The first place I visited before moving to Santa Fe about 4 years ago and now I work there lol. My favorite coffee in town. I love hot or iced vanilla latte with oat, the mocha, Asian noodle salad, steak tacos for lunch are so bomb. All pastries are gluten free. Lovely space to do some work or meet a friend. Needed some caffeine while visiting Santa Fe and found Iconik online. One of my favorite things while traveling is visiting local coffee shops and I'm glad I stumbled on this one. The seating set up is great, plenty of tables and seats available for work or hanging out. I would definitely come often if I were local. The music is a bit loud for my preferences but I don't mind putting on headphones. Service was solid too, the owner was there and he personally made rounds to each table to make sure everything was alright. But what about the coffee? Iconik makes sure you know they roast their own coffee with their original roaster on display right next to the entrance. I ordered a regular drip both because I'm cheap af and it's how I like to judge the quality of coffee. It was a decent cup, nothing mind blowing but better than you'd get at some corner chain, you know where I mean. Something unique about Iconik is that you have the option of "extraordinary" for both their drip and by the cup options. This just means they have specialty beans available for a slightly higher price. I generally only see this option for by the cup like pour overs, so I appreciate that you can get it in the normal drip coffee too. And a side note, if you buy a bag of beans (~$18 for a pound when I visited) you get a free cup of coffee. There is a sign for this but I missed it and decided to try a cup before deciding on the beans. Should've just bought the beans and gotten the coffee for free! All in all, a pretty legit coffee house that I'd recommend and would visit again if I find myself in Santa Fe. read more

There are big tables for groups to work or small tables if you're on your own. I liked the seating by the windows, and there were outlets to charge up here. I had just a standard drip coffee, and it was quite good. The coffee had a very robust and strong flavor, which is just what I like. It's actually about 4 1/2 stars. Excellent coffee. Pleasant friendly staff. Nice breakfast and lunch menu. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. Nice mix of folks in conversation and reading and using the Wi-Fi. When the weather is nice, there's a patio. Live music at times. Major downside for me is the very limited parking for the size of the establishment. That's the only reason I took a star off. Not much they can do about the parking at this point. read more

I really love the place. The coffee is so good- every time. And it is so eclectically decorated - with little quiet spots and a central space if you want to be in the mix of things. They have a great small menu of breakfast and lunch choices- all very tasty and their patio is such an enjoyable spot to relax with your morning read, great coffee and maybe a scone. They have a parking lot outside and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Not sure if I'd recommend here for studying since it's a bit loud on the inside, as they have a a bustling staff and loud music. But they do have free wifi. The atmosphere definitely skews more towards a young adult scene. The service was what stood out to me the most, as the baristas were all really nice and willing to chat. read more

Iconik is the perfect coffee shop. 90s grunge music is playing, lots of table space for you to write/draw/create, a magnetic board for your to leave your thoughts, a coffee roaster to show that they truly roast their own beans, a display of delicious pastries and a chalkboard menu. The coffee was truly delicious. I had their coffee in coffee ice cream at La Lecheria and the coffee flavor was so smooth and pronounced. Our friend shared with us a scone. The one issue that they have is that they only have one size for to go coffee cups and is the smallest cup I have ever seen. I am not sure why management took this preposterous decision, you could charge x 2 the price if you feel it's necessary but not having a size medium or large option for coffee is ridiculous. The ordering system online was a bit confusing but our order came out perfectly once I was in the cafe. The whole place was warm, bustling, and full of great ambiance.
