Just visited for my second time! I went in this time (even tho i was in my bonnet) and the staff was all so kind and understanding! Shout out to Kara and Sinead for being so polite and taking great care of me! I got the original Hot Chicken/No slaw at honey butter spice level was justttt spicy enough to let me know it was there but nothing to crazy which is exactly what i was going for! The fries were awesome yet again and this time i also tried the watermelon cucumber lemonade and it's definitely one of my favs now very summery vibes :). This was my first time inside but it was very clean and the menus are easy to read! I like the little chandeliers they had for lighting and music wasn't to loud. Owner reached out and offered to fix our first experience. I am willing to give this place another chance for how kind and professional he was. My husband and I tried this place for the first time when it was still fairly new! We were so excited to have food here, it looked so delicious... however, the portion sizes you're getting for the amount of money you have to pay is absolute BOGUS. I also ordered the honey butter in my chicken and it was plain, both of my husband's and my fries were cold and tasted OLD, like they had been sitting forever which is odd considering how busy they were, not sure if they were pre making fries or what but they would have been good had they been hot. It's a hit or miss depending on who's working... the chicken is good but, the way the staff prepared the salad they did a poor job leaving the bottom of the lettuce in my meal... i could tell the person probably doesn't care...and I've had fast food a lot and I've never had a meal prepared this poorly... rather it cold. We hardly get anything cool up in this neck of the woods, so having this restaurant feels like a huge blessing. Their chicken is always so fresh and juicy. The spices they use have so much flavor. The house sauce they have is my favorite sauce ever. It's a must try! They have a wide range of spice for everyone's taste buds. They have no spice all the way up to "Houston we have a problem" which is 2 million in the scoville scale. You need to sign a waiver to even order it. Their fries are very flavorful also. It's possible they use the same spices on the fries as they do the chicken. They have these waffles that are like no waffles I've ever tasted. The sandwiches come with the sauce, pickles and coleslaw on them. Which in my opinion is needed to balance out the spice. Unless of course you get no spice, then it doesn't matter, but the toppings compliment the sandwich extremely well. This restaurant is a must try. Call to ask for a refund and only given 9.98 plus tax back against a la Carte 25$ worth of chicken. We loved the food but there was only one person at the register and we had to wait a long time in line. However the drive-up was steady. Should have gone through the drive-up. Then, when the person taking the money and cards turned to ice machine to get drinks, she'd use that same hand to scoop up ice with the drink cup without putting a glove on or using a scooper.
