKEA members. Its worth it if you go when they do "Kids Eat Free" days. It gives up to 2 free kids meal with an adult entree purchase for IKEA members. Check out their deals thru out the week. Sometimes they might have 50% off entree's. Cheesecake is SUPER SUPER Sweet and it's expensive too for like $6 and so tiny slice. I enjoy it tho with my coffee.

It never fails to satisfy any hungry shopper. The customer service is always nice and polite, so that's an automatic 3stars for us, and to add the yummy meatballs and lingonberries sauce, some potatoes, along with their little chocolate/hazelnut cake slice, and the great ice cream too.... makes this is my favorite hidden gem. ;) That's not even speaking on their shopping experience. You don't need to "need" anything, but you will always find something that you just must have! It's a great little afternoon for the family, without breaking the bank. See you next week, IKEA! ;)

We're doing a complete redo on our home office as well as kicking out our old kitchen table and…read morechairs. Frankly, when walking into this store I wanted to buy half of the items I saw...and still might! After a lot of hemming and hawing we picked out a new table, chairs and bookcase. They were set to be delivered in about a week, but after a few days at home doing some head scratching and more measuring we decided to axe the table and go with another we initially thought wouldn't fit. We worked with Santos who was very patient and helpful in changing our order (at no cost...there IS a 14 day return policy). Items were delivered and installed today in about 45 minutes. Just need the chairs to get here in a couple weeks and we're good to go. That is, until I go back and plunk down some green for that living room chair I spent a lot of time in whilst the wife worked with Santos. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Scandinavian furniture but I really love this store.

Well when it arrived in Seattle (NOT irvine), I called and they said it was in the US, so I asked if I could come and pay for it after the items arrived in Irvine. Apparently they can't do that...? So I asked what happens if there's any issues, shouldn't we be able to see it first before paying the remaining balance? Turns out we can't for whatever reason. So far it's not so great, but we'll move on. We show up to pay for the remaining balance, get all the paperwork squared away and.... they give us a postit to contact someone on gmail set up delivery. BRO LIKE WHAT?! We literally bought over $10k worth of furniture and you want us to set up delivery ourselves, after forcing us to come and pay for things we can't even see ahead of time? Good thing furniture isn't bought frequently cause I aint ever coming back here, let alone recommending this place to anyone. What's the point of employees and a showroom if you just make the customer do everything themselves anyway... sheesh.
