So we all ordered and I went over to sit down. I had to rearrange the tables and chairs. So we could fit a few people. So now we wait. For 4 sandwiches and a salad it took over 1/2 an hour. For that I will say the food was hot and fresh and very good. Some things that I noticed will now be discussed. For dine in this is mostly a place for couples. Not much seating area. There can be a bit of a wait time for your food, might be better to call ahead with an order. Another note is that the menu is mostly just sandwiches and a few salads. When you order a sandwich that is what you get no sides. With all of that out of the way, I will say the food is very good. I may be back but I would definitely order ahead and just get it to go.

If I start getting oil vinegar on my sandwiches, which I always do, but by the time I get home part of it soggy and I cannot stand soggy bread, but that's my fault clearly. I think I'll just eat it there. The ladies were good crew super friendly, super quick on top of their a game. That ambience there is super chill and the sandwich is always good. The buns ended up being pancake-flat...born plump, then losing much of their baby fat under the mini-tanning salon. But the sandwich tasted decent, so maybe it wasn't as old, wrinkled, and decrepit as, for example, myself. The spice-less waffle fries were bland as elevator music so be prepared to dip them in Hatch sauce (blend of mayo, mustard, and hot honey). Mac & cheese arrived in a good sized cup and was very filling, but it amounted to mushy overcooked pasta drowning in a mudslide of Cheez Whiz. Al dente it was not...more like al stracatto. If they put a macaroni and biscuit combo on the menu, it could be called 'Limp Bizkit'. Drinks were mostly Coke products, but surprisingly the home made lemonade and strawberry dragonfruit drinks were very good with organic lemon pulp, organic juice, organic cane sugar. Inside, there's a digital menu board that changes every few seconds and there will be some decent finds. A two piece tender, fries, drink, and biscuit combo was being offered recently for a mere $5 (normally it's $8). So if you're hungry and gassing up at a Rebel station where these Hatch Chicken locations are, you could do worse than to grab some tenders or a sandwich there.

The Mac and cheese was a surprisingly big portion for a combo and very creamy with corkscrew noodles that had a good texture. I can see why all the reviews sing its praises, it was delicious. The combo came with a biscuit that was fluffy with crispy edges (my fave) and covered in a sweet butter coating which though looked weird was delicious and the perfect complement to the rest of the meal.

We were not given an option to include one it was automatically added at the rate of 22%. In the totals line it is shown as a SERVICE CHARGE. The explanation in the receipt states as follows: ' Service Charge? This is not an additional fee, the total here is the tip you gave to the team." Shouldn't I as the customer be given the option to provide a tip if I choose to do so? This is automatically added and I bet most people don't even bother to check that it was added. There was no service provided. I was unable to dine inside the restaurant so I'm not sure why this is automatically added. I'm now curious if they do this at all locations or just this one. So let this be a BEWARE to their customers. They also had a TIP cup out as well. I was curious if this was also applied to drive thru orders so I went thru and purchased an item to see. I was not charged an AUTOMATIC TIP going thru the drive thru. I wonder if this is an option the cashier pressed or is it done automatically for all orders. I will also be letting corporate know about this as well and won't be back to this location. If this is a corporate policy I won't be back at The Habit as I should have a choice.
