Decided to try this out while in town for an event. Well, $17 later I am widely disappointed. I ordered two breakfast bagel sandwiches. The spinach bagel was dry and stale, I ordered it with bacon and they put some burnt circle of dog treat on it, instead of real bacon. They only put cream cheese on one side. The food wasn't hot. It is obvious they served yesterday's bagels. I ended up throwing my sandwich away, which means I threw $8 away. In this economy, it's ridiculous to expect people to spend their hard earned money and you give them this!! read more

This place has a flat out unbeatable system. It gets PACKED and if the line is out the door, they still move fast. They won't accept phone orders most of the time so don't try calling ahead. Just know when you get there, they'll turn it out quickly for you. They're always so friendly. The food itself it's so so good. When it comes to bagel spots in south Orange County, they're on top. I have been looking for a solid grab n go breakfast spot and my friend didn't miss again with taking me to this place on the way to the beach. Loved their variety of bagels and sandwiches and almost 7-eleven vibe with the coolers for all the drinks with a solid variety of options. Got recommended a solid combo #6 with garlic and herb cream cheese and a drink for 14 ish bucks. Everything was perfectly portioned and made me instantly full and loved the taste and quality. The only qualm I had would be that the cream cheese was kinda overpowering and all over the place making the bagel not really able to hold its shape and it costed I believe 4-5 bucks to have it flavored. If it was cheaper or a little less it's an easy 5. Definitely coming back again! read more

I Love Bagels are the best fresh bagels I've had. My favorites are pumpkin (which is seasonal), blueberry, and cranberry. Their honey walnut cream cheese is amazing. Excellent bagels at a small locally-owned shop in a random Dana Point strip mall of all places! The cheddar jalapeño and egg bagels both possessed a hardy crust breaking away to a softly chewy interior...most impressive when factoring in that this was already lunchtime and completely cooled after toasting. My hot bagel came out cold. Don't know if their toaster is broken but the bagel wasn't even toasted. They put what felt like a pound of cream cheese on it that made the sandwich even colder. Same goes for the egg, it wasn't even hot, and the cheese wasn't melted. All around just a bad "hot sandwich".The service was quick, but I'm guessing that's because they didn't toast or warm any part up. The ambiance is nice. read more

This is my wife's childhood bagel shop which she frequented during her high school days. We have been going time and time again since we met. They carry my children's favorite which is the chocolate chip bagels. Panera only does a small batch of chocolate chip daily yet this bagel shop has them in stock all day. The service is great the staff is helpful and gives great advice. I usually get the lox but a staff member suggested a ham and cheese and now it is my new favorite. read more

Bagels and fresh OJ are awesome. They do have outdoor seating (limited) but it's nice. The service was speedy today, but ONLY because I had my ESA dog with me. The man who told me He couldn't have dogs in the store, ignored me when I stated she was my ESA dog. They even have a sign on front door that says service animals are permitted (by law they have to have this) but when it comes to action....they threw me out of the shop and said I had to wait outside for my order. So....do NOT patronage this establishment if you have a disability of any kind and use a dog for assistance!!! You will be thrown out, and reprimanded like you did something wrong for having a disability! read more

I have been by this place many times yet have never been inside or tried their bagels until today. It is quite impressive inside with a rather large sitting area and a nice patio area upfront. They seem to do a lot of business and were very quick to get all of the orders out. I only got a chocolate chip bagel today but plan on trying a breakfast sandwich at another point. Amazing selection of coffee and different flavors including decaffeinated. I was a bit surprised that they don't have Wi-Fi. I used next-door's subway Wi-Fi, just thought that being a coffee shop they would absolutely have it. I look forward to trying other options here in the future! read more

I love bagels is absolutely the best bagel around the store on Golden lantern and Dana Point has the best people behind the counter, there is a woman there. I believe she is the owner and there's a man there. That's usually by the register and taking orders. They are fabulous. I love their garlic bagel. It is the best second best or equally as good as the onion bagel for us, traditional bagel lovers. We often have family in from out of town and we buy their bagels and we buy their cream cheese. They do a light green scallion cream cheese that is out of this world that with tomato and cucumber, a little avocado, some lemon salt or garlic salt, and it's to die for The woman is always really nice. She has been there for years and I just love her so for you bagel lovers out there this place is the best they're fresh. They're not frozen. They're not frozen dough.
