    16oz Guinness pour...

Guinness was good, bartender was very quick and nice. Unfortunately, they're charging $10 for a baby pint... beware.

Cute little pub-like restaurant! Went for St.Patrick's day and service was still very quick! Great bartender and even better food!

Service was quick and attentive. Its an old bar that's been open since the 1800s and looks nice. The food was pretty good. The cod didn't have much flavor on its own but with the tomatoes it tasted very good. The steak was cooked true to medium and it needed a little salt but overall he was satisfied with it.

In and out in 30 min with simple chicken fingers and fries. It was ok. Lacked flavor. Right near our Broadway theatre which was what we needed.

For a little bar/pub, I found it to be pretty great! There was no wait on a block with so many theaters. The service was rather quick and efficient. The food was kinda exactly what I thought it would be. I was in the mood for bar food and it didn't disappoint! I'd definitely go back before or after a show!

Took a chance pre-theater and we were not disappointed. Hadn't made reservations anywhere, and we were walking by (as we had dozens of times before) took a look at the menu, and figured that everyone in our party could find something to satisfy them. The hostess was lovely, and gave us a round table upstairs with a view of the street. Service was prompt and our server was very helpful with menu questions. The table agreed that the fried calamari was some of the best we've had in a long time. The chicken Caesar salad had warm sliced grilled chicken and was excellent. Nice variety of desserts and prices aren't too out of control.

This place has along bar but we sat down at the end . At first we got menus and I ordered the Stella in the Stella Glass . The menu is very huge here . They offer a pre fix Theater menu for under $50 . I ordered the Ruben sandwich on rye bread! It comes w/ Russian dressing, sauerkraut. And a side of fries , or chips as the say . My friend ordered the shrimp tacos. W/ blacks beans and rice ! You get 3 to an order! We then proceed to get there chicken wings which come 10 to an order! Blue cheese is there dip! The wings could have used one more turn for the sauce to go in the wings , but otherwise it was great! The place is very nice it's has a mongany bar . Lots of booth . This bar goes around w/ 2 separate entrances to go in ! The bartender was great here w/ serving us too! Lots TVs for games here to watch .

Pretty standard NYC bar, all pretty & decked out for the holidays

Perfect place to wait out a storm before heading to Longacre Theater before a show. Pricey, sure, but everything is in this area. Also, super clean unisex bathrooms, signature cocktails & excellent wait staff & bartenders, so I hope that some of that extra cash patrons fork over is passed along to them-they truly made the experience superb!

We had a great time here! Drinks were great and cold. The staff was very good. The food was pretty good. We enjoyed our experience here. It was a nice place to go before the show and we thought that everything we experience to is pretty tasty.

I love this cozy bar. The place was dressed up for Christmas and had a nice vibe. Overall the food is pretty good for bar food. The soft pretzels were amazing and the mustard and beer cheese were fantastic. The pub burger was good too and they even cut it in half for us and served onto two plates since we were sharing it. I liked the French onion soup as well, which was decadent and flavorful. I was hankering for a warm cocktail and they offered to make me a bailey's coffee even though it wasn't on the menu. It was just what I was craving!

Exterior...they even have outdoor dining...great location...cool saloon style bar & great restaurant opposite the bar!

Good location. Might have been the worst Reuben sandwich I've ever had. The corned beef tasted - funny.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

It's super affordable for NYC, but still delivers on quality. Everything feels simple, satisfying, and done right. We ordered the burger and fries, wings and fries, plus a margarita and a mojito. The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. The Grizzly Pear is close to so many things, making it a great stop before or after exploring the neighborhood, catching up with friends, or heading to another spot nearby. The service really stood out too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Grizzly Pear is a great go-to if you want good food, decent drinks, a cool atmosphere, and fair prices all in one spot. Definitely a place I'd come back to again.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend.
