16 courses for 99. BYOB but they also sell sake. Rice was a bit heavy on vinegar, but I didn't mind it. Decent variety of fish. Staff was nice. Small bar, but felt cozy. They even play special songs if it's your bday. We had two in the group for dinner.

We came on a Thursday night and there were plenty of seats. The waiter and chef were both so kind, and so easily accommodated any allergies or even just preferences! All the bites with incredible, but my favorite was the med fatty tuna. Presentation was lovely and they have it down to a science for an hour omakase. Highly recommend!

Good quality omakase for a relatively fair price. Nothing incredibly special, just a good reliable omakase experience in Brooklyn. Fish all tasted pretty fresh, sometimes the taste of the fish was drowned out by the accompaniments.

I cannot believe this 16 courses omakase is 99/P! We celebrated our 3rd month anniversary here and the service was amazing. The decor is modern mixed with traditional Japanese elements. Everything tasted fresh, the chef made each piece with love and care. It is impossible to pick which one is my favorite piece, so many top contenders. Ended the meal with two desserts, mochi icecream and pumpkin cheesecake. Definitely will be back again

Cute and cozy interior with bar seating and two additional small tables at the front of the restaurant. Waiters were super attentive throughout the meal, constantly refilling our teas and waters. To start the meal, they brought us a hot hand towel which was great. Food came out promptly and each piece was delicious. Out of the appetizers, the sea bass was the star. My favorite piece of nigiri was probably the mackerel or lean tuna. I was a bit thrown off by the tiramisu at the end as it didn't really fit the theme but it was also delicious with good texture from crispy and crunchy chocolate balls between the layers. I would highly recommend checking Idashi out as it's well priced for the quality of the food. I left feeling super full.

Updated: just came today for the winter menu and I had to say I was a little dissapointed. Overall it was still good but I didn't love all my peices like I did the first two times I came. Their fresh water eel was a mushy texture and I felt like some of the flavors were off. Not sure if it's the winter menu, the chef or just their fish today. Sadly Ellis wasn't working but our chef was efficient. I would still come back. Omg I might have just found my favorite omakase spot in brooklyn, every single peice here is just so good and well prepared. I can't recall the last time I went to an omakase and thoroughly enjoyed every peice. This is a 16 course meal for $99. Came with a group of friends, made sure to make reservations since this place is quaint. The whole place seats about 12 people and there was a party who was celebrating their birthday beforehand so we had to wait a bit. Food was delicious and it was really chill here where the chef jokes and laugh with you.. halfway through he popped open a sake and started drinking with us. We were like that awesome your boss lets you drink on the job! He's like i am the boss so if you come definitely look for Ellis!

Best omakase I've encountered in Brooklyn. Super intimate spot. You get a 90 minute slot to enjoy some seriously fresh fish. The chef was great about substitutions for things we don't eat and every course was phenomenal. Did I mention it's very affordable for omakase? $99 for a 16 course meal. Will go back.

$99 for a 16 course is a pretty good deal. Also byob which is great. We sat at the table and was honestly a great time. Bar seating looked good but worked better for us as they brought out 3 of the pieces of nirgiri at a time. The wagyu with uni was definitely a highlight.

Found this gem and made a rsvp via resy. Was pretty excited to try and idashi met all my expectations. Walked in and the aesthetics of this spot was cute. Sat down and started the 16 course omakase, which was amazing. Every piece took me on a journey and the flavors melted together heavenly. TLDR: Would I go again? Yes How was the omakase? 5/5, esp for the price $99/pp 16 course is def worth. Service? Was good, chef interacted with us throughout the meal

Came here with a group of 6 and were blown away!! We did byob which is always nice to have as an option and the first was just so fresh, so tasty the combos were really perfectly paired and nothing tasted too fishy. Each round was better than the last! Def check this place out!

YUM - we had very fresh pieces of fish! You can tell that they don't skimp on the quality here. We got the 16 course for $99. The chefs are very informative about the pieces you're eating and the staff are extremely friendly, constantly checking in and refilling waters. I loved the 3-piece appetizer, the uni with red crab bowl course, and the 2-piece dessert, which were nice breaks from the omakase pieces. My favorite pieces of the 16 course were definitely the Sweet Shrimp with Foie Gras, the A5 Wagyu, and the Chopped Toro Hand roll - DELISH!! Very convenient spot near Barclays Center. I'd recommend this omakase experience for special occasions, or simply for a nice meal before a concert nearby. Had a wonderful time!

Fairly new (opened 3 months ago) and small omakase restaurant in Park Slope/ Boreum Hill neighborhood. Very zen/minimal naturalism vibes when you walk in, which is reflected in the interior design/decor. We were the only party for a 4:30 pm seating, which is when they open. It's a 90-minute omakase experience but we were able to finish in about an hour since we were the only customers. The experience is $100 for 16 courses (3 appetizers, 10 nigiri, 1 mini don, 1 hand roll and dessert). The sushi chef let us know each dish as he plates in front of us. What stood out to me at this omakase compared to others I've been to is the creativity of the toppings added to each nigiri. Other ones I've tried are pretty standard at its pricing; this place just takes it up a notch noticeably. Even the pickled ginger is different -- they prepare it in cubes instead of the thin slices, which I prefer because it makes the ginger juicer. The experience starts off with appetizers presented in a trio platter. Then the we have yellowtail and sea scallop. My favorite nigiri, which the chef also said is most customers' favorite as well, is the sweet shrimp topped with foie gras torched. I love sweet shrimp, which has a buttery taste when raw, but topped with the foie gras makes it even more buttery. The flavor is very unique, unlike anything I've tasted in my other omakase experiences. Another dish that stood out to me was the ikura uni don, which is a really generous portion of everything delicious. It has uni, salmon roe, crab on top of a bed of soba noodles. The meal ended with yellowtail hand roll and tiramisu for dessert. We added another scallop hand roll and sweet shrimp foie gras nigiri before we ended the meal because it was just too good! I had such a great experience and everything was just chef's kiss. The price was reasonable and affordable. Next time I might double the nigiri (such a good option)!

The $99 16-course omakase is their main set apart from being able to order a la carte. The first course is actually 3 courses served in one plate and the final two courses are served at once as a dessert plate. The chef made sure to tell us every single thing we were being served and the staff came around to talk to us and refill our water often, which was appreciated! The bar area is really nice and they have a side table if a party chooses to not be seated at the bar. All of the sashimi and the meat was high quality. I loved the tender wagyu and the succulent eel.

They've got a food menu and other drinks besides beer, including nonalcoholic options, but I was especially impressed with their tap selection and cans available in the fridge. Bartenders were awesome, and this place is great for having way more space than you'd expect when you first walk in! There's more seating past the bar in the back. The big differentiator is an outdoor patio area that's perfect for the nice weather. If I lived nearby I'd be out there pretty much all summer.

The crowd was friendly, welcoming, and in great spirits, which added to the overall vibe. They offer an excellent selection of beers along with a variety of wines. Maddy, the bartender, was fantastic and made the experience even better. She recommended the Hill Farmstead Double Mosaic IPA, and it did not disappoint... an outstanding choice. I also got the chance to meet one of the owners, Taylor, who was friendly & very knowledgeable on the beers. Thank you for a great conversation. Overall, this is a great spot that I can definitely see becoming one of my regular go-to places. Looking forward to many more visits. Thank you Maddie & Taylor See you soon.
