I brought a memory card from my camera into human computer with the hopes they could restore what had been accidentally deleted. They were able to restore my card and get me back on track. The first time my laptop had a major issue I took it to Staples, after 5 days they gave it back and said it needed a new hard drive and I would loose all my files on it. John is the owner of this location and he does all the repairs himself . He helped me more than once and didn't want to charge me because it was a quick fix . ( Fan was broken ) . Went in again because I got a new build and it wasn't working and he charged me a small fee for it and I was very thankful because I was pulling out my imaginary hair over the frustration of not being able to get the computer to post . I CANNOT EXPRESS how thankful I am for John! I can guarantee y'all that he will price your repair fairly and do it as fast as possible! Every other shop quoted it me at $500+ and John gave me a $250 quote and then only charged me $218 when the work was done. My HP Envy 360 hinge had popped off and he consulted with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was happy with the end results. This review is overdue. I cracked the screen on my MacBook and when I contacted Apple they couldn't tell me much other than a screen replacement would run about 400 or more. I didn't want to drive out to rancho so I checked yelp and came across Human Computer. Based on the positive reviews I decided to give it a shot. It was taken in straight away and I was given a very reasonable quote (and was even given the option to buy the parts myself for a lower cost). I didn't want to choose the right parts myself so I let them take care of everything. 2 days later I was notified my computer was ready. The whole process was painless and the original quote was exactly what I paid. I hope I never crack my screen again but if I did I would without a doubt use Human Computer again. read more

John was attentive to what I needed: Intuit/Turbo Tax has altered their product in 2023 so that the average Windows user cannot install and run Turbo Tax. On the phone john said he had encountered this problem and said he might be able to fix it (I think he was being modest). When I brought my computer into his shop, he asked when I needed it. I said Friday (3 days later) he said ok. He called the same afternoon (Tuesday) and told me to come in Wednesday morning @ 9:00. When I arrived he had it ready for me to test his work. I typed in the product code and Turbo Tax run normally. Along with the fact that he doesn't charge an hourly rate, he is so personable and understanding. I had the pleasure of purchasing this laptop few years ago from this place. Has worked great till yesterday. My MacBook Pro would not turn on. I was freaking trying everything I learned on YouTube university. I took it to another computer shop that was near work they said they plugged it in and it did not work, that I may need a new battery or motherboard. I took my 2004 Apple Mac desktop to Human Computer, which was recommended by Best Buy, both in Riverside, California. My screen went BLACK and I could not access data. So I was hoping to get the data out. For a modest $130 Human Computer was able to RETRIEVE ALL of my lost DATA and put it on a thumb drive. My sons 7-8 year old Dell laptop had slowed to an almost stop. I spoke with HC and they stated they could fix, upgrade the laptop so it would be approximately 300% faster. Took the laptop in and was told it would need a new/upgraded drive, they would clean up the memory, remove any old spyware or files not needed and transfer any saved files to the new drive. I was quoted between $170-190. The next day HC called me and said the computer wasn't running as fast as they wanted so they wanted one more day to work on it. The next day they called and said the laptop was ready and the total would be $183. I am very impressed with HC and the work they do. I would recommend them for any computer needs.
