After we sat down waiting for our order, I noticed a guy in the back literally baking bagels and moving fresh, hot bagels into bins. HOT BAGELS, people. Would it have killed someone to walk 30 feet and offer me one fresh off the line? I had already mentioned it was my first time there and how much I love a warm bagel. I totally understand they cannot do this for every single customer all day long, but when it is quiet and someone is clearly excited about your product, that little extra effort can make a huge difference in customer retention. I worked in customer service my entire life, and I always believed in going the extra mile when you can - "accomodating when you can be" is a great customer service motto!
