Last month, not paying close attention while backing into my garage, I scraped the passenger side of my Lexus, causing adequate damage to the rear door, quarter panel, and rear bumper. It wasn't severe accident type of damage, but I knew it needed to be professionally handled. When I called my Lexus dealer and asked who they used for repairs, I-10 Collision Center was one of the body shops on their list. I called I-10 Collision and spoke to Debbie, who listened, answered my questions and explained what the estimate process entailed. We met the following day, and as we inspected the damage, she showed me areas that would be repaired (including a few I had missed) and how the repairs would be made. We went over the steps and costs involved, and Debbie gave me a copy of the estimate for my review, answered my remaining questions, and thanked me for coming in and considering I-10 for the repairs. As I drove away, I realized that there had been no hard upsell, no pie-in-the-sky promises, and no trying to pad the bill by adding on services or extras that I didn't want or need. I also got estimates from four other body shops in the Coachella Valley, but none of them were as thorough or showed the same level of interest in repairing my vehicle as I-10 Collision. After reviewing all five estimates, I selected I-10 Collision for the repair because they seemed more focused on a high-quality result than on the size of my wallet. Their estimate was not the highest, nor was it the lowest, but when I picked the car up 4 days later, the repairs were undetectable and the quality of work was beyond what I expected. They did an amazing job on the bodywork and paint, and the car had been detailed inside and out to showroom standards. It looked as nice as it did the day I bought it! Debbie, Hannah and Dwight were all part of a helpful and knowledgeable team who made the entire process as smooth and painless as possible. Very safe and professional, Debbie took care of us and provided a very fair estimate. You know how you feel when car places suck you in on unnecessary things, well that DID NOT happen here. We had a damaged bumper and frame and I-10 worked quickly and efficiently with our insurance (Geico) To get the car into the shop and us set up with a loaner. They were very communicative and made it clear what their plans were. We had an issue with the car being returned to us lacking a piece as well as a personal item that was missing from the car. Immediately responded and contacted about this and they apologized for the mistake. Despite minor miscommunications, they promptly arranged to have a technician come to our home and right the wrongs. Debbie at the front desk arranged everything and kept a cool head despite our obvious frustration and she resolved it very smoothly and efficiently. Would recommend this shop. Took my 2022 Nissan Sentra to this business for moderate front end damage at the end of August 2023. They had the car for one month and extended my pick-up date 4 times. They originally told me 10 days to 2 weeks. When I got my car back it had a crack in the windshield, which I discovered after driving about 1 block from the business. I took the car immediately back and explained the situation and they never fixed the windshield. I had to go through my insurance again and file a separate claim for the windshield. The business considered the crack in windshield to be prior damage and never told me about the crack when I picked the car up.. I had gone over the damage with the adjuster 1 month prior and there was no mention of a chip or crack in windshield. I would highly not recommend this company for bodywork repair. They are very unprofessional And unfriendly bordering on rude. The communication was also very poor. The agreed upon money was acceptable since it was an insurance claim read more

I baby my car. Seeing it vandalized was heartbreaking. For someone who loves their car like I do, there's a special devastation when the factory fresh paint and metal is dented, scraped, and bruised. There's the dread of wondering whether or not a body shop can even match it again. Then there's the dread of wondering how long you'll be separated. After patronizing multiple body shops around the CV, I can very much confirm the spectacularly crappy feeling of having your car completely messed up, then picking it up with more damage, shoddy repairs, and careless paint matching. Having the injury stare you in the face every time you look at the car is just unacceptable to me. Unfortunately, too many body shops don't seem to mind. I love I-10 for two reasons- First, they made my vandalized car look brand new. After my car got messed up, I couldn't even picture it looking like it had even the day before. When I picked up my car from I-10, it looked like it had just rolled off the dealership lot. I didn't image it could look that good. There were no traces of damage. Body lines were precisely fitted, paint was matched perfectly, the previously damaged headlights were pristine. As hard as I tried, I couldn't find a hint of the collection of dents that had riddled the sides. Second, everyone is really friendly. Debbie looked over my car when I brought it in. Even though I babied my car and knew it inside and out, she could spot the damage I had no idea was even there. Inside the office, Hannah was welcoming and concerned about making everything perfect again. Mike (who I believe is the manager), talked me through the process and details. My Tesla was towed here because my insurance company presumed it would be declared totaled after I got T-boned on the driver's side by somebody running a red at about 55 MPH. Geico thinks it might be fixable now, so I have to take it to a certified Tesla repair shop, but I wanted to review I-10 Collision because their customer service has been outstanding. Hannah and her team have been so helpful, kind and understanding throughout this stressful process... They even gave me a jump start after normal hours to access the vehicle. Even though I didn't have any work done by them on my car, I did glimpse some of their finished work while I was there and it was impeccable. They were inspecting the car to make sure it was absolutely perfect, and it was. If they become Tesla certified or if I end up getting a different car, I will definitely use them if I ever need body work done. read more

THIS IS A TRUE STORY... SERVICE DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!! Wow... I just returned from getting an estimate at I-10 Collision Center in Thousand Palms, CA. I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THE LEVEL OF SERVICE I RECEIVED. (And I haven't even given them any money yet!) Here's why I'm so impressed with this place (and why I couldn't wait to tell someone my story) ... I recently lost my father... and was talking on the phone with a family member as I was pulling my 2012 Ford Fiesta into the single-car garage in the apartment building where I live. OOPS... Not paying attention led to my scraping the right front fender against the stucco of the garage door frame. The fender itself was a bit crunched (and needs to be replaced), but the most troublesome damage was the white residue of the stucco which had adhered to the metallic red paint finish. I would estimate the damage covered about 18 inches in length; in an area directly above the wheel well. When I arrived to get an estimate for the work (out-of-pocket, no insurance claim is being submitted), Ryan literally dropped what he was doing to assist me right away, took a quick look at the vehicle, and said "Have a seat for a few minutes... I can make that look way better than it does now." Sure enough - after a brief wait (probably 20 minutes, at most), Ryan returned my car with a lot of the cosmetic damage gone!! And if that wasn't enough, he also touched up some scrapes along the door edges... all of this at no charge to me whatsoever. Ryan then provided me with a written estimate to do a full repair of the fender and the required painting (as needed). I feel the estimate is very reasonable and will be taking the car in to have the work done as soon as I can arrange it with my work schedule. This truly was a level of service that is all too rare these days. I-10 Collision Center was the third facility I visited in order to get an estimate for the repairs that were needed on my vehicle. But without question, they will be getting my business. read more

This place was recommended by Geico (my insurance company) after an accident involving a side impact. The place did an all right job making my 2008 Mustang pretty again (although I had to point out the crooked replaced door before I drove off and the tech forgot to replace my rim). I understand that they had to keep my car a few days because parts were slow to come in. But NOTHING mechanically that was damaged in the accident was replaced!!! There was a loose ball joint and other issues behind the tire that got overlooked, including a sensor that the tech forgot to connect while hurriedly replacing the rim last minute. When I took the car back and explained my issues (including the violent shaking at 60 MPH) the tech said, "Oh, that's normal wear and tear." REALLY? On that one side that got hit. And my car never drove like that before!!! "We'll see if Geico can cover that issue, but I doubt they will.", said the tech. They haven't gotten back to me yet (and it's been over 2 weeks). And the alignment place they sent my car to is a joke!!! My steering wheel tilts to the left. I doubt they sent my car anywhere. Very disappointed and plan on calling Geico to complain about their service. read more

I would have given more stars but my experience when picking up my truck was a let down. Here is why, as I got in to drive away, I didn't notice my driver side door had not closed, Why? because it is something that I never had to be AWARE of. Debbie said your door is not closed, and went to close it (it would not close) she then began to suggest it MUST have been like that before. And I said NO it has ALWAYS CLOSED. She rambled on saying no... look at it, and I am trying to get a word in edgewise and she continued to insinuate that it MUST have been like that. So she took it to the "back" and a few minutes later brought it back out and pretty much told me to close it a CERTAIN way that it HAD to always be like that. LET ME BE CLEAR that door has always closed properly for me. On my drive home, not only was I disappointed, but I drove over a rut in the road, and my door POPPED open. Hence the 2 stars for not owning up to something went wrong while they were doing the repair. Now it is up to me to get this fixed... Up till that point I could have been a satisfied customer. UPDATE: they are saying they took pictures of the damage door before they started the job? Why did they not point this out to me? read more

If i could give 10 stars I would. This is how a perfect business should be run. My electric side view mirror on my SUV was knocked off. I went in on Monday late afternoon and they were busy. They greeted me right away. Debbie who I believe is the office manager assisted me within minutes. I went to her desk and she took the information and started making calls immediately. She was trying to save me money and was making numerous calls to try and get the mirror asap . I couldn't believe how hard she was trying and how fast she was dialing will 2 fingers broken and in splint braces. That's what I call above and beyond. She told me since it was late on Monday the mirror may not come until Wednesday. Today they called and left a message the mirror was in. I drove over there with no appointment. In less then 24 hours I was back on the road with my new mirror.. They also saved me hundreds of dollars by not going to a dealer. I had a car repaired here in the past before I was on Yelp and the body repair was also excellent. You can't do any better as far as car repair and customer service. read more

From beginning to end, my interactions with the folks at this superb company could not have been more professional and positive. I called to ask when would be the best time to come in for an estimate and was told any day but Monday or Friday. I went in mid-morning on a Thursday and, within minutes, Hannah called my name, went out to my car, quickly determined what needed to be done. She provided me with an very reasonable estimate (as I was not going through my insurance) and set a day and time for me to come back when they would have the parts for the work to be completed. I took my damaged car to i10 only because they were who my insurance said they use I 10 gave me an estimate of 1 week my car would be done and ready for pick up sure enough it was and as I left the shop that night my car still had many problems they didn't replace any sensors, the alignment was bad it was going off to the right side, my AC was blowing hot air, and a latch in the hood had broken off during the accident and wasn't fix!! after calling Monday morning about my car and taking my car in once again that told me they had to order parts and fix all the things they missed! they said my car would be fixed in a day and after a day still nothing by far the worse service ever! didn't do the job right the first time with is very upsetting! read more

I received service here back in February die to someone hitting my car while at a party. At first, service was lovely. But when I returned home, none of my Windows worked except my driver's window. So I called and they said "Sure, come in, we'll look at it". Miraculously, the back 2 Windows started working again, but the front passenger didn't. So I came in. The mechanic guy tried to tell me that my window didn't work when I brought it in. I had a perfectly great car before I brought it to this place. Saved time having the car rental at the location. They advertise Geico "Express" , they hold true to the express part. However, I had to take my car back a day later, to have them remove paint marks on my tail lights, tire and gas cap. The man helping didn't not seem too happy about my return. It was an inconvenience for myself to have to return back to have the unnecessary paint removed. read more

My car was in this shop for over 2 months. Very little communication on what was happening with my car for most of its journey. Kept getting text messages telling me it was done, but I'd call and they'd inform me of another problem and say I can't listen to the text they sent me. They told me no one ever told them what exactly happened to the car to explain it's mechanical issues, but I told them the Monday it was dropped off what happened. They sent the car to one of their shops near by, and they took two weeks off for christmas and new years, no i10's fault, but I felt like something should have been done since they knew how long my car was in there for. I'll chalk a lot of the time wasted up to receiving new parts they ended up not working. But at times it take them 2 weeks to figure it out and get a new part, and in that time, they would barely tell me anything. One of their office workers yelled at me when I pressed him for additional information and he said "Do you want us to hand over a car that's not working? let us do our job." I was stern with them, and upset because of the lack of communication, and he made it worse. I'm in LA, in a rental, wondering if my car is even there. I'm getting mixed informed from different people and worried they're doing work before they clear it with Geico or me first. When I showed up to pic it up, no one knew what I was talking about and they left me in a room alone for 20 minutes. Got my car back now after over two months later, and it drives fine, but is clunkier now. Clunky gear shifting can mean low transmission fluid, so I checked, and its way below the line. Debbie has assured me they checked all of this. So that's fun. Overall, I think they could organize themselves better and be more informative with updates, esp with people who clearly want the updates. read more

Such awful service I don't know where to start. This is the "neighborhood" crooked auto body shop. I received a call Tuesday saying all the repairs on my vehicle were complete and it was ready for pickup. It was undercarriage, fender and tire damage. When I got there and my car was driven off I noticed the back right hub cap was not replaced, which I was charged for.... after I pointed it out they gave me the run around saying my car was safe to drive and the part could be in soon.... then as soon as I sit in the drivers seat I tell the adjuster that my tire pressure light was on... He told me it was on because they had just put air in my tire and the light would go off on its own.... I drive a mile down the road and my car starts to bounce up and down. I pull off into a Jiffy Lube to see what's wrong. They tell me I have a flat tire and it's not safe to drive on (the tire is also something this place charged me for). So they put enough air in the tire to get me back to the I-10 collision center. Once I arrive I call my Geico claims specialist and told them what was going on. They gave me a car back that was not safe and was never test run, even though they told me it was driven that morning. And even after I told the I-10 center adjuster that my tire light was on they still sent me on my way..... Geico called and slammed them.... Made them recheck everything.... this place is an absolute scam. read more

We had just took our car out of the shop for a previous accident, we came along way from home to take our son to school in Arizona, Thursday passing threw the area the back literal arm come off and left us on the side of the road. David from I-10 collision gave a estimated it will be done Monday or Tuesday but after talking to us realizing we weren't from there, we were taking our Son to college and planed on coming home Saturday, David put a rush on it had our car fixed the next day but we were already in AZ in a rental and couldn't get to his shop tell Saturday when we're on our way home, David was fine with that but when we got to the shop we realize it was closed and David was coming in on his day off for us to pick up our car, but David didn't stop there he took it in his hands to make sure we didn't pay for any of it and called the previous shop that worked on it and got them to pay for there mistake, no words could express our appreciation for all he did, he said he just wanted us to have a good experience take our son to college, and handle everything for us it made me cry to think a stranger did all this for us. I took my Land Rover here and as soon as I told them that someone nicked my bumper in the parking lot and they immediately gave me an estimate of what the cost would be. This place has been an absolute dream to work with. I was rear ended by an uninsured motorist and geico had me come to this shop and I couldn't be happier. I arrived and they did a walk through with me about the damages. Both Debbie and Mike answered all of my questions and showed a lot of empathy towards the whole situation.
