Ate here for dinner after visiting The Galleria Mall. It is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Inside is a modern, comfortable vibe, whether you are grabbing a drink at the bar or sitting down for a family meal. Started with the fire-roasted brussels sprouts, which were definitely fresh, but overall lacking in flavor. The entrees, on the other hand, were delicious. Plenty of options on the menu for everyone, including vegetarian/vegan. Service was fast, and the dessert went faster than I could pull out my camera.

Amazing food! Every bite was fabulous! Don't miss out on this gem! Beautiful place. I don't know what they put in those mimosas but they were sooo good!

We enjoyed trying out a new restaurant today--Hungry's on Woodway. We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The vibe was relaxing. My only small wish is that they served real sweet tea. Not with packets--it's just not the same. That little touch would have made the meal absolutely perfect.

The new Hungry's location is arguably there best yet. The decor and ambiance present a cozy and warm vibe with modern elements seen through out. Whether you are hosting a cooperate event or spending time with friends and family, Hungry's will live up to the occasion. While the restaurant continues to evolve, the patio is turning into a spot I can see myself using frequently. The key is managing Houston's unpredictable climate. I've seen a few harsh reviews suggesting poor service experiences. For those I say, several of the service staff are young professionals with a mix of seasoned elites. If your expectations are not being met I encourage you to voice your concerns to management. Allow them the opportunity to make it right. If that fails then by all means voice your concern or opinion. That goes for any establishment. Gerald, is a creative and talented bartender. I would encourage all bartending staff to listen to his expertise. The Smoky Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini are the best. I also recommend the Spicy Pineapple Margarita and other House Infused mixed drinks. Antonio, Edgar, Mateo and Genesis deserve special recognition for their consistent well received service. They always go above and beyond to exceed expectations. My personal favorites are as follows Food *Hummus *Brussel sprouts *Crispy chicken dinner is a must *Crispy chicken sandwich *Chicken kabobs *Mushroom, pepperoni pizza with cauliflower crust *Margarita pizza Negatives: They HAD the absolute best house made fries. While the current version tastes fine the originals set the restaurant apart. For that reason I would consider the fingerling potatoes as an alternative.

Thirsty?s - that should be a better name. Or perhaps Grumpy's. Pluses 1. Big outdoor patio and easy free parking, casual rustic ambiance. Areas to improve 1. Service sucks - our server was Legacy and she took our order and did not return. I flagged two different servers to get more ice tea and our check and nothing happened. I then grabbed my two empty teas and flagged the hostess through the open window in the patio who then asked the bartender to bring us ice teas. Then, voila Legacy came back with our bill. We were very thirsty the entire time because it was very hot outside despite ceiling fans on. And grumpy we both felt... 2. His kabob meal listed veggies but didn't specify broccoli, which he hates. 3. My gyro plate was very salty and dry, do not recommend. 4. Music was loud and weird Tax and tip over $60 for brunch, expensive and the most lousy, inattentive service I have had at any establishment in Houston. Not recommended. Remember you will stay Thirsty! And perhaps Grumpy's when you leave.

We decided to celebrate our friend birthday here for brunch. We decided to sit outside since the weather was a bit cool and so that we could have a bit of privacy since it was a party of 11 of us. Our waitress Ruby U. Was absolutely amazing. So take care all of us by herself. Anything we needed she was prompt to accommodate. I had the beet juice and an egg sandwich. The food was delicious! The service was amazing and the restaurant was very nice and clean. Plenty of parking and great food options.

Great brunch with large portions. I love their lentil soup. I could eat it every day. I have had just about everything on their menu except the plant based bowls. Everything has great flavor and is delicious. My one critique is the kabobs. Mine were well done and tough. Probably a good idea for me to specify how I want it cooked, but I wasn't asked so I didn't know I had a choice. I will do that next time. I mean no restaurant gets everything right 100% of the time. I sit at the bar to eat and Stephanie is the best! The entire staff is great. Also, for the amount of food you get the prices are pretty reasonable. When they go up, which I'm guessing they will, as I understand they are getting a new menu, it may finally be the impetus for me to eat at home! One more thing...their cauliflower crust pizza-you truly cannot tell it's not regular crust. Just typing this is making me HUNGRY and I may just have to go again today, making it 2 days in a row,

The best black sesame latte in Houston…read more I'm always looking for black sesame flavored drinks ever since I tried it in Seattle, so I was excited that TwoTone had it. The nuttiness of the sesame goes SOOO well with the espresso taste and it's a good creaminess too. I also like the texture of the bits of sesame seeds in the drink. The aesthetic of the cafe is modern with street-style flairs, it's a really cool space. I also love that there are Filipino flavors on the menu like ube and pandan. Most workers are super nice and say your name like they know you. They're also super attentive to ensure that everything with your order is perfect. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we got a menu while in line! The weekdays seem to be better for wait-time, with little to no wait. The weekends however are packed and usually have lines. If you're not a line person, I would definitely come on a weekday. TwoTone is probably the best specialty coffee you can get in Houston, especially in terms of Asian flavors and creaminess. If it was closer to inner Houston, I would probably come here everyday.

My first visit was a 1star but I gave it a second try because a friend asked me to…read more I was told that this was an amazing new coffee shop and just happened to be on my route to work. It's off the feeder road of I-10 and in an inconspicuous place. It's a retail space and at first glance it looks empty and kind of shady granted, I was there around 7 AM. It may be busier and more lively later in the day or on weekends. In any case I pulled up and I saw their sign, but I was kind of concerned that it was closed because you couldn't see through the windows and again the parking lot just looked empty . I went to the door and went in. It's a very minimalist space and the decor of cold concrete floors matched the attitude and personalities of the people working that day. I was never graded, and there were a couple people sitting, waiting for coffees... There was no menu to be seen at first glance but I have a very simple order that I had in my mind because I like espresso and not sweet sugary drinks. I walked up to the register and there was a young girl who just looked at me like I was bothering her her by being in front of her. She never smiled, and she just waited for me to order. I told her good morning and she replied "Morning"...barely opened her mouth, not welcoming (or sincerity) and no smile. My order was simple.: three shots of espresso, 2 ounces of half-and-half and caramel drizzle mixed in the espresso. She looked at me weird and said ...so you want a latte? I said no not at all because I only want 2 ounces of half-and-half. I don't want all the milk of a latte. She didn't look down at the computer and kind of looked behind at a barista, and then looked back at the computer and said we do our shots in doubles .... Meaning she wouldn't give me only three shots I had to buy four. I thought that was interesting since other local shops indulge me without an issue, but I agreed to four shots. She asked me if that was it and I said yes..... I was very surprised but paid over $10 for my order of one drink! I paid because honestly, I was already ready to get out. I paid and I waited about 15 minutes for my coffee, even though there was only one person waiting for their coffee before me. I got my drink and left before tasting it. It was awful. The pull was not done well and the coffee tasted almost sour. Ugh. I was so disappointed. The very next day, my coworker said give it another try maybe it was just an off day . She also said she'd buy my coffee to make up for it so I couldn't turn that down This time I went a little bit later there was about three people in line before me. They had a lot more staff working probably about five people in total versus three the previous day. There was a different girl to front who took my order and was the total opposite of the lady the day before; bright eyed, kind and very welcoming. My coffee was still over $10 and this time it took me 35 minutes to get my coffee. I don't know if they had DoorDash orders or what, but I couldn't understand why there was a lot more workers and it took double the time to get my coffee. Once I got my coffee, it did taste better than my first visit, but still had a little bit of sour taste... Not as much as before though. Even if it ended up tasting better, I could not validate paying $10 for my coffee and waiting up to 35 minutes for it.. Especially when I can go to any of my other local coffee shops that I normally frequent for a less than $5 coffee (that only has three shots that I want) and the great service and flavor is always consistent. I never want to see any business fail. So I hope that the owners will discuss the importance of consistency in making their product, as well as being hospitable. There are so many coffee shops in Houston that one could choose from.

I only got to stop by and do some work here for a little bit between an appointment and dinner…read moreplans, but my experience was good! This is a great spot to get some solo work done or meet with a group. It is not too loud, and they are located within a strip so parking is plentiful. Their menu had a wide variety of hot/cold drinks and sweet treats that you'd typically find in a Yemeni coffee shop, all reasonably priced. The pistachio latte was good, nothing extra memorable but it was what I was looking for in the moment. Keeping this place in mind next time I plan to work remotely from River Oaks (:

Iced pistachio latte ($7.50) - This latte had a strong pistachio flavor and had almost a buttery feel to it. I really enjoyed it and it was one of the better pistachio lattes that I have tried. Dubai chocolate ($6) - This consisted of a large milk chocolate bar filled with rich pistachio cream and kataifi (crispy shredded phyllo dough). It tasted amazing and much better than most places selling these. Pricing was reasonable. Overall I enjoyed my latte and dessert. The interior has some Yemeni decor and there is quite a bit of seating. The only negative is that I wish they had more sweet and snack offerings.

I love going to coffee shops that have my name in them ;)…read more No but for real, Yemeni and Turkish coffees and teas anyways hit the spot. Pair that with my love of pistachio, and you've got a match made in heaven. This place looks ethnic, modern and clean. There's a painting of a woman on the wall who stares over us as we eat cake. We were lucky enough to come on a gloomy afternoon, my favorite a way to go to a coffee place. I tried a multitude of desserts, and they were all good. We also had four separate drinks, and they were all good. The cheesecake, milk cake and honeycomb bread were all good. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Overall- would definitely go here again!

We really did appreciate his rundown of the menu. However, the iced Mufawaar was VERY watery much to our disappointment. Very much everyone in my group's least favorite. The lotus milkcake (not shown) was delicious Interior I will say I was impressed at how big the space was. Very clean, ideal for some work / study.
