Really good local area diner. Had a very nice lunch here with family. The decor is very nice. It was warm and cozy. Had the soup and salad and it was good. I ordered the Cobb salad which I found to be one of the best I have had. The new owners are very friendly and accommodating. They have a decent determination on their menu for all dinners, and serve breakfast throughout the day. I had stuffed French toast with crisp strawbeerries. My companion had their taco plate of mixed greens, which she said was awesome. The main issue we had was we needed to approach the server for the dressing to the taco plate of mixed greens, and on mine the French toast didn't appear to be full so I sent it back. Nice addition to Winfield! I have been there for Breakfast, Lunch and last week for Dinner. Could not have been more pleased. The Fish Tacos are delicious and served "picture pretty". The 4 stars are because their Air was not working when I was there for dinner. Other wise 5 stars. I will be going again next week!!! read more

The food was delicious my daughter and I really enjoyed our meal. The fish tacos were delicious I had alone with my corn with some type of cream on it! My daughter had fettuccine pasta with chicken and shrimp and she had buffalo wings it was so delicious. They also give large portions so my daughter had food to take with her. Really great service and a much smaller menu than the old owners. That means better focus to me. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served here and they do carry out too. Worth giving a try for a new twist on an old school family restaurant. They have a bar and also a kid menu. read more

Went today for lunch. Not going back. Table was very sticky. Had an omelette with pancakes. The omelette had plenty of ingredients but little flavor. The hash browns were not crispy as requested and very greasy. Pancakes very sad also. The place had decent reviews which is why I went. Went with my husband for dinner. He ordered the rib eye steak. It was so tough he couldn't even cut it up. Worst I've ever seen. Had a big ribbon of fat and gristle all through the center. Asked for medium rare but was just slightly pink. I ordered a waffle with ice cream. I will say they accommodated this request even though they don't serve breakfast all day. The waffle was good but the ice cream had a weird taste to it. Waitress was friendly but never returned to our table after food was delivered. Absolutely average or below. Needs a major renovation to erase the bad memories of the previous restaurant, Oakfields. How could the menu given us already be worn, ripped and stained when they just opened? Everything was forgettable. The options on the menu, the food, the tea offering (not Lipton, but just as bad) the decor, the music (which was a Spanish language station at the time of our visit) the attitude of the host and the wait staff. Last night I tried the hummingbird restaurant in Winfield. This location was previously the Oakfield restaurant. I had to be convinced to try this place since I really didn't like Oakfield. Boy did I get a good surprise. I had the fish tacos. The presentation was beautiful. The food was delicious.
