This is one of my fave spots. Its clean and of course fresh. I suggest that you come early when lunch is served probably around 11:30am to 12:00pm. This is when the food smells and taste good. First off it's a strip mall Chinese buffet so go with the proper expectations. That being said, it's definitely one of the better Chinese buffets I've been to in Orlando. The interior was clean and the buffet stations were well maintained and well stocked. There was a very wide variety of dinner item which was a big plus. The only area that didn't offer a wide variety was the dessert station. Most items were tasty and well made, although a few were definitely sitting out a bit too long (I'm looking at you sausage links!). The Sushi and habachi stations were both a pretty nice option as well. The staff was friendly and they were prompt with drink refills and clearing used dishes. Prices are definitely reasonable and on par with most other Chinese buffets in the area. Alright, here goes. First of all, how this place passed a health inspection test is absolutely beyond me. I have absolutely no clue what the fuck I just ate. Shouts out to the general tso's chicken, which introduced me to a texture I've never experienced before: chewy, rock solid, and gelatinous all at once. A trifecta. I'm not sure there was even any chicken in there. The lo mein was orange. Sushi had hair in it. As a last resort, I grabbed a plate full of egg rolls, crab rangoons, and other fried shit. Someone should probably mention to these people that motor oil is not an acceptable frying oil. It was inedible, and I'll eat almost any fried shit. My 16 year old brother is basically a human garbage disposal when it comes to junk food and even he wouldn't touch any of it. Coconut shrimp was alright but breaded outside the shell? How the hell is that supposed to work? Once my whole family gave up on the dinner buffet, a mass exodus towards the ice cream freezer in the corner ensued. Not to be swayed by the two dirty scoopers in a thing of dirty water or the visibly dirty damp rag right next to it for the scoopers to be wiped with, or the fact that everyone and their mother and their snotty toddler has certainly reached their hands into the vats to pry out the most minimally questionable thing in the place, I joined 'em (as I sure as hell couldn't beat them) reached in and pried out some "cookie cream" ice cream, which was decent, until my uncle recalled to me in detail how a long-haired child dove headfirst into the case to get some for himself right before, emerging with both sticky hair and face. For the love of God, man. I left traumatized and hungry and would certainly have stopped at the Del Taco on the corner after in a heartbeat if the thought of putting any more questionable food in my system didn't make me want to kill myself. My family is currently in the middle of a bidding war on who gets the toilet first when the inevitable food poisoning apocalypse comes. Come for a funny memory, consume at your own risk. Just on the sushi bar we had about 20-24 rolls to choose from along with tons of sides and unlimited condiments (when spicy mayo is $2-3 at a restaurant $12.95 for the dinner buffet is a steal) Not to mention tons of seafood, great selection of classic Chinese takeout favorites and a huge dessert bar. Things were kept pretty tidy for the number of people serving themselves at each station. I honestly thing there's a conspiracy of bad reviews against this place so the usuals always have a table or something. I would say the food was average, 3 star, but the service and selection was 4 star for sure. The best part is if you don't like something, you haven't committed to it by only buying that item, so set it aside and try something new. My family's meal would've cost $50-$60 on ubereats and was the same quality of food as delivery. This is the second time I come to this chain restaurant and food never disappoints! The rice is always good, the sushi fantastic and the oysters always fresh. I went this time with my family and they loved the food but this is the problem I have and why I gave it these stars. I start eating at Ichiban at their Kissimmee location. I have eaten at many buffets in the Orlando area. Ichiban is the best Chinese buffet in town, this place is busy, so most of the food is fresh and flavorful. Hibachi is okay, it all depends on who at the grill that day. Sushi okay We used to go here every other week, stop going here for 2 reasons. My wife loves two things when eating at a buffet. Raw oyster and Salmon sashimi. I don't think anybody eats the raw oyster here, sushi chef only put out a few salmon sashimi every few hours. if you try to ask them something they will ignore you. if you're lucky to get some, it's a small thin slice.
