    Drunken Noodles
    Linda K.

Stopped by for lunch today. I had the drunken noodles which were good and my friend had tuna tartare which looked and tasted very good. I hadn't been here in quite some time. I do remember things a little differently but food was still good. I would return~

    What i asked for

Disappointed I stopped in here to order a sushi platter. I showed them the first pic. Explained exactly what i wanted. Spoke to chef, he took a pic, they said no problem. Second picture was what i received. ZERO EFFORT. Paid a premium too. Should have ordered 4 lunch specials, got the soup and salads and made it myself for HALF the price. Been coming here 10 years..gung ho and toyo here i come! Sayonara

My friends and I have been coming to Ichiban since they opened. Their general tsos and orange chicken are hands down the best we've had. The chicken is so crispy and drowned in sauce. When you go for lunch it comes with a spring roll. The portion sizes are perfect and very reasonably priced. I wish I still lived close to this place, we used to eat here weekly!!

Another great lunch at Ichiban. One of our favorite spots even though we are not in the area anymore.

First time here. Ordered a scorpion bowl, tasted like juice, couldn't taste alcohol. Order maki lunch special with tuna and salmon rolls and it comes with miso soup and salad. Sushi was alright. Miso soup was really good. Salad was a tiny little bowl of ice berg lettuce with a little dressing (which is usually what you get anyways from other Asian bistros) I also ordered a hot and sour soup, the flavor was good but the texture of the soup was like jelly, it was a lot different then every other hot and sour soup I have tried. The waitress with shoulder length hair was super nice!! Overall, it was alright & it is very close to where I live and I will come back when I'm craving sushi.

As soon as you walk through the door the smell of the kitchen is incredible. It hits you in the face and makes you say "Ah, yes, this is why I'm eating out tonight." We had a fairly tall order for a small crowd of pork dumplings, shrimp shumai, miso soup, short ribs, speciality rolls, drinks, and sashimi. I honestly can't say a bad thing about any of them and I certainly sipped or stuck my fork in all of them :) Service was very fast and our waitress was busy, but made plenty of time for us. The pours of wine were perfect size and my hot sake was wonderful. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is I think the interior could use some updating, better lighting, and fix the locks on the bathroom doors that are a bit shifty. No negative food comments. We enjoyed it all!

Modern interior with a relaxing atmosphere.

East Hampton is a beautiful place, but we usually don't go there unless we have a purpose. Today's trip was for an open house and tour of the Bevins Bell factory. Today was a beautiful day, just enough sun and plenty of wind. We decided to sit outside, unfortunately being the only ones outside we were kind of neglected. We seated ourselves at a table, we weren't brought set ups (silverware, and napkins) as the hostess promised, and the service was a little slow. We were given menus and our orders were taken quickly. The appetizers came out quick. We decided to try the steamed dumplings, the crab Rangoon, and the Thai chicken lettuce cups. Everything tasted great and fresh. Lunch was Drunken Noodles, teriyaki beef and boneless barbecue ribs, and a lunch, special of salmon and bok choy. The lunches were filling and wonderful. We will definitely be coming back. I think East Hampton has given us a reason to visit more often.

Was able to park easily outside the restaurant and my order was ready one time. It was prepared pretty quickly in ~15-20 minutes. The inside is cute and has a nice dining in space. I ordered the crab Rangoons and chicken basil pad krapow. I thought the prices were fair ~$25 for both. I enjoyed the Rangoons but I wish they were a little crispier but maybe that was because I did take out. The basil pad krapow was yummy and I was able to get multiple meals out of it. Overall an enjoyable meal!

Boba station: Lots of topping and flavor options. $7.50 with boba and $5.50 without boba. One size. I got the passionfruit green tea with crystal boba, it was okay! Not a strong tea flavor but it was not bad. The other food looks good, would wanna come back and try!

Grab take out or dining in their cozy dining room. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We dropped by on a week night, with the place mostly to ourselves. We were treating my sister to dinner and Thai Riverside was her pick. The menu had the usual traditional Thai dishes; noodle, curry, stir, and house specials. I like that the menu wasn't overwhelming either. We started with Thai Iced Teas that were creamy, strong flavor, and not too sugary. We got the Vegetable filled Thai Curry Puffs that were served with a tangy, bright cucumber sauce. These were delicious, the crust buttery and flaky. I ordered the Green Curry with Tofu which I absolutely loved. It had a spicy kick, the veggies were fresh, and the tofu had crispy edges. Curry is my usual go-to. My sister got the Broccoli Oyster Sauce with Chicken and my husband got the Pho Noodle Soup. They both enjoyed their meals. The potion sizes were generous too that we packed half of it for later. There aren't many other Thai food options in the area so Thai Riverside is a delicious choice. If you are not familiar with Chester Center, there are designated public parking lots everywhere, but since Thai Riverside resides in the Water Street building (backside) there is a parking lot for those businesses only. We would definitely come to Thai Riverside again whether it be dining in or getting take out. One thing for sure, I'll be grabbing another Thai Iced Tea.

Not great service there. Delivery arrived promptly and the food was nice and hot. It was well packed, too, with layers of cardboard so things didn't get squashed and all the sauces and liquids were in plastic bags so they didn't leak all over the bag. The Crab Bags were excellent. Good ratio of filling to wonton. Great flavor. Some of the best I've ever had. The Orange Chicken came with the sauce separate so the chicken was nice and crisp. Nice layer of vegetables under the chicken; but the taste wasn't great. We won't order this again. The Panang Curry was very disappointing. The sauce was way too watery--I thought it was soup at first. There was no depth of flavor; just watery taste. There also wasn't very much beef. I asked for mild spice and the spice was very mild. Just a little kick on the after taste, so that was just right. But overall this dish was definitely not worth the money. If we order again I'll try the Pad Thai instead. Later: I dumped all the rice in the container of sauce and after it sat there for quite a while it absorbed enough of the sauce to not be so watery any more and the flavor improved (and so did the kick). But waiting for over an hour to eat it and having to re-heat is not optimal and the flavor was just ok.
