They let me know that If I supplied the water heater, they could install it for approximately $700.00 - but it was obvious that I wasn't in a position to pick up a water heater on my own. They returned with a Rheem (approx retail cost $750.00), which didn't fit on the elevated base correctly - part of the heater now hangs over the edge. The job was completed in two and a half hours. When I calculated the costs of the job, I assigned $1,000.00 to parts and supplies, which left a $1,425.00 labor cost. For a two-and-half-hour job (which included the time spent picking up a water heater), the hourly labor cost was $570.00 for both Alfred & Tobie, or $285.00 an hour each. IMO, the costs were excessive and I felt that I was taken advantage of due to the situation. I contacted Bryco, but I never heard from them.

The remodel took over six weeks, and during that time we were displaced from our bedroom and had to move into a spare room upstairs. Recently, I noticed the caulk around the bathtub seal was coming up. It took more than two weeks for someone to come out, and the repair itself took only about five minutes. Instead of handling it as a courtesy, I was told the work had been installed in January 2024, the warranty was only for two years, and I was a few months outside the warranty period, so technically I should be charged got a $150 service call. While he were here, one of the toilets they had installed also needed a very minor adjustment inside the tank. Again, I was told I was just outside the warranty period and would have to pay over $150 for a service call for what was essentially a two-minute fix. I understand that labor is not free, and I respect that service companies have to charge for their time. However, after spending nearly $40,000 with this company, I expected at least a little courtesy and goodwill for such small, quick adjustments. Instead, I was met with a rude attitude and a complete unwillingness to help unless I paid another service charge. My biggest issue is not just the warranty cutoff. It is the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer care after we spent so much money with them. The experience felt very transactional: take the money, then refuse to stand behind the work in any reasonable way once the big project was done. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again, and I would strongly encourage others to be cautious. Get every warranty term in writing, keep all documentation, and be prepared for them to request proof and charge service fees even for very minor issues. Or just avoid them all together and don't do business with them. Buyer beware.

My water heater pilot stopped working. So I contact them, they ask what make/model of heater, then they connect me to this plumber that (as it turns out) doesn't have the part. Amigos Plumbing orders the part (over speaker - both acknowledge for an overnight delivery) and three days later - no part. Thus, no hot water. What does the Amigos Plumbing have to say about it? Pretty much "oh well, you're stuck". Also the telltale line crappy customer service uses (from a manager of all people): "What do you want us to do about it?" /boggle Really? SInce they took the pilot assembly with them, they're right - I'm stuck. Bottom line, I should one star myself for just not doing it myself. I doubt the assembly needed replacing, but we'll never know because I don't have positive control over the part anymore. I had a car mechanic and an older Suburban. If they didn't have the part, they contacted nearby parts stores and other mechanics and bought the part from them. I guess they can't bring themselves to look around...or even call the manufacturer and get on their case for failing to deliver on the promised time. Just..."Oh well".

Danny quickly solved the problem by putting in extra effort to dig around the box and found a faulty valve that apparently everyone else was too lazy to dig up. Instead of up-charging to do a bunch of unnecessary gimmicks or sell us a new system, he replaced the i expensive valve and was on his way. It's such a relief to have our water working properly again, and to know there is a skilled, honest plumbing company. I will definitely use them in the future.

From start to finish this has been hands down the worst experience with a plumber that I have ever…read morehad. I have multiple properties and I have used several plumbers in the past 30 years. I have never reviewed a single one that I recall. This should be renamed rapid payment. I called Joseph about a gas leak at a rental property on September second. He said he would need to to a test but would need to be paid before he even came to the house. I paid the $385 right away. He came out right out and confirmed there was a gas leak. He told me CPS would move the gas meter from my back fence to the house for free and that would save me a lot of money. He said it would cost $4500 to replace all the pipes from the meter to the three appliance cut offs, bring the water heater up to code and we would wait for the city to move the meter. After he got the $3500 deposit, he told me it would be several hundred more because he needed to remove the water heater from the pantry so he could get it up to code. He also told me I needed to drill a vent hole in the floor, supply a cutoff, and drill another hole for the water heater drain. I ended up removing the old water heater myself and giving him the $10 gas cutoff he requested. He ended up doing the rest. The work done by his workers under the house was crazy. Behind the stove and water heater where there was once a small hole, there was now a large hole several inches in diameter and to top it off it was the old pipe and not new pipe that he promised. When I pointed this out he said it would cost several hundred more to put in new pipe and and there would be much larger holes in the sheet rock. I said no thanks. We wait several days for CPS. They came out and told us it they do not move gas meters for free and it would cost several thousand dollars. I told Joseph and he just said that well they used to do it for free. He then said it would cost normally six thousand to run the new gas line but "I have extra material from another Job" it would only cost $4500. I then got other bids and one was $3500. I gave the job to Joseph to avoid having two plumbers do the job with two different permits. What a mistake. It took several days with several cancellations by him. I found that once he has his large deposit, he is in no hurry to do anything. The inspector told my resident that the water vent pipe that Joseph replaced was dangerous and needed to be done correctly. The pipe (sheet metal) had gaps that should not be there. I told Joseph and he said it was fine the way it was. I ended up replacing it with a new pipe. He finished most of the Job on October third: one month after I first called him (this included about a week of waiting on CPS to tell me they would charge me for moving the meter). Now that he is paid I notice that both water heater lines are leaking and one of them is crooked (more work that looks like a child did it). I text him the same day I noticed it which was October third. No response. October sixth I ask him by text to fix the leaks and hook up the stove like he said he would. He texted me the next day to inform me that he "finally got a day off". I reply with asking him if he fixed the leaks as it was day eight since I notified him of the leak. I got no response. There were several other issues I had with Joseph, but the worst has to be that my resident went without a stove and hot water for a month. I have a feeling this doesn't bother Joseph.

They arrived right on time at 9am. Alex and Joshua came together to check on my issue. We'd recently received a large water bill and I was unsure of a leak. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue coming from the bathroom in the main part of the house which I rarely use and would never have noticed. They provided quick estimates and fair prices and ultimately left me with a solution that worked best for my budget.
