I don't know what else to do. I took my APPLE phone in for a new battery. Within the first week I called them back and told them it wasn't holding a charge. This has been a game of phone tag. The last time I spoke to the owner? she informed me that the day before her only tech walked off the job. I have tried to be patient, but my phone doesn't work. It has never held a charge even though I paid for a new battery. I just want my money back. I can only be contacted by email and so if they keep calling, they won't get me. I have told them that. We have used iCreative almost since their beginning and they have never disappointed. They have set up computer systems in our home as well as home automation devices. They have also installed a new, upgraded entertainment system. They are very responsive in troubleshooting. Today, we were in their offices with an online security issue. They quickly reviewed our computer and determined the problem wasn't internal to the computer. They also offered some protective measures. We were greatly reassured. I would prefer to give the owner Jonathan no stars as opposed to one. I waited one week before I wrote this review as I wanted the angry to dissipate. Jonathan came to my home to help me with my my computer. More specifically, the scroll bar had disappeared, ads were appearing and I needed Adobe Flash. He told me I needed a clean install, new Microword Office and he would do it in one day. He never asked me one question. He took the computer without asking me anything except for my password. He told me he would only need 10 min the next day with me. When he returned the computer all my passwords were erased. My PPT presentations did not work and yesterday I noticed that the new Microsoft Office does not work. Today I can not access any documents. The night he brought it back he told me I had to purchase an additional program, I did. It wasn't correct, so I purchase another program. There isn't enough room to go into detail of all of the things that are now not working on my computer. He speaks well and knows nothing. Jonathan isn't the first tech I have hired. I have never had any trouble with anyone else. He has a golden tongue, and is only concerned about what he can sell you. In the end, he charged $1100 and did not solve one of the problems. Unfortunately there are not many MAC technicians in Coachella Valley, Indian Wells, Palm Desert, etc. If any of you know of anyone who is knowledgeable, competent and not someone who will sell you anything hey need to advertise and take away his clients so that this idiot can do no more harm. I strongly suggest you never, ever use him. read more

I took my wife's iPhone XR here when it stopped working unexpectedly. They told me it would take 2 days to diagnose. They contacted me the next day and told me the phone would need a whole unit replacement. This was more money than I wanted to spend. I asked if they could ship the phone back to me since it was a 75 mile drive each way from my house. They shipped the phone back a couple days later. Although the phone turned into a paperweight, the customer service was outstanding! They gave me an answer regarding the status of the phone quicker than they promised, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. read more

Disappointed Deceptive- at bait and switch. $165 to $235 BAD customer relations. Apple is closed and sent me to this "Apple certified" repair- Apple showed $165 for new screen iPhone 7 Plus . I show up and theyPURPOSELY make you give all your information and then give you a sheet that shows their pricing...... I look at them and say I was quoted $165. "Their reply... that's Apples pricing not ours. Nowhere on there website will it disclose pricing. THEYDID NOT PRACTICE CORRECT SANITIZATUON FOR COVID. I had to tell him the people before me touched the front of the bar (not just top that he cleaned) they also touched the chairs which he did not clean. While servicing the people before me (he had a mask and gloves on) he touched his top of head 4 times his ears twice , his glasses n face 4 times and itched his sleepless arm 3 times. read more

Very disappointed, they say you have to pay $35 to run a diagnostic test on your phone. They informed me they don't do this kind of repair and referred me to the apple store on El Paseo. Honestly, I wanted to give this place a 5 star review. The person assisting me in the store was extremely friendly and polite, and the repair job was exceptional and well done. However, I had explicitly mentioned we had driven two hours to have these repairs done and were only in town to have my phone fixed. As such, I gave them my husband's phone number and specifically asked for him to be called or texted as soon as the repairs were done. We waited around all day with no call, so we decided to just come by before they closed for the day, and they handed over my repaired phone as if it had been done for hours. Frustrating. Come to find out, they sent me an email two and a half hours prior to me coming back saying it had been repaired. How am I supposed to receive an email if I'm not at home and you have my phone?? That's why I asked you to call my husband! We literally sat around in a parking lot for the afternoon waiting for a phone call we never received. Never been so disappointed by someone's inability to follow through on a simple customer service request for a very clear and logical reason. If you don't have to come in from out of town, I'm sure this place is a 5-star shop. But for someone who is expecting to be able to go home at a reasonable hour, expect to be stuck in the desert all day. read more

I took my 11 year old MacBook to iCreative after the Apple store diagnosed that my trackpad was bad. The computer was too old for them to fix a hardware problem. They said that a third party could do it. So I asked for a referral and they sent me to iCreative. Casel at iCreative told me that it would take about 3 days to order and get a new trackpad but they had refurbished ones. I said that would be fine. 30 minutes later my computer is back in business. He even cleaned it for me! 5 enthusiastic stars!!! Oh, and it cost half of what the Apple store guy said it probably would cost. Also, I know my battery is bad because it's bad and also the Apple guy told me it was. I plug in all the time so I don't really care. There was no attempt at upselling me a battery. read more

I made an appointment through Apple Care but apparently that doesn't matter as they take walk-ins at any time, so I had to wait while the walk-ins before me were cleared. And even though I had made an appointment, they told me that I would have to wait after the walk-ins before me because it's a "first come first serve policy." So why make an appointment in the first place? I had driven 3 hours to get there and I was an hour early, but I waited outside the shop to honor my scheduled appointment time, only to see the walk-in just go in ahead of me. Had I known the policy, I would have just gone in when they opened, as I waiting patiently in the parking lot before they opened. Once I was able to to talk to the young man, I explained to him that I had come from 3-hours away to get my phone fixed, and I would just be waiting in my car. He said he would tell the tech that I was waiting and it should be less than 3-hours to complete the repair (I arrived at 9:20am for my appointment) but maybe less and they would call or text me when it was ready for pickup. It's important to note that it was 106-F that day and because of COVID-19 I had no place to wait except my car. Hours went by and no call... finally at 3:30pm (over 6-hours later) I called to check the status. I spoke with a woman (Geraldine, I think) who said my phone had been ready hours before and then she rather rudely and impatiently asked when I would be coming in to get my phone. I asked her why I hadn't received a call... she looked at her paperwork and said, "oh, now I can see that I have a list of people to call." The phone had been ready for hours, I was but I was left waiting in a parking lot in 106-F heat because this woman or someone else in the office "forgot to call." No apologies, nothing. I found that interaction to be very rude and disrespectful. I had waited over 6-hours in the intense heat for a repair that should have taken less than an hour. To make it worse, my drive home was now in rush-hour traffic, and took almost 5 hours (instead of 3), and I missed picking up my daughter from her daycare by the required time, so I was charged a late fee and had to arrange for someone else to get her (of course she was really upset). I had even explained my daycare concerns when dropping off my phone. What a complete waste of a day. I was so disappointed and I really can't believe this unprofessional operation is approved by Apple (which keeps much higher standards for customer service itself) to offer Apple authorized service. I cannot recommend -- they don't seem to care much about customer service. read more

In a very short period of time, the technician, Matthew was able to get my phone working again while I waited. Took my phone in after Apple referred them, since they're part of Apples certification program. Well I forgot his name, Michael I think but he was tall and he called himself a lead engineer. Before leaving the phone I made sure the repair could be done by Apple which they referred me to iCreative. Left the phone a tad bit earlier thinking it'll help him out in the end (9:15-9-30 Am) Came back an hour after he told me to check on the phone because I was left with no phone. TWO HOURS LATER, I came back expecting an answer. I'm a tech, I get it. Stuff happens repairs take longer. But this was a simple diagnostic. Not even a diagnostic. He ran it through some GSX or whatever program they say it was and told me Apple said it doesn't cover it. I call BS. Called Apple and they suggested I complain because the repair could be done. The next part is what really gets my blood boiling. He said he couldn't do it (the technician at iCreative) because Apple denied it. I get it. Apple restricts you if you're part of the program as to what you can't and can do to their devices. But for him to correct me on how it's done and him tell me "we have the tool that does it, you don't need to apply heat it's bad for the motherboard", and the fact that I have Apple Care and he even verified it. Makes me believe he just lied. He said he was backed up even if I brought it earlier. And the dude even had two hours to run the claim if it could be done! I'm going to call their owner and complain because that's not how you do things! Two hours to run it through our system? Seriously? I waited maybe three minutes bro, three minutes and I would have saved myself hours! It took him three minutes to run his stupid gsx crap or whatever he calls it. About three minutes and I would have gone on my merry way and took it out on apple. But now I have to do this. I feel bad for the owner because I know how reviews affect the business but if he employed people like that, it makes me wonder. When I was Lead Tech at the repair company I worked for, we would intake about 15-20 devices in on a low day and I still managed three locations, and they would be completed on time every time. Or at least there would be a good reason why we couldn't repair and we always set the customers expectations. read more

I found this place from Apple's own website as a recommended Apple Certified service provider other than the Apple's Genius Bar where it's so difficult to get an appointment, and I wasn't disappointed at all. In fact, I think I will continue to go there whenever I need service for any of my Apple products. The staff whom I met, Mathew, took the time to listen to the issue I had with my MacBook Pro and explained to me in details what the steps they were going to take to examine and fix the issue. It was such a professional experience and made me feel good that my laptop would be personally paid attention to. He followed up with me within the time promised, and, when I went back to pick my MacBook Pro up, he also explained to me what problem had been found, what had been done to correct it, and other things to make sure there won't be any other issue. They did the legwork and found the issue was actually an Apple design manufacturing flaw that Apple would fix for free. Other shops in the So. Took my iPhone for a battery replacement service, a few hours later I receive a call from a gentleman saying that my iPhone screen had crack in the process of changing the battery and offered a $25 discount on a new screen. It was never explained to me that if an accident happened to my screen they wouldn't be responsible for replacing it. I was never asked if I had ever change my screen before, if it was genuine or not. So I left with a broken screen.
