Great sandwiches! Sandwiches are large portions without being skimpy on anything. The fries and tater totes were also surprisingly really good.

Located right by Santa Clara University, there are several tables for indoor seating and a few outside as well. Provolone Italian sausage philly (3/5): a bit too oily. The Italian sausage was very flavorful though. I wished there was a bit more cheese. Nonetheless it was pretty good. Service was quite slow. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes for our food. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Hungry Hound is alright. The price is a bit high for the service and food you get.

Bad prices online the prices are not accurate and even at the restaurant it says the burgers I got are $10.00 plus fries and apparently the total is $50. What in the fuck is that. Rude owners and bad service. Place is run down asf also. Also when others walked in they ordered so much for than me and only were charged $25. ALSO DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER AND YOU GIVE ME A 1 PATTY BURGER ON A SANDWHICH BUN!

My family and I love this place! The portions are huge and the folks running this place are so nice! Very friendly and down to earth. Everything we've ordered has been delicious!

Not my first time coming here but this review has to be made. I was placing an order to eat in. I was greeted by Vonya, who asked what we would like. I told her my plate which was followed up with my S/O ordering their plate. Without hesitation, Vonya says, "Your total will be _____." Caught off guard, my S/O stops her and places an order for a side of the corn on the cob. Again, immediately after, Vonya says "Your total will be _____." We begin to get annoyed and then say we want to order drinks too. We tell her which drinks we want and AGAIN for the third time, without missing a beat, "Your total will be _____. If you would like to leave us a 5 star review on Google, you can get your two drinks for free." After being rushed multiple times by her, we staunchly refuse and say, "Not today." I pay, we take out number and drinks and we go to find a table. We came at a busy time and only a couple tables in not-so-optimal spots were available. We spot a table that is more comfortable for us, but it hasn't been bussed yet. A gentleman comes up behind us, and says, "I can clear this for you." He stops what he's doing, takes the dishes and as we go to set our stuff down, he goes even further and says, "let me wipe that table for you." All I can say to this is, THANK YOU ERIK. After witnessing that start contrast between service, we enjoy our food. Close to the end of our meal, my S/O sings praises about the corn. I ask her if she would like me to order more corn for us to take to-go. She could not resist. I go up to the counter to order, and am met by Vonya. She says, "Hello, are you ordering for here or to-go?" I tell her "to-go. I just want to order two orders of the corn on the cob please." I am then met by the driest sigh she could have ever let out in front of me. "Your total will be _____." I pay, take the receipt, and she says TO MY FACE, "we will call your name when it's ready." I go sit down and wait for the corn while we finish up our meal. Our table is right next to the front counter. We can see the side where the to-go orders are placed for pick-up. 20 minutes goes by, and I see Vonya place a bag down on the counter. WE MAKE DIRECT EYE CONTACT, as she physically TURNS HER HEAD TO LOOK AT ME, and says nothing. I remember what she said to me. They will call my name. I sit for about 5 more minutes. 25 minutes for some corn is ridiculous, right? Has to be. I go up to the counter, speak to a different gentleman, and ask for a follow up on my corn. Vonya steps in behind him and says "oh it's over there on the counter." It was the bag I watched her place down. I think at this point, when I come back, if I'm greeted by Vonya again, I might just leave and try again later. Or just ask for someone else.

Not much room to stand either. The restaurant itself has a nice esthetic. After sitting down we ordered our food and drinks. I ordered a dry aged steak. It was not cooked medium rare and there was ZERO flavor. This was by far the worst steak I've had at any steakhouse. I sat there for some time hoping the waiter would come over so I could ask for a butter or something to add to it. The waiter never came by to check on our food, not once. Never came by to ask if anyone wanted a refill or another drink order. My boyfriend was done with his dinner by the time the waiter came after I flagged someone down. I told him about the steak and I asked for truffle butter. The butter lacked truffle flavor and definitely not worth the price. 2 stars only because my boyfriend's chicken dish was actually quite nice. The flavor was rich and I haven't had anything quite like it. Overall, just a complete disappointment. I've never had such a lack of service from a restaurant like this. There are much better steakhouses in the South Bay than Mastro's.

The ambience definitely creates a nice mood for dining. Since I was there to eat--not to celebrate anything and not particularly concerned about the cuteness--I paid more attention to other things: the spacing between tables, which felt a little too tight and close together; the service; the seating; and, most importantly, the food quality. The staff were very attentive and gracious throughout our visit. The Korean Pork Cutlet was juicy and delicious. It was a generous portion--easily enough for two people. It came with a delicious corn soup, potato salad, and several condiments. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the American Wagyu Steak with Cheese Dip. I ordered it medium, but the meat was so tough it was like chewing leather. Definitely not what I expected from a Wagyu steak. Would I go back? Probably not for a while, unless I was looking for a place with a fun atmosphere for a celebration. For me, good food comes first, and unfortunately, the steak experience left me questioning the quality of their other beef dishes. And I'm a beef eater!

We really liked the salmon and burratta. Lobster bisque was ok - it was bit salty and wasn't as creamy as we would like it to be. The mushroom pizza didn't really have the flavors we would have liked it to - it was loaded with a lot of cheese and the flavors of mushroom and basil were subdued and we couldn't taste much of the truffle either. Overall we were 50-50% content with the food. We loved the ambience though. There are lots of parking space so always a good option for that. I would love to give it another shot

Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level. If you're in Willow Glen and you don't eat here you have missed out on a wonderful experience. Be kind to one another
