Omelet-Philly Cheesesteak, Hashbrowns and Texas toast.
    Kevin R.

The best thing about the meal was the Texas toast! The omelette was mediocre and unflavored while the hash browns were dry and bland. The customer service could also use some attention, I was treated as I was bother rather than a customer. Will not be returning.

I've enjoyed every other visit here made in the last 3 weeks. But tonight.. REALLY bothered me. It says 24/7. There is a sign up that is super confusing about hours- and delivery etc.. not clear at all. Myself and two daughters went in at 9:45 to enjoy some yummy food - stood around for 4 minutes with no one I could see, finally heard a cook in the back and asked him if we could grab a table. He came out and told me "she already closed her til"... in the meantime an older man walks in... and gets in the conversation and says "so what are you trying to say .. you won't seat me?" And laughs, the cool laughs, they both laugh, and the cool says "nope not saying that"... I'm looking confused , my daughters are looking confused, the cool looks at me like "MOVE ALONG".. so we go out.. sit in the car for a moment- see the waitress finally come back in.. and grab a menu and seat the man. I wait a minute- go back in and ask "Can we order to go?" She says "Online only"... WHAT??! I clearly see an old man sitting in a booth with a fresh drink and menu in hand ... apparently only if you're a "local" can you sit down and eat inside. Not right at all. Not one bit. Poor customer service. I think IHOP will be getting my business from now on.

I've ordered here off door dash... worst experience ever..and I know that they purposely made my food this way because it was a DoorDash order... One of the employee's put all the worst fries that you could use in my tray ( the bottom of the fryer) as if it were a joke or something... every piece was hard as a rock...so when I did call to speak with the manager , I was told there wasn't one there... I asked for a supervisor, and was told there wasn't one there.. this was after I told them what happened... they'd said someone would return my call the next day... No one returned the call.. I then called again to speak to a Manager, and was told again that there's wasn't one there... I then said wow , " there hasn't been a manager there since Sunday and today is Tuesday" ??? I was then told to hold on and that the manager was in... I was then told by sane person who picked up, that the manager is investigating????? Investigating what???, and how is the manager investigating without speaking to the customer.. they are the worst, the whole team and they will never give you or even try to give you good service... No one has called back... nice investigating sir

However, this is not the case with Lin's. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and my fiance' ordered another chicken dish on last Thursday. We were both disappointed. The "fried rice" was not like ANY fried rice I have ever had. It seemed like Uncle Ben's rice except it was yellow. There was no flavor and definitely it was not fried. The chicken tasted like what you would think broiled chicken would taste like. I even asked for "additional" vegetables which involved a surcharge. It seemed that maybe I received some extra broccoli. However, the other veggies were few. There was only a couple peas and a few carrots and mushrooms. I can pass on a compliment for the broccoli, as it was good. Spring rolls are small and cost more than they should. We do not recommend this restaurant. We may give it some time for improvement and try again at a later date but will not be returning any time soon,

I have been going for the past year, and they are consistent every time. Recently we went as a family. The vibe was amazing as usual. Warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming. The staff? Always incredible. They're genuinely friendly, super attentive, and their recommendations never miss. Now the FOOD. We ordered a mix of sweet and savory, and every single item delivered: The peach pecan streusel crêpe was pure comfort warm, buttery, and perfectly balanced with that sweet, nutty crunch. I usually get extra caramel drizzle. The French toast crêpe. Imagine your favorite brunch classic leveled up into something soft, rich, and absolutely indulgent. The Nutella and banana crêpe is a crowd pleaser, especially for kids. It's creamy, chocolatey, and just the right amount of sweetness. The turkey, goat cheese, and avocado panini brought the savory side. The flavor was great, and came with kettle chips. The drinks were just as fun and unique. The butterfly pea flower lemonade, was not only refreshing but visually stunning. We also got the mango soda and a blueberry soda, both bursting with flavor and kid approved. Everything about Café Davina just hits right. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel good, and then leave already planning your next visit. The restaurant has a cool retro 1970s vibe with vintage colors, an old cigarette machine, and Bewitched playing on the TV, which made for a unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience was a little inconsistent. We arrived with a party of four but were seated at a table with only three chairs. When we pointed it out, the host didn't seem to realize the problem at first, which was an odd start to the meal. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. She let us know they were out of the home fries and another menu item before we ordered, which wasn't a big issue. However, it took close to 40 minutes for our food to arrive. My son ordered a burger that was advertised with fried mac and cheese on top, but when it came out, the mac and cheese was missing. Only after we asked were we told they had run out. It would have been helpful to know that before we ordered. The server apologized and offered to make something else, but it would have taken another 30 minutes, so we decided to keep the burger as it was. She ended up removing it from the bill entirely, which we appreciated. We also tipped her based on the original total because she handled the situation well. The food was good. I enjoyed my grilled chicken sandwich with pear, Brie, and honey, and my husband liked his French dip. That said, we felt the prices were on the high side for the overall experience, especially considering the long wait, unavailable menu items, and other service issues. Overall, MOD Olive has a fun concept and an interesting menu, but the restaurant could have been cleaner, communication could have been better, and the value didn't quite match the price. We'd be willing to give it another try in the future, but we're hoping for a more polished experience next time.

As for me the Spicy Sausage Omelette was really really good. The sausage had a bite of heat but nothing crazy. Not sure what they used but don't stop - it was that good. We both also had Sweet Teas. We were warned from the start - they are dark and REAL sweet. Which for me was perfect. As for the service: there was one lady (dam forgot her name) taking care of all the guest and she did great. When I say taking care of - I mean everything. Bussing tables, sitting folks, taking orders, and cashing out. Again she was wonderful! The place is neat just like many have said before me. Old 80's type stuff on the walls and tables. Now let me address something that some past Yelpers clearly have an issue with. There are small indications of the owners political views within the location. Nothing crazy at all and unless you really look for it you won't notice. Some past yelpers I who clearly don't agree used this to bust down their Yelp review. That's ridiculous. If the owner wants to voice their opinion- they have every right. It's their place - with their money on the line and their time vested. They clearly treated every guest wonderfully and that's all you should really focused on. So looking for a very good meal (breakfast) at a nice little joint - go on in and enjoy. I'm sure we will be back and might even shoot for the lunch menu next time.

And downtown Suffolk is just beautiful and quaint, it feels friendly and idyllic. *Ambience: Extremely comfortable, super approachable, but also refined with lots of wood and brick, but open and airy, and lots of light. You walk in to a cocktail and bar area, with an incredible painted sign on the brick wall behind the bar, that is a total throwback. The bar is incredibly comfortable and open and warm feeling. There are hardwood tables and beautiful booths along with a private dining area in the back. Really couldn't ask for or want for a more comfortable environment. *Service: absolutely stellar, super friendly staff, our server could not have been nicer or more genuine, or had more of an "ownership attitude" as if the restaurant meant everything to her, and so did us being there. She knew everything on the menu, had great recommendations, and insured we were consistently taken care of. She truly missed nothing. Harper, the owner, came over to check on us and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. He couldn't have been nicer or kinder or more humble. Service was outstanding. *Food & Drinks: The food! The drinks! Oh man! I've been a "Yelp Elite Member" for almost 10 years and the food here at hT is near the top of all my reviews, hundreds of them. The highest quality ingredients, impeccably curated, ingeniously but simply paired, created with a true love for the art of cooking and the true joy of the consumer. This was obvious. We started with a Mainstream Manhattan and Old Fashioned from the bar. No ordinary bartender, she's a true mixologist/professional. Both drinks were excellent, no "simple syrup" used here, raw sugar cubes melted into the finest spirits, yummm! We order brussels sprouts from the appetizer menu everywhere we go and compare them. None have ever come close to our favorite, for a dozen years, until now. These were crispy on the outside, but juicy inside, flash fried to an al dente bite and finished (almost injected) with a cherry vinegar glaze that permeated every bite with sweet, tart perfection. We also started with the vibrant Camden County May Pea & Truffle Toast which was like a celebration of spring with a fresh, grilled baguette topped with fancy Italian truffle cheese (insane!), sweet tender may peas, and fresh pea shoots, all drizzled with olive oil for a fresh, earthy, and simple bite that captured the essence of this farm-to-table cuisine. For entrees we ordered the Ben Johnson's Soft Shell Crabs with remoulade and the Brown Sugar Brined Porkchop with pimp cheese, grits, and chard tomatoes with a side of hand cut fries with roast shallot mayo. Everything was stellar, no exceptions. I can honestly say this was **the best pork chop I've ever eaten, ever.** Tender, sweet, meaty and paired perfectly with the creamy cheese grits and the tang and smoke of the charred tomatoes. Ridiculously good! See my photos, too bad they don't come with "taste-o-vision", because, wow! The hand cut, skin on, double fried potatoes and roast shallot mayo were fantastic. As if that wasn't enough food, they also brought us stone ground cornbread, with a massive slab of rough salted butter, steamy, warm, soft, buttery perfection. I'm ready to go back now! *Value & Overall: I posted pictures of all menus and all prices. Their spirits and mixed drink selections from the bar are incredible. The food, service and ambience simply couldn't have been better. Prices, as you'll see, are exactly in line for what you get and an excellent value. Portions on everything were excellent and we ended up taking home quite a bit of food, which was also stellar the next day. I absolutely cannot recommend Harper's Table highly enough. This establishment, all parts of it, truly earn a five star review across the board with no exceptions. Have no hesitation, make a reservation, go, it will become an instant favorite.
