They have very few servers, I've had the same server each time I've gone and even though she is sometimes the only one serving she still takes good care of my table. This is a really nice place. Food was extremely good. Only small problem I had was the tempura soft crab. It was good but it was a lot shell in it once you took a bite. Update again: They apologized for the price issue (though they didn't make up for it) and the food is good, Michelle is just wonderful, and it's a good price. Update after visit #4 (cuz I was starving.) I was just charged $21.99 for AYCE sushi on Saturday at lunchtime. The menu says VERY CLEARLY (photo attached) that AYCE Sushi is $18.99 on Saturday until 3:00pm. I asked the hostess about the error and she said no, it's dinner all day. That is NOT what the menu says. It's not a more extensive menu for dinner vs lunch. This is BLATANTLY DISHONEST. It's not the $2; it's the principle of the thing. Either fix the menu or charge what it says. Michelle is a LOVELY, sweet and attentive server who has made every visit excellent from a service standpoint. And the food is fine, despite the crunch mixed into all the mixed fish to stretch it, and the heavy use of rice. But I think I'm really done now. What a sha Update after visit #3: Again, outstanding service and a nice place. But ....I have to say that things here are just "too." The rolls are too big, with too much rice (and honestly, too much filling in some cases, which I can't believe I'm saying.) I can usually eat 3 fancy rolls which I like so I can try different things, and I always have to bite eat piece in half because I don't like to shove huge gobs of food in my mouth. Here, each piece is 4 bites for me and falling apart after the second bite. To have a couple small appetizers and one roll would be totally filling but then it's not worth doing AYCE; I prefer smaller bits of more tastes. Maybe yah just me? The fish and imitation crab is too finely chopped; it's hard to tell what it is even,especially with the tuna. It could be filler; can't tell. Too much crunch powder on top overwhelmed the fish. An order of tempura vegetables is too big; luckily the nice server let me order a half. If I had people to bring here, so we could all order different things and share, it would be better but no friends around who like sushi so it's a shame for me. May come another time, not sure. Got the Dragon Roll with tempura shrimp and my favorite BBQ eel on top and wow, was it yummy. Best & largest tempura shrimp I've had in ages; SUPER fresh, light, crispy, panko crumbs, perfect. Will have to order as an appetizer next time.; I need more. Delish eel and avocado on top and (for a change) actually enough eel sauce. (Most places act like it's liquid gold and charge for a teaspoon extra. White dragon was next, with incredible seared white tuna on top of a spicy crab roll with a touch of cilantro. Total with tax: $34. And luckily, I had a free Groupon 15% cash back offer that I'd claimed without realizing it was here, so when they ran my card, I got money back! Only complaint: the guys behind the bar kept running a loud machine, presumably a blender making smoothies or something, that was pretty disturbing. How have I not tried this place sooner?? Why where they hiding on me! We came in, we were seated right away. I ordered a Thai ice tea and it was legit! Then we ordered some crab ragoon and this was also very legit. Well stuffed, fried right and huge. Next we ordered three rolls.. I forgot which ones but omg.. prefect, prefect and more prefect! This is the cutest place I've been too. It wasn't busy when I went in, but it was so relaxing. The food is DELICIOUS...and is not too expensive. I was surprised by how much I did love it since I'm picky with sushi. I went with my boyfriend and we spent $60. We got full and had to take the leftovers. The maki rolls here were not up to my standards. Specifically the spicy maki (tuna, salmon, crab) They use a bunch of crunch filler in them which makes it disgusting. The server told me this is what all Japanese restaurants do and I know that's not the case. This is the first time I've ever encountered it in decades of eating sushi. She then double backed in it and explained "it's what they do here" and that people like it but it's hard to believe it's anything more than a cost saver on their end and a way to cut the product in a way that severely reduces quality. read more

They were kind of rude to me. Me and my sons went. I was so excited to try an AYCE sushi so close to home. I usually travel to Orland Park. I went and my sons and I were one of two tables. My sons had the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. I order two rolls off of their menu and an appetizer. Their food came out way before mine. My sons were practically done eating and I still had not received my roll. The place started to fill up. There was a table with 3 men who ordered off the AYCE menu and their rolls came out FAST and it looked so beautiful and plentiful. I still had to wait for my roll. Finally mine came out. I had to ask the waiters. She told me it was busy but honestly it wasn't busy when we first got there. It was early when we arrived. I just don't understand why I got subpar service. Why I had to beg for my rolls to arrive. Why did it take so long while other tables that arrived after me, that order way more than me, received their orders well before me. I think I have an idea as to why. But I won't even go there. I will not be back. I will not order again. I deserve better and I know exactly where to go. Two thumbs down. read more

Came here to see the new restaurant, flyer was left on my car and saw that they have sushi, so I gave this place a shot and i was not disappointed. The servers were very friendly, the place only had about three tables with people, so it was pretty slow around 330pm. They have a all you can ear Sushi for $18.99 before 3pm or $20.99 after 3pm. I ordered two all you can eat sushi with my wife, I had the Dragon roll, Philadelphia roll and Boston roll, all had shrimp inside. I was full after three rolls but still got my money's worth, I'll post a couple of pics after this review. In conclusion, I will return soon, I'll explore other sushi since I was full after three rolls but I will definitely return, the prices are perfect and the service was excellent! read more

The stars are only for the food, as the place is very small dark and not luxurious like. There were two chefs preparing the fish. Have to say thus was the freshest fish I have had for the past year. The presentation was not great but the sushi was delicious. After all the sushi, I tried a "mexican roll" WOW! The best roll I ever had. So much I like it, that I will return to have that dish. I was here earlier today. The interior looks very nice and clean, I wouldn't mind dining in were it not for the food. I had 3 entrees and 4 sushi rolls for the whole family. Only the sesame chicken and fried rice was decent. The sushi was pretty bland. The Spider-Man roll has a strange almost cold grits-like texture but isn't too bad. The California roll is made with the cheap imitation crab mean most lower end Asian restaurants use. The Godzilla roll would've been delicious were it not for the disgusting uncleared shrimp. Some people don't mind that, but I find that disgusting. The entrees were alright. The sesame chicken was my favorite. I'd even come back here and give this place another chance seeing that it's well reviewed and perhaps I caught them on a bad day, but I just didn't feel well after this food, and there was too many things I disliked with my meal, thus the 2 stars. read more

If you want Sushi in the area, this is probably the only option. The all you can eat is a great deal. We really enjoyed this place. Couple thought - don't get a spicy tuna and a double spicy tuna. It is kind of a waste as they are redundant. I don't know why we did that. Do get the gyoza and a seed weed salad. Those were both very good. The rainbow was also very good. I am very surprised at the quality and taste of the food I received from here. Based off of the reviews I was expecting so much more. I ordered takeout from here, which included an assortment of sushi and pad Thai. I frequent sushi and Asian cuisine is one of my top three cuisines. Unfortunately this place was not it. Not sure if they were having an off night, but the sushi did not taste fresh at all, which is unacceptable for any good, but especially sushi. We could not distinguish the sushi from each other. They all tasted bland. They only got 2 stars because my husband did like the Pad Thai. I was not crazy that either as it tasted soggy. I would not recommend this place. read more
