The first time I ever went here they had the best pita chips I've ever had. Ate them with hummus. Pretty healthy and fast Mediterranean food! I got a custom bowl; I got the couscous and spinach base. With the eggplant hummus, the green hummus (forgot the name) and the yogurt. For protein: steak. And toppings, I got the chickpeas, cucumber, tomato, onion and roasted chickpeas. It was soooo good. I also got the falafel and took alot of food home! I came here and ordered to dishes. I was on my way to Merced and had to eat. I saw them and ordered the bowl with falafel. I also got a side order of the street fries. Those were the bomb and hit the spot. My husband and I ate them in the fries and we both loved them. The bowl was OK. Veggie centered, but the hummus was meh and the balls were not so tasty. On our way back, we ordered the same but had a bowl with two types of chicken - lemon and schwarma. I also ordered a lemonade. Wow, if you want a lemonade that is good, without crappy service, skip wow wow and just come here. The lemonade I got was the passion fruit one, but it didn't have orangish globules floating in them, so that was good. Plus the street fries were the jam. I would highly recommend this place if you are in Livermore. After a tiring day of shopping, you can eat food here and I am telling you their food is HEAVEN. I have been here thrice and I have always gone home happy with a big smile on my face. Everything here is on point 100%. I got the Pita roll and a bowl this time. The selection and options here are endless and everything is delicious, great quantity and affordable. For the roll, I got the traditional hummus, feta and the eggplant hummus. For the main meat I got the Shawarma Chicken. They had a great selection of toppings and sauces. I literally wanted to get everything and the women behind the counter was really kind and accommodating. Their olives have a great taste as well, the spicy sauces are on point. The best part is that everything tastes super fresh. We even got the Lemonade, which was so refreshing and honestly that's what we really needed after walking around Livermore for hours. Once I remember the kind lady behind the counter even offered us complimentary pita chips and hummus, and omg their pita chips are mind blowing. Mediterranean food is one of my top cuisines and I absolutely love coming to this place. I hope they would consider opening a flagship store in San Francisco. I would definitely be a regular here. We had a funfilled, productive day shopping at the Livermore Outlets. We were famished and hurried over to Hummus Republic (extremely close to the outlet). We have been here one time before and had enjoyed it. You can custom make your selection. I had the Build Your Own Bowl with kale for a base, warm garbanzo beans, red cabbage, tomatoes, diced cucumbers, diced beets, three types of hummus, chicken shawarma, tahini. The ingredients are fresh, tasty, and filling. I was only able to finish half of the large delicious salad bowl and took the rest home. My hubby had the veggie pita. He said it was extremely fresh, good tasting, and delicious. When I looked over, he had already devoured it! It is set up cafeteria style. You walk down the line choosing your fresh ingredients, the staff adds it onto your order and you pay for it at the very end of the counter. There are maybe 8 tables and counter space to sit down and enjoy your delectable meal. The atmosphere is family oriented, the place is clean, organized and tidy. The staff are all very nice, polite and have a great customer service attitude. Parking is plentiful. Very disappointed with our food and service. We were traveling to Napa and stopped to charge in Livermore. We noticed hummus republic and were ecstatic because we love Indian food. The staff preparing our orders were super patient with us and let us try some samples so we could order the best option for us. I was torn between a wrap and a bowl and I chose a bowl but don't think I could go wrong either way. The lemon chicken was straight up FIRE and my husband also loved the steak he chose. Hummus republic for Friday dinner! First time trying this place since I was craving something different. I ordered two bowls ($31) online for pick up. One was with the Moroccan steak and the other one with chicken shawarma /falafel. Both bowls looked very fresh and the colors were super vibrant. To be honest, the food was mediocre and I was a bit disappointed. Both bowls came with a warm pita bread. I ordered the bowl with half chicken/half falafel. Before I even took a bite, I can already tell my bowl had NO falafel and they forgot my eggplant hummus. Ok fine, I wasn't too thrilled with that but I should have at least have some chicken in there. Yes, my chicken was there but they were SUPER TINY PIECES. Like the size of a bean. My husband's Moroccan steak bowl was the same- about 5 tiny pieces of beef which they charge an extra $1.50. He tasted it and said it didn't taste like beef....I think they gave us the vegan beef. If you're charging $13-$15 for a bowl, please at least give enough meat. Thank goodness for the hummus and tahini sauce because the bowl would be super dry. I didn't want to drive all the way back so I just left it as is. It was a good bowl but I wished they were made correctly especially since it's not exactly cheap. When I went to pick up, they were not even busy. If I come back next time, I'll order it at the restaurant rather than online to make sure the food is correct. read more

We ordered a few things to try the place out. The lamb/beef in the wrap was very dry and had a weird aftertaste. It was very salty and possibly seasoned with Lawry's or steak seasoning? I don't know, it tasted odd to both of us. The chicken shawarma was kind of spongy and bland, just a strange texture for chicken. The hummus didn't taste good at all, and the serving was literally a tablespoon. The falafels were stodgy and solid, like golf balls, and tasted overwhelmingly of cumin - like it was the only spice used. The pita chips were the only edible item. We love Mediterranean food and I've been eating it since 1972, but I've never had anything this bad. read more

Nice, clean, new Meditteranean "Chipotle-style" restaurant. It's part of a chain of about a dozen restaurants. Limited outdoor seating. The servings are very generous, and the ingredients are all high quality. I had a spinach wrap with falafels which was very good. The spinach wrap was specially excellent. The falafels were large and tasty, but a little mushy for my tastes. My wife chose a bowl with half chicken shawarma and half mushroom shawarma. She found the chicken shawarma under-seasoned, and would have just the mushroom shawarma (which she really liked), next time. The prices were reasonable and the portions were large, so the meals were a good value. We'll probably be back before long. read more

I think i just found my go-to spot for healthy Mediterranean eats!! It feels like a Chipotle but for Mediterranean cuisine. There's a selection from base, to protein, to toppings and sauces. I love the customizable aspect of it, plus they don't limit the toppings! I also really like that they let you choose 3 hummus/sauces (i looove saucy food). I've been twice now and can see myself continuing to come back. I've ordered - Bowl either falafel or schwarma chicken (both good choices) spring mix spicy, eggplant hummus, and tzatziki all the toppings Garlic jalepeno & lemon olive sauce.. This comes with a pita too if you want. For $15 and I split the bowl in 2 meals; so so good and tastes really fresh and the flavors work really well together. A hidden gem in Livermore! We LOVED this place. The selections, options and flavors seem endless. We arrived after shopping in the center and we're almost settling on Subway. So glad we decided to give it a try. We both got wraps. There were 6 choices of hummus! I did 3, traditional, spicy and feta. Amazing! For the base, I did couscous and spring mix. For the protein, I did half lemon chicken and half chicken shawarma. They also had a ton of sauces and toppings! I legit wanted to try everything. The woman who was helping us was courteous and accommodating. After we got our food, we each got a lemonade from their selections of different ones. I did passion fruit and he did watermelon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PASSION FRUIT! So good! When we sat down, the woman again offered us pita chips, hummus and falafel on the house! We were shocked at how much of a deal this place was.
