Adorable little house turned breakfast cafe. Very tiny with few tables so you might expect to wait if you go during peak summer season. Great service with local down home people - you can tell they genuinely enjoy interacting with the customers. They have several regulars so you know it's good! So cheap too. $5-$8 for a breakfast sandwich or eggs/bacon/hashbrown platter. We will be back.

I liked it, I did. This place has a real community feel. Everybody seems to know each other and the warmth and friendliness here is really nice. It is cash only. The place is adorable inside. We came here for breakfast several times. The food is very good as is the coffee. The only thing I did not like is there were a sort of ant invasion, including on the table which was kind of icky. It happened only once. When I alerted someone they were very nice and concerned. I liked them in spite of this and hope it was a one time thing. Prices are very reasonable. The re maybe a wait on weekends. They seem to be very popular. There is ample street parking. Their bacon is awesome..very crispy and very good.

What a great little breakfast place. The view of the harbor was something. The seating was great. Right by the window. It is so nice of a view and to enjoy a great breakfast makes it all the better. The service here is good considering the size of this place. We ordered as we enjoyed the peaceful morning. Watching a boat load up to go out fishing. Our food came of nice and hot. The best part is the food was great. Great view and great good. If that is what your after this is the best place for that.

Definitely scratching my head regarding the good reviews for Hula Moon. We came here based on the Yelp Reviews and the decent prices for the area. Well I learned you get what you pay for. On our visit we all had different sandwiches and soup. 2 of the Sandwiches were Hawaiian Chicken with Pineapple. When the sandwiches arrived there was no pineapple to be found. We asked the waitress about the missing pineapple in which she replied. "Oh you know I think I heard something about the Pineapple, let me go ask" She then arrived to inform us that they were all out of Pineapple and she forgot to tell us. She then said sorry and walked away. Yep no down charge on the sandwich just sorry. If we wanted chicken slapped between bread we would have got a plain chicken sandwich... the pineapple is the highlight of the sandwich. We also got a Pork sandwich that was so dry it was almost not worth eating. Everyone got Clam chowder as well which was basically water in bowl.. worst clam chowder I have ever had that came with stale crackers. Overall this place is terrible. Poor Service, Terrible Food, Small Portions, and just overall BAD. I'd settle for anything else in town before going to this "Hawaiian" Sandwich Shop. read more

This place is perfect for breakfast and lunch! We had the grilled ham and cheese, and it was amazing. We were planning on coming back for smoothies the next morning but our plans changed. This place is cash only, but the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this as one of your stops if you are visiting Rockport. read more

I am here for one day. This seemed like a good place it was. Smoothies were tasty and the breakfast was good. Ample portions hot coffee. They could use a few more Hawaiian items like Lion Coffee and banana pancakes, macadamia pancakes, and maybe even pineapple pancakes. This cafe is so amazing. The service is incredible and everyone here is genuinely so kind and caring. I had their breakfast sandwich and it was to die for. Everything is definitely made with love. this seems strictly like a lunch place, I wouldn't be interested in sitting here for dinner at all. There are no interesting vegan options at all. good vibe to the place, interesting decor, the people seem nice but I didn't even want to sit there eating a boring salad, so they didn't get my business. come up with some interesting veg options and I'll $pend! read more

Located with a view of Rockport harbor, Hula Moon is an intimate cafe with excellent food, service and ownership. The breakfast is always hot and tasty and served by waitresses who know how to interact with the patrons. Lunch is sandwiches and wraps and home made soups. Shaved Ice and smoothies you will want again and again. Prices you will love. BYOB and cash only. A must visit when in Rockport. Residents eat here year round so you know it's good! read more

Very pleasant and nice people...great view. The Rueben sandwich was just ok and the French onion soup was watered down. Crackers were stale and we were never given napkins or asked how our meal was. I probably won't return. I'm still hungry...portions were small. read more

I can not say enough about ho much I love this place! My boys and I had lunch here and not only did I walk away wanting to go back, but my boys raved about how it was one of the best places they have ever eaten at. It is a small simple sandwich place with the most welcoming staff you will ever come across. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and you can't beat the prices!! What a wonderful experience!! I wish to thank the owners for their wonderful conversation and for taking me back to a time were people had time for one another and really listened to each other!! I wish I was a local who could visit often, but when I am up that way again, this will be the first stop on my trip!! read more

What a cute little place! Delicious homemade soup! And a nice view of the harbor from the back. My Grandfather took me here for a light snack when I went to visit him for Easter. I guess he goes here fairly often (and he's lived in Rockport for 80 years) So everyone there knew him and were so incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's a rarity to find a place like this. I'll definitely be back in the summer to try some of that shaved ice!! read more

Had 2 hours to waste because camp dropped us off @ Rockport. Walked around, then decided to go to Hula Moon Cafe, I had the shaved ice that was watermelon and lemon lime which was ok. The watermelon was dull, and the lemon lime tasted like Gatorade. My friend got a rosted pork sandwich thing, which I tried and was amazing. Left and walked around some more and decided to go back, who could beat a 2.50 Hawaiian shaved ice in Rockport ? (not to mention it was huge!) I then got Hawaiian Blue, and lemon which 100% made up for the other one that I got. I would very muchly recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to get off the beaten path of the tourist restaurants and cafe. Bottom line just go and try the shaved ice, the price can't be beat. read more

It was a true farmhouse with a rustic atmosphere and service that felt like you were at your family's Thanksgiving. Everything sells out pretty early so if you're planning on going, make sure to plan to get there as soon as you can in the morning. We ate outside and it was phenomenal. We got a blueberry muffin and some other treats. Would definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in the rockport area!

Couple that with the beautiful fresh tomato that tasted so earthy and rich, with the saltiness of the capers... it was an absolutely unreal sandwich. I'm considering driving 6ish hours just to get another one. The blueberry muffin...no words, honestly. Service was awesome. Super friendly people. And what a cute little location. So rugged but also really nice and neat? I dunno how they pull it off but they do and I'm here for it.

Nice little place. I like the decor and the food is good. Not much of a dinner place though more of a lunch place. We were told it was Hawaiian food and were disappointed that it was a little lunch place we were expecting more. We went for our anniversary. read more
