This place is soooo cozy for late evening grabs especially during autumn. It's close to the Hudson River and right across the street from Solidcore. This place is a hybrid food hall and grocery store. It has everything you need in an average market from flowers to buffet, smoothies, Asian packaged goods such as ramen, sushi, kimchi, drinks, and many more. They also have WiFi so you can bring your laptop and do whatever you want on there. Price wise, it's more on the higher side when compared to others.

A nice little market very close to the CBS studio and Riverside park. It is clean and things are laid out properly, very inviting to shop. I think the fresh meat section is either very tiny or non existent. It has more fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and cheese plus pantry items. I love the cake slices right by the entrance as they all look very good. There's blue velvet cake here! Wonder how it taste like as I didn't get it. Attached to the market is a food hall selling made to order sandwiches and other cooked food. Like a mini food court. There are both Asian and western food. You can also pick and choose your food at the buffet area where it goes by weight. As I was there early, everything look delicious and inviting. Good place to grab some food before heading to the park a few blocks away or for a quick meal if you're working in the offices nearby.

Stop in here to get a quick bite and didn't expect to see rows of buffet tables with fresh food. The food look so good and colorful. There was a guy there watching over the buffet tables so I guess to make sure people are not doing the extra. There is also stations where they serve breakfast and rice bowls. There is plenty of choices. The front is line with coffee table of different flavors. On the other side is a mili grocery area. You can pick up your food and sit in a seating area that's small and quaint.

I have to say the guys cooking on the grill wear gloves but clean with rags then touch your food. The guy with the same gloves turned over the eggs, bacon, bread, etc. You should NEVERRRR clean the counters with a rag and touch food with those contaminated gloves. That's just GROSS! Last time I order from grill.

After coming from a show taping, we passed by on this place before going to our parking garage. I liked the place. It has everything we need for a food market. It offers mixed variety of merchandise. I see that it stocks are combination of Asian, European and American goods. It serves hot food and cold food. It has breakfast, salad, soup and beverage bar. What interesting was that it has big eating area. It must be a favorite spot for employees working nearby. Location is accessible by transits. Near upper west favorite places to visit.

errands in Midtown West often require recharge aka coffee especially if it is winter and you're all the west on Tenth Avenue. thankfully Hudson Market, a gourmet market / grocery with self-serve coffee. fairly large clean modern market with grocery items as well as food stations and hot and cold buffet bar. the coffee is tucked in a small area. there are several brewed coffee bean flavors. got a small 10 oz for a caffeine kick and the coffee tasted fine as they must refresh it regularly. if you're looking for a chance to hide from din of the city or its winter chill in Midtown West as you grocery shop then this might be the spot for you.

Hudson Market has an excellent variety of hot food options for lunch. I was so impressed with their Bibim Bowl station! I ordered a rice bowl with rib eye. It was probably one of the best things I've eaten in a really long time. They also have some great items on their hot food bar. I tried the Mac and cheese which was also really tasty! The prices are a bit steep, but the quality is top notch. Fortunately, I didn't experience anything negative related to the food quality like some of the other reviews posted here.

I was looking for my friend and was able to reach him via cellphone, I told him to go into the closest store for help which happened to be health food & vitamin city. I asked my friend to hand over the phone to the only employee there so I could get a bearing on his location, I was coming from Glendale Queens NY to try and get him. I tried to explain to the employee that my friend suffers from mental issues, to please keep him there while I arrived. When I got to the store about 15 minutes later, my friend was gone. The store employee said he wanted to get to 14 st subway, so he let him go. He was found by the police in LI CITY Queens the following morning. The employee's Humanitarianism wasn't present. This used to be sweet bistro where many days and nights were shared with friends. This particular storefront is even more rare because it's not a chain and is open late, for the way working folk have needed to live here for a long time. It's not Whole Foods or Vitamin Shoppe (or whatever that chain's named), but a humble spot where the selection of vitamins, herbs, topicals and a few pantry staples probably contains exactly what you're looking for. Ask any of my neighbors what they think about your cough, sniffle or dry skin, and they'll tell you, "Go see the vitamin guy on 23rd." And you should. Because for years, he's dispensed sound counsel to a number of us whose needs aren't easily addressed by either of those aforementioned chains or that chain pharmacy who makes you summon a worker to unlock some dental floss. I'd been recovering from RSV when my husband stopped by the Vitamin Guy and told him about my lingering cough and shallow breathing. He brought home some Olbas syrup and a tincture containing a melange of herbs, half of which I was familiar as a TCM patient for a number of years. Within week one I was feeling great relief. A neighbor who'd been hit with the same condition went and had his own chat and relief success story a week after me, and unprompted, said, "Vitamin Guy saved me again!" This is but one of many ways Vitamin Guy's helped me, my husband and many neighbors over 18 years. Go see him the next time you're wondering what you can do about whatever's ailing you; he probably has some sound advice to share, and you'd be keeping the lights on amid the many otherwise darkened storefronts that don't exactly inspire confidence around greater Chelsea.
