Garlic Prawns good quality but could have used more garlic, it was very light flavor..these weren't typical to the dish, more like prawns that would go in a shrimp cocktail but warm instead. We have driven by this place a number of times but never stopped in. It was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad we went. Immediately, you are greeted very friendly by the staff. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere of the day. We were told by other patrons to ensure that we got the specials menu since it had Chinese food on there. We actually ordered the chow mein along with other Mexican dishes and everything blew us away as far as the flavor. Admittedly, this is some of the best chow mein I've had in my life. It's been a while since I've been here. I went this past weekend. At first I noticed that the patio area had been cleaned up quite a bit. It looks nice. I took. My time looking over the menu & didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad & a lemonade. Simple enough. The waiter told me he'd be back with chips & salsa. The chips came in what I'd call a burger wrapper. That'd be ok if I'd ordered food to go, but I'd prefer a bowl if I'm eating there. I think they used too have 2 sizes for the Caesar salad. Not anymore. I'd say it was in a small cereal type bowl. The chicken was pounded so thin that it fell apart st each bite. It just wasn't the big crisp salad I recall from prior visits. The salad was $14 or $15 & the drink was ~$4 + tip put my total over $20. (yikes!) Is the restaurant under new management or ownership? Something's definitely changed. read more

Off top, Las Palmas gets 4 stars because of the customer service. Jorge is amazing, and his customer service will take him anywhere. He was genuinely kind, patient with all the guests, and you could see his smile underneath the mask. Incredible service. Fried Calamari was a good appetizer. The food was just ok. The Carnitas Flautas I ordered had no flavor, the guacamole and sour cream really pulled through for it. We also ordered the crab enchiladas. Again, no flavor, but the rice and beans were ok. Also ordered a wine margarita, the best I've tasted. Again, the service did it for me. Customer Service is always 85% of the grade. Jorge and the rest of his team really shined. Every time I come up to Napa for a hair cut I love to stop by this place for the Maria's Mole Burrito. The customer service is always on point and the food is super yummy. My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant here in town. I have been coming here since I was a little girl. The family who runs this place is just the nicest and the food is ALWAYS on point. They have a very large menu with not only Classic Mexican dishes and go-to's, but they also have Asian inspired dishes AND even a DELICIOUS Rib-Eye steak! Ambiance inside is cozy and inviting and the outdoor patio seating is my favorite in Napa. It is small, but surrounded by ferns and lime trees and Bougainvillea... And their drink selection!! My gosh!!! Sooooooooo many different non alcoholic beverages. Everything from Jarritos to Horchata to a good ol' Mexican Coke. And the beers??? Not only many options BUT they have a 40oz!!! Awesome food and great people! I love their Pozole, the campenchana cocktail, the 7 seas soup, shrimp and asada burrito, carne asada plate, but man the Pozole if you can get some, mm so good! I asked the server Nick there if there was any chance he could charge it so we could get some food. With no hesitation Nick said yes, looking for a charger he couldn't find one but proceeded to tell me he had one in his car. Nick very quickly came back with a charger, let us order our food in advance got our food and payed after the fact once my phone was charged. A hidden gem hole in the wall that would make Guy Fiero proud. It's mostly a Mexican restaurant but they have some Asian dishes that were put on the menu due to popular demand. We only tried the chicken mole and the chicken tamales which was more than enough for 2of us. Both dishes were great so we will be back to try the Asian Flair menu.
