Ordered a pizza for delivery. Watched the update saying order received, baking, etc. Got text message from Door Dash driver (Rim) saying pizza will be delivered by 8:11 PM. Then another Door Dash driver sends me a text at 8:25 PM saying my order is taking awhile. OK, Door Dash and done this to me before. Then I get a notice that it will be delivered by 8:40 by Door Dash driver (Kimberly). Cool, Kimberly, make it happen. Then I get a notification that my pizza's been delayed again until 9:10 PM. I call the Farmington Papa John and talk with someone who gave a crap and he said he gave my pizza to the Door Dash nazi a while ago. So I cancelled the order. At 9:20 PM I get a notice that Door Dash driver (Sandy) is on her way to the store to pick up my pizza and delivery will be NLT 9:40 PM. Someone or a group of someones is pumping smoke up our four point of contact. I have been ordering pizza from this Papa Johns for years, and have only had issues with delivery for Door Dash. Don't think the problem is with the Papa John's store as much as it is Door Dash, but until one or both get their heads out of their four point of contact, I won't be purchasing pizza from them. read more

This business model is broken. Twenty five dollars for a large pizza. They charge you a delivery fee and expect you to tip, which I did, and now the pizza is taking twice as long to deliver as what they stated. Was supposed to be 45 minutes and it's already double that and still no pizza. What am I tipping for, there is no customer service and I'm paying for the delivery. Who knows when the pizza will get here. This is like pizza Russian Roulette. Will the pizza come? When will it come. No one knows. Tracking app says it's still being "prepared" for over 30 minutes after it came out of the oven. I'll bet the quality will suffer too. Literally standing in the doorway with 14 other customers. While 7 employees chat and joke. 18 min till one of them even spoke to a customer. And literally there were stacks of pizzas every where. Most of the people there waiting had the pizzas in the stacks. Meaning if even one employee had cared enough to ask. 20 ish people could have left with their food 20 min earlier. Like many businesses, this location has struggled with staffing resulting in delivery delays. Papa Johns sends an automated coupon when this happens for a free cheese pizza--you don't do anything, it just shows up in the mail. However, if you use those coupons the manager (Gavin) will accuse you of defrauding the company, invite you to never shop at this location again, and hang up on you. I can handle delays but then to be treated extremely unprofessional by management for using the provided goodwill gestures? No thanks. read more

No! Never ever again! We used to love Papa John's in CASPER, WY. But stay very far away from FARMINGTON, UT! I bought two specialty pizzas and tipped $8 on a $26 order. Shame on me. I should have looked at the pizzas first. My first mistake was having them deliver to Cherry Hill Campground. Apparently, they've been burned in the past and took it out on us. Good not great. There wasn't anything really wrong with the pizza, but it was pretty ordinary. When I was a kid, I loved papa John's. I don't know why that was but now that I have had a little more experience, I realized it really isn't any special. Let's talk about this location. I walk in, and no one really greeted me or anything. They asked my name and gave me my carry out order. It was efficient, but not memorable. The pizza was warm and tasted as expected. After waiting about 30 minutes *after* the latest estimated delivery time, I called in to see what was going on. The app had indicated that the boxing had been in progress for 30 minutes, but I was told on the phone that the food was out for delivery and that they couldn't give me an estimate. We live nearby and a few minutes later the driver showed up. I asked him whether he was out with other deliveries and he told me that our order had been sitting under the heat lamps and that he had just left a few minutes ago for our delivery. He also admitted that they don't have enough drivers working, so this was happening often. Given how expensive Papa John's is compared to every other pizza joint around, I'm very disappointed not only in the late delivery of cold food, but also about being lied to by the employee who answered my call. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We have had less than pleasant experiences twice in a row and will NEVER be ordering from this location again. The first time, they forgot an item in our order and didn't say a thing. My mother and I wanted to try somewhere else besides Dominos for once so we decided on papa johns for the night. BAD idea. The guy who delivered was very monotone and in a bad mood. Our box was soaked through with grease in one corner even though nothing was sitting in that corner? The garlic knots where good (hence the two stars). We had a $10 credit on our account, to use at Papa Johns; because the last time we ordered from them they were an hour late delivering it. This time, I decided to place the order as a pickup, in hopes that we'd be eating sooner than we had the last time. Driving to the store to pick it up, wasn't as convenient as having it delivered to my front door, but it saved time in the long-run. I don't think their pizza is anything to write home about. But I do love the garlic butter dipping sauce that comes complimentary with each pizza. It is the only reason I ever order from Papa John's. This time around, we ordered a chicken BBQ pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. Both pizza's were ready when we arrived at the store, and were piping hot. However, for pizza orders, in my future, Papa John's didn't crack my top 5. I like the Garlic sauce, but not that much. If I have time to physically go pick up a pizza, I'll to go to Little Caesars (they're more budget friendly). And if I want pizza delivered, I'll call David's Pizza, In Kaysville. David's has a far better track record of delivering in a timely manner. read more

Mediocre all around. Yes, depending on who is working shift, the staff are mostly friendly and helpful, but they're far from efficient. We normally hit up Papa Murphy's but decided to try this place (twice). Both times were subpar satisfactory. The first time, the employee taking our order lacked customer service skills and she was front desk. The second time, they totally effed up our order - we clearly expressed NO meat and white sauce in place of marinara (basically a garden pizza) - and they didn't get it right. That was a bummer since we're vegetarian AND my husband can't eat red sauce... We may consider giving the place one more time but not in awhile. I would recommend Papa Murphy's over Papa John's. That said, this place doesn't serve awful pizza, they just fall short on customer service and getting orders right, in our case anyway. read more

We have ordered from this Papa John's several times. Most of the time it has been a good experience. I enjoy their specialty pizzas, but I do like to order them well done because I don't like any soft doughy crust. I like the limited time specialty pizzas like the cheeseburger deluxe. I just wish it was a permanent part of the menu because it is so good! The garlic dipping sauce is off the charts good. In my experience with Papa John's pizza chains, a lot of them have issues in getting the order right and good delivery times. If you were looking just for a cheese or pepperoni pizza I would pass on this one, however, their specialty pizzas are worth it. read more

My mother passed away on Wednesday after several days of around the clock care, I was emotionally and physically exhausted. Instead of canceling our Saturday Christmas Party we decided to go ahead and order pizza so it would not be as much work as preparing a meal. I called earlier in the day and asked for it to be delivered at 5:45 (our family was arriving at 5:30.) When it had not arrived a little after 6:00 I called and talked to the Daniel. He said the driver had been delayed and it was just now heading out the door. I was very calmed and thanked him. At 6:45 I called again. I was told that the driver had a problem and he would be leaving soon. I was upset, I did raise my voice but I did not use foul language or scream (which he accused me of. ) I told him that we had 20 hungry people waiting and that now our other activities would be delayed. I was also upset that our $81.00 worth of pizza had been sitting around for close to an hour. He got very upset with me at that point and was yelling at me to stop screaming. Not offering any solutions to my problem. He continued to yell, telling me that they have a business to run and it would get there when they were ready. He then informed me that they could cancel my order and throw it away if I did not stop screaming. At this point I had stopped because I couldn't get a word in. I was so upset that I hung up the phone. We had no idea if they were bringing our order or not. My husband call at 7:30 and Daniel informed him that it had been thrown out, our guess is it was never made. So there we were with 20 people, 8 of them hungry children, and no food. My son in law went to the closest place, which was McDonalds, and they were able to get $120.00 worth of food out in record time and also gave us some free food because they felt so bad. We've been going to Dominos for about a year and we decided to give Papa John's another shot after they messed up an order and gave bad customer service about it a year prior. I order pizza maybe once a month, sometimes twice. We live in farmington, so Dominos is about a 15 minute drive, but the pizza is always hot and fresh. And seasoned. Papa John's is probably 5-10 minutes away. Delivery time was approx. 30-40 minutes which is cool. The driver was a few minutes late, which is fine. But I open the door and he proceeds to tell me "I just want you to know it took 36 minutes to get here, sorry if I seemed late." Uh.... Okay..... I just want you to know it took you about ten (or more) minutes longer but whatever, here's a 4 dollar tip for one pizza and being a douche. Anyway. The pizza sucked, it wasn't even hot and it seemed like no sauce rather than the extra sauce I ordered. So anyway. Pizza sucked. Driver was an ass. Oh well, back to Dominos. read more
