    Crab Rangoons

New to Hebron restaurants.. I placed an order to go around 3:30.. Waiting for my husband to come home from work to eat dinner.. I Couldn't resist trying it!! OMG.. Tina was spot on with everything I ordered. Po-po platter for 2 came with 2 steak on a stick, golden fingers, egg rolls, fried shrimp, rangoons and boneless spareribs!!! More than enough for 2 people.. I also got an extra side of Rangoon's, house special lo-Mein and fried dumplings!! I tried one of each.. I was impatient waiting for hubby to get home so had to sample. Rangoons are amazing!! The boneless spareribs and steak on a stick were fantastic and the portion were perfect plus!! The shrimp was crunchy and tasty. The egg rolls were probably the best I ever had! Then I tried the golden chicken fingers they were not greasy and thick with outer bread coating, they were yummy! The fried dumplings ( my husbands favorite.... )He will not be disappointed.. The lo-mein was huge I ordered the house special. Abundance of beef, shrimp, pork, chicken and vegetables. I think I got everything I ordered" Just a small sample until I eat dinner with my husband." I would 100% recommend this restaurant!! Tina who helped me choose what to order was so nice and friendly. I asked if I could get a glass of wine while waiting.. Tina informed me they don't serve alcohol.. Suggested I go next store pick up a bottle of wine and she would give me a wine glass while I waited.. 1/2 of glass later my order was ready!! So quick. Please try this restaurant out and. Ask for Tina she will set you up to be happy and full!!

Had a great dinner tonight. And our waiter was super attentive, while serving us with a smile. Can't wait to come back :)

I did take out, so I can not rate the in house service. Food was good, service at the front was very good.

I usually really enjoy this place. But I got a wonton soup with my lunch special and there was 1 wonton with zero filling in it.

East Hampton is a beautiful place, but we usually don't go there unless we have a purpose. Today's trip was for an open house and tour of the Bevins Bell factory. Today was a beautiful day, just enough sun and plenty of wind. We decided to sit outside, unfortunately being the only ones outside we were kind of neglected. We seated ourselves at a table, we weren't brought set ups (silverware, and napkins) as the hostess promised, and the service was a little slow. We were given menus and our orders were taken quickly. The appetizers came out quick. We decided to try the steamed dumplings, the crab Rangoon, and the Thai chicken lettuce cups. Everything tasted great and fresh. Lunch was Drunken Noodles, teriyaki beef and boneless barbecue ribs, and a lunch, special of salmon and bok choy. The lunches were filling and wonderful. We will definitely be coming back. I think East Hampton has given us a reason to visit more often.

It was maybe 10 minutes later when I got there and my order was already ready! It was still nice and hot so I was pretty impressed. It was $24 for both items which wasn't terrible at all. The restaurant was pretty empty but also quite dark. No hostess at the front--the loud slam of the door was enough to alert someone to come assist me. The level 4 spice I got on my Pad Thai was terrific--noticeable spice and got my sweat ready to drip.. but not crazy spicy where it was inedible. I was also able to taste the nice tang from the pad thai sauce. Chicken was cooked nicely. Overall no complaints. Very tasty! The mango sticky rice was a great end to the meal. The sticky rice was still warm and there was a generous amount of mango to top it. They had the coconut sauce in a separate container which I appreciated. The sauce was more on the runny side, so I wished it was a bit more thick. Overall though, so so tasty. Subtly sweet and had great balance of flavors. I would definitely come back, but for take out only as the vibes inside the restaurant was not quite it.

And I liked the Tom yum soup and much had just the right mix of flavors. But then the rest of the meal just kinda fell apart. The pad Thai was not great. The noodles were mushy and the dish was fairly flavorless. Chicken in the dish however was tasty. The other dish we got was also devoid of much flavor too. It was like they designed Thai food without much seasoning or perhaps the regular crowd lies it that way. But for me, not a fan. Ultimately it was just a disappointing visit. Had hoped for more.

"Down to the banana republics, things aren't as warm as…read morethey seem None of the natives are buying any second-hand American dreams" (Jimmy Buffett) Lunch at the Banana Leaf was a real triad of contrasts, as we had very positive reactions to their atmosphere and food but a very different experience with service. First of all, the décor is very pretty, with a thatched roof/tiki bar-like design at their small bar, painted designs and artwork on the walls, pretty light fixtures, sculptures, and Tiffany style glass. There is plenty of room between the tables, so you really have a sense of privacy and are not crowded at all. I love Thai food, and I loved my lunch. I ordered a small Coconut Tom Yum soup ($6), and it was a10/10. It had the coconutty mildly spiced hot and sour flavor I love and was loaded with chicken, A big bowl of just that soup would have been enough for my munch any day of the week. I also ordered their Spicy Eggplant with Squid ($18) stir-fried with bamboo shoot, snow peas, string beans, carrots, bell peppers and basil leaves in spicy basil sauce. It was served with a side of white rice. It was a great example of why I love Thai food because the flavor was fantastic. The portion was big enough that we brought home half for another day. Now, as far as we experienced, the real clunker here was the service. Perfunctory, unsmiling, non-engaging, robotic are words that come to mind. What a shame, because just a little effort really would have made a big difference.

I'm back. I come here once a month for the coconut soup. This is my first time dining here in…read moreyears. It was BYOB back then. They have nice decor, classic Thai music and nice decor. This restaurant was bought 5/6 years ago by the Chinese restaurant across the street. Their building was demolished. For my first drink, I'm having a Singha. Singha is Thailand's original premium lager, first brewed in 1933, known for its rich taste with strong hop character, and is often paired with spicy food. Its logo features the mythical golden lion (Singha) and the Garuda, a symbol of royal approval, making it a distinctive Thai brand with significant international sponsorships in sports like Formula 1 and football. The name also refers to numerous Thai restaurants worldwide that serve its cuisine. They have only beer and wine here. The cold beer glass matches the brand of the beer! This is good. It's cold and easy to drink. For my salad, I'm having the SomTum. Som Tum Thai (Green Papaya Salad) is a beloved Thai salad characterized by a vibrant mix of shredded green papaya, chilies, garlic, cherry tomatoes, long beans, roasted peanuts, and dried shrimp. The dish is defined by its bold, refreshing balance of spicy, savory, tangy, and slightly sweet flavors, often dressed with fish sauce, lime juice, and palm sugar. This is good! It's a big portion. I love the fresh iceberg lettuce cups. For my soup, I'm having tom Yum. Tom yum is a popular Thai hot and sour soup, known for its aromatic broth flavored with lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, and chilies, balanced with lime juice, fish sauce, and sugar. The most common version, Tom Yum Goong, features shrimp, but it can also be made with chicken, pork, or seafood. It comes in a clear broth (nam sai) or a creamy version (nam khon), which adds evaporated milk or chili paste. This is hot and yummy! Lots of chicken! The tomatoes retain a lot of heat! For my my entree, I'm having the Massaman Curry with chicken. Massaman curry is a rich, mild, and flavorful Thai curry with Persian and Indian influences, known for its complex, aromatic spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves, and its creamy texture from coconut milk, peanuts, and potatoes. It's less spicy than other Thai curries and balances sweet, salty, and sour tastes, often made with chicken, beef, or duck, and served with rice. They add peanuts too! I'm going to Christen a bottle of Melinda's Bhut Jolokia Ghost Pepper sauce. The pepper is supposedly 1M Scoville units. Yeah. That's hot. The sauce is not that hot. It's maybe 50K Scoville units. The Massaman Curry is real good! It's hot and delicious. What a great meal here!

I've only had take out from this place so I'll only be speaking on my take out experience…read more We have ordered here twice. Both times we enjoyed our food. I'm a vegetarian so I'm always on the lookout for good vegetarian food. We tried the Thai spring rolls, Drunken noodles (which might be made with oyster sauce so be aware if you are vegetarian) with tofu and sesame bean curd. By far our favorite was the sesame tofu (bean curd). It was crispy and light, slightly sweet and spicy and overall tasty. I've tried several other places in the area and this is my fav so far. The veggie spring rolls were also very tasty, but small. Still great tho, I don't love huge portions, but I did wish I had more of these (shared these and my roommate loved them). When I went to pick up inside the place looked clean, although when I went to the counter the couple and their (i assume) daughter did not seem very interested in getting up to help me. The daughter did eventually and she was very kind. Overall I did enjoy my take out experience here and will order here again sometime.
