Nothing fancy, but subs are anything but highbrow. Don't get me wrong, a sandwich is a culinary masterpiece, but it is definitely a food with its strength firmly in the working people and not in some castle. I opted to go with their Italian sub. It was overall a decent enough sub. Since this place was close to my hotel, it was very convenient. All in all, this was a good stop.

So we definitely had to ask for more salsa. I usually compare a Mexican restaurant by their salsa. If the salsa is not good, usually the food's not good. That wasn't the case here. Their salsa was very good. I ordered the create your own meal x4 items. I got two beef enchiladas, one hard taco and the fried flauta roll. It also came with Mexican Fried Rice and refried beans. My food was very good. I had no complaints other than being a little greedy with the salsa. My wife got the taco salad with chicken as the protein. She wasn't quite as pleased as I was with her food. She said it tasted good, but there was just way too much rice in it. She had a hard time finding any chicken. The service was good. We sat in a booth near the bar, so the bartender was taken the orders. She was quite busy trying to keep up. All things considered she did pretty good. Our overall experience was good.
