We stayed nearby this place (walking distance) on our Orlando trip. We went in for lunch on our first day after traveling cross country out of convenience. I'm glad we did! We ended up eating here multiple times throughout the week. The price is good and the buffet has so many options. It is a much bigger buffet than most. There's also sushi included. Every time we ate here all the food we had was fresh. We never left disappointed. read more

Stopped by Ichiban Buffet for lunch and overall it was a good experience. The place is big, clean (it a buffet), and easy to move around, even when it's busy. Most of the food was hot and fresh, especially the hibachi, which was the highlight. You pick your items and they cook it right in front of you. The sushi had a good amount of selection and stayed fresh the whole time. Because hibachi is so popular, a few of the other buffet items looked like they had been sitting a bit longer, but nothing was bad. Seafood was decent, service was fine, and everything stayed clean. $13.99 lunch, you really can't beat the value. Not perfect, but definitely worth coming back for a quick lunch. read more

Visited Ichiban Buffet for early dinner buffet with a family of three (3). It appeared we arrived before the dinner crowd around 4:30 p.m. No problems finding parking and the employees were friendly. Buffet included sushi and grilled Mongolian BBQ. Great selection of other usual Chinese fare with fruits and desserts. Great relaxed atmosphere for the entire family. I love ichiban but this place was DISGUSTING. The bathrooms have NO SOAP so that means all day the employees have used the bathroom and NOT WASHED THIER HANDS. The toilets are disgusting. Looks like they haven been cleaned in years. The food looks and tastes like it has been out since they opened. If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely should not eat here and it should be shut down IMMEDIATELY. read more

Not good at all. All the food was literally cold and old. Only good thing was the hibachi because it was cooked to order. Even the sushi was very dry like it had been sitting out. Restaurant was dirty and seats had holes in them and beyond wore out. Definitely would not be returning. Staff were very nice though! read more

Always good! Can be busy and they don't always keep up with refilling trays. Can ask. One best way to avoid this is to build your plate for Mongolian stir fry. All nicely done. A tip is appropriate to the cook. I miss the almond cookies on the dessert bar. And sometimes the puddings are missing. Ugh But go go go! It is worth it. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. food was absolutely vile, meat that was labelled "chicken" was grey/black meat was probably cat/whatever animal they found dead in the parking lot the night before. Service was appalling, all servers were rude, abrupt and when paying she tried to take the money out of my hand for tip while I was counting it! She was leant over the other end of the table trying to get it, disgusting. Food was inedible, if you're looking to get food poisoning then I'd recommend here. read more

Place is standard asian buffet. As far as Florida ratings go (outside of South Florida) this is right at average. As far as locations in Florida as a whole, it could use some variety. The food has been sitting too long, and my wife decided it was not worth eating here. I did eat my fill, but... didn't feel 100% after leaving. I do believe I won't be visiting here again. read more

The food is fresh, with plenty of fresh seafood options. Try the crabs! The service is okay, not bad but could use a bit of polish. The table staff ignored me, pretended not to speak English... The ambiance is elegant Chinese! Prepare to be impressed. The price...a bit high for a Chinese buffet $19 each...but includes seafood. The only reason I'm giving one star because when I went upfront to pay she telling me tip tip tip. I was gonna give her cash tip and wasn't understanding me . I told her it's a mandatory tip ?? Through card ? When I told her no. She threw the bag. And said some in her language. Never gave her the cash tip because of this experience. If you come just know you gonna have to tip regardless. Food it's fine. If you gonna say some say it where we understand. Nasty people read more

This place has gone down hill since the lat time I visit them before the pandemic. Last Thursday after leaving Volcano Bay decided to come an eat since it was only a few minutes out and we were starving. Very disappointed in the quality of the food available at the buffet. Very limited amount of sushi, food was either bland or too salty. Dungeon crab had amonia taste like and most of the food was cold. For a Thursday night the restaurant was pretty empty which should have been an indication of what kind of service they have been given. This would be the last time coming here as there far superior buffets in Orlando. read more

The service is great, the staff is very polite. The ambiance is meh. The food is pretty hit or miss. Mostly seafood and sushi. The chicken is obviously mixed between somewhat fresh and jerky. We have come here every now and again and it seems to be declining. It's on par with the average Chinese buffet you can find anywhere. read more

When I visit Orlando I am always looking for a buffet spot that sells pretty good food and at a good price. When I came across Ichiban buffet I saw both and took a shot at it and went to go try them out. It was on Christmas Eve and the line wasn't too bad, 30 minute wait but took like 10minutes to get seated. Food was great, fresh and delicious. If your in the Orlando area I would recommend this restaurant and try it out. It won't disappoint! read more

This has been one of the worst places I have eaten here in Orlando. From poor customer service and worst service and employees with attitude. I asked a simple question and the wait staff and cashier got a huge attitude about my question. The food was poor and mislabeled. Asked for a refill and waited 10 mins and never received it and had to ask again and getting attitude cause I'm asking. Even though I'm paying a percent tip cause there were five people in my party. If I go to a buffet it's usually right around open so I did get here a bit late around 130. The place isn't too bad inside and I was seated right away but man I wish I left right away. Noodles were mushy which happens it's a bit slower than a noon rush but damn. Then I went to the chicken nuggets and crab Rangoon. The steam pumping from underneath the tray told me ahh these will be good. I'll never know though as they were damn near icee level of cold. Don't get me wrong I'm not expecting a 5 star dining experience but one thing I typically require is the food to be hot or at least warm damn it. Won't be going here again. read more

Standouts are seafood casserole, cornbread, seafood/shellfish of all types and many salads, sushi rolls, a variety of fish preparations, etc. The drink specials are fun, but will still pad the bill, so we abstained. The staff were all personable and hardworking, with the bar-staff pulling double duty on the floor and still cheerful about it. One HUGE table left a paltry cheap tip for the poor guy, so we gave extra. Don't b a D*CK, people! Restrooms are fine and the wait was minimal. Parking is great on site, at no charge. Yay! Despite the initial allure of an all-you-can-eat buffet, the limited food choices and overall quality were far from satisfactory. The stale taste of many dishes was a recurring issue throughout my dining experience. While there was a surprising inclusion of small crayfish, the lack of adequately prepared dining utensils, especially for consuming crayfish, was a notable oversight. The absence of spoons near the soup area, which was already hard to locate, made it inconvenient and frustrating to enjoy certain dishes. The lack of staff and servers only added to the frustration. Throughout my meal, it seemed as though they were nonexistent. This was evident when my fork was taken away during plate collection and was never replaced. The absence of attentive service detracted from the overall dining experience. Despite the clean environment, the quality of certain food items was questionable. The sushi lacked flavor and freshness, while the sashimi appeared unappetizing and appeared black by the time we got our hands on it. It was definitely not fresh at all. Additionally, the hibachi grill, although visually appealing, proved to be overly salty. Even the fruits did not appear fresh, further adding to the disappointment. read more

Honestly I shouldn't complain about a AYCE buffet that is 11.99 but I would be mean if I didn't. Although there is a variety of the American-Chinese food (fried rice, lo mien, chicken and broccoli, etc) and the more authentic Chinese food (sautéed clams, steamed fish, etc) the food was mediocre at best. The sushi and sashimi looked sad and the a lot of the food looked like it had been sitting there all day. The service was horrendous. The facial expressions on the waitresses and chefs looked depressing. Never will we be going there again. read more

I was amazed when I walked in there Saturday night. The place was very clean and staff were constantly going to the food bar to adjust the dishes. Was a huge selection of food!!! I gathered some of the vegetables and shrimp and chicken to have it freshly grilled at the hibachi bar in front of me. There a variety of sushi. Let me start off by saying that we got here half an hour before closing. That being said, I am quite the buffet veteran and I know that whenever you walk into a buffet and the first thing you smell is pungent seafood, you are not gonna have a fun time. We saw so many reviews on the yelp so we decided to give this place a try. We came on Saturday for lunch and it was full and we waited about 15 minutes till we got seated. I would say this place is popular because of its convenient location, and the variety of the food. It is a very fair price for all you can eat chinese food, sushi, salad and dessert.
