Every other shop quoted it me at $500+ and John gave me a $250 quote and then only charged me $218 when the work was done. This review is overdue. I cracked the screen on my MacBook and when I contacted Apple they couldn't tell me much other than a screen replacement would run about 400 or more. I didn't want to drive out to rancho so I checked yelp and came across Human Computer. Based on the positive reviews I decided to give it a shot. It was taken in straight away and I was given a very reasonable quote (and was even given the option to buy the parts myself for a lower cost). I didn't want to choose the right parts myself so I let them take care of everything. 2 days later I was notified my computer was ready. My sons 7-8 year old Dell laptop had slowed to an almost stop. I spoke with HC and they stated they could fix, upgrade the laptop so it would be approximately 300% faster. Took the laptop in and was told it would need a new/upgraded drive, they would clean up the memory, remove any old spyware or files not needed and transfer any saved files to the new drive. I was quoted between $170-190. The next day HC called me and said the computer wasn't running as fast as they wanted so they wanted one more day to work on it. The next day they called and said the laptop was ready and the total would be $183. I am very impressed with HC and the work they do. I would recommend them for any computer needs.
