I placed an online order and my food was ready by the time I came for pick up (~15 minutes) Fast&Friendly service. Sushi was fresh and delicious. I felt it was a good fish/filling to rice ratio. The containers they pack their rolls in are so cute. It helps give take out sushi more of an experience. Most sushi places will pack all sushi in one container and call it a day. I would come again to try their poke bowls and onigiri. They also had boba too which I'll have to come try next time as well. read more

This place is small, and I fear it won't fit all the customers if and when business picks up. Orders are given at a counter, but all food is brought to the table by staff. I got the Tiger Roll, and the fish had an interesting taste. It wasn't bad or outstandingly good; just odd. The wasabi felt like the taste had faded. I was going to give this place 4 stars, until I tried their sandwich-like items strangely labelled as onigiri. The flavor was simply devine! I had no clue that spam of all things could taste so good! Worth noting that portions are on the small side, so you might spend more than you expected. There are no fountain drinks, but the variety of authetic refrigerated bottled and canned drinks is staggering. read more

The best I can describe this place is - inconsistent. We ordered from Ichiko 3 times and each time we order several rolls of sushi. The first time we ordered from Ichiko we were impressed and everything was great, except a couple of the basic rolls lacked flavor a little. The second time we ordered sushi, everything was outstanding. Totally 5 stars. The third time we ordered was a couple month later. It was Friday Aug 23. I don't know if they changed their chefs of what, but everything except from a couple of rolls and salads was bad. It was so bad that we might never order from this place again. First of all, they messed up our order and instead of 2 California rolls that I ordered, we got 1 Super California Roll. My daughter only eats California Rolls, so that meant that she had nothing to eat, but OK, she survived. Then, we ordered Lion King Roll and Rocky Roll which are similar and both were soaked in sauce and the bottom rice burned a little so it stuck to the foil and sushi were falling apart when you would take a piece. A few other rolls just lacked flavor. Then, the miso soup - I've never seen worse miso soup. It was just lightly colored water. The bottom line: I don't think we'll be back. read more

We ordered here for the first time to try it out. Everything was so delicious with quality ingredients. We ordered the lion king roll, benz roll and the spicy salmon roll. The Benz roll was my favorite because I love spicy rolls with jalapeños and cream cheese. This might be our go to place for sushi in the area! So this place is a little different. A kind of new style sushi inspired takeout place. The atmosphere is one of a boba chain where to walk up put your order in the kiosk and then wait till they call you or bring it out. They are new and don't seem to have enough staff yet for the complexity of what they are making. The portions are about right. But I'm not sure they have their flavors dialed in yet. My wife and I both got Onigiri which were more musubi tacos then any Oni I've had in the past. They both were "good", but missed the mark. Just too much going on. The staff we did interact with were friendly. But too busy to give any real service. I'm not ready to write them off on one visit. But it's hard to get back to them with a really good other "true" sushi place just across the street that I've now had three great meals at already. read more

I tried this place for the first time, and I'm slightly conflicted/ disappointed. Though the food is yummy and the portions are generous, I was given raw pork in my onigiri. When I showed them they apologised but that was it. I guess I just hope I don't get food poisoning, and I'll just cook the rest off at home? read more

The service is very very slow. We ordered 2 poke bowls and sushi rolls for my son. The sushi rice tasted like regular rice. My husband and I finished our food and my son's order didn't come out. It was already done but she never brought to us until my husband asked about it. So, we just told her we'll bring that sushi to go. They have their sick daughter sitting in the dining area coughing up the storm yet the mother did not even give water until I told her that she needs water. When I got home, I got diarrhea. I have never eaten sushi so bad in my life. It is an insult on Japanese food! Although it was prepaid they forgot to serve the miso altogether. What's served is of lowest quality ingredients. They have no clue how to do tempura, their calamari is from low quality frozen with horrible batter. And the Tiger roll is quite boring at best! read more

Delicious! I'm really impressed with the quality of this food. The ambiance is similar to a Quickly but once the food comes it's all you'll care about. The Onigiri is perfectly seasoned and the katsu patty within is crispy and really flavorful. The sashimi melts in your mouth and they're generous with the portions. I came here yesterday and ordered some poke bowls. They had a variety of choices and the employee was very patient with me because I took a while to pick my toppings. He kept a smile on his face and asked multiple times if my bowl was what I wanted. When I wasn't sure about the sauces, the employee went to get a spoon and poured a little to allow me to try them. I got a Teryaki beef bowl. The beef was super overcooked, like leather. Otherwise, it would have been great. Oh, and it too them 20 minutes to get us our food. I think this place will be great once they work out some of the various issues. read more

This isn't traditional onigiri (which is small, triangular, and kinda boring), but it's a great example of the large, sandwich-style phony-giri that's all the rage these days. I got a spicy tuna onigiri, and it was delicious - good ratio of filling to rice, not too dry, and not too large. Their sushi is pretty good, too. read more

Poke bowls were priced ok, ingredients were good, and fresh. Protein portions very small. Poke bowls were too small, though. Small , shallow, black plastic bowls. Once all ingredients added, the ingredients were piled too high, and some fell out of bowl. We ordered 2 poke bowls, using the kiosk, even tho the place was empty when we got there. No one came to the counter to take our order. We could hear someone chopping in the back. Once our order was entered, a guy came out of the back, and started assembling the bowls. It took him 15-20 minutes to assemble two poke bowls. While this was happening, another employee came in and stood next to him and watched. He seemed confused and was having trouble concentrating on the task at hand. Two families trickled into the store, and weren't greeted. One family, after some confusion, started to use the kiosk, and the other was able to order directly from the guy who finally finished making our order. The drinks are all bottled or canned, and weren't kept cold enough. No fountain drinks were available. I threw mine away after taking a drink because it was room temperature. The ambiance here is very lacking. I would suggest using it for take out only. read more

They do a great job with big orders. We highly recommend them. Ordering online is super convenient. My only regret is not reading the labels on the bottle drinks. A lot of them have artificial sugars that don't sit well with me. That's on me though - I'll translate and read the labels next time read more

I got the Poke Bowl and was very happy with my order, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend that more people come to this place and support them. Some may not agree, so I'm sorry for this post. I tried the new Ichiko Sushi in the Virginia Hills Shopping center. I know they just opened. I put in my order online since it was my lunch break. I didn't receive a confirmation for my order and I get there the lady at the counter was clueless and didn't check the online ordering. I waited 28 mins with only 1 person ahead of me, I ordered 1 ROLL which btw there were 4 guys in the back. My roll was the Chef Special and sadly it was not good. I only ate a few slices. There was barely any ingredients in the roll (more cucumber than anything else!) it was tasteless and I asked for extra sauce which I think they did the opposite. Again I know their new but the fish shouldn't be tasteless and the portions are ridiculous for the price. I'll be going back to Sushi Time (across the street) or out of town for sushi.. read more

They are new so I'd like to take that into consideration. Pretty packaging of to go sushi. Ordered a salmon love roll which didn't have the many ingredients that should have been there like mango, crunchy things, unagi sauce, nor spicy mango. None of that. I got just salmon avocado inside and salmon outside. :( we also got a boba drink that in the picture showed the black tapioca balls but description said agar boba. I didn't realize agar was not standard boba given the photo. When I asked they said they may have regular tapioca next month. But they have photos of that tapioca all over including drink description photos. I hope this is useful feedback so you can improve and thrive! read more

Can't believe this is the first time I've been here as I must go by it several times a week. I had a Roy roll and a Shrimp Tempura Onigiri. Both were great. The quality of the roll and the attention to detail was top notch. As others have mentioned there is a lot of attention to detail with the food packaging also and the inside is really well done too. read more

Great spot. Great food. Nice servers. Smaller type place with sone tables outside. Sushi rolls were very tasty with some great sauces.

Poké bowls are delicious. Fresh fish, good sauces. This will be my go-to since it's right down the street from me.
