Where do I begin with this place? I will start with the front desk staff. Each and every one of those ladies are absolutely amazing! They greet you as soon as you come and offer you something to drink. My 8th visit was very delightful because I walked in and stood in line for a bit. A front desk staff member was ready to go home, yet stopped and checked me in. These ladies are wonderful and very respectful! Now to my nurse practitioners who complete each appointment. If anyone makes you more comfortable and at ease, it's these superheroes! Nurse Allison is so nice...she made me forget I have the worst threshold of pain! Our appointments are spaced out and the last time I went, Nurse Allison sent me home because I was in the sun all day! I saw her after maybe 6 months and she remembered our conversation about school and moving! She didn't mind the constant breaks I needed to take and switched out my ice pack every so often. She is truly amazing! Now I want to say about Ideal Image as a whole! From my initial consultation to my eight treatment, I have gained a world of confidence! Due to PCOS, I had some facial hair that hindered me from being my truly, bubbly self! Now I can freely go out without staring at a mirror contemplated waxing or threading. My first 2 treatments were the only good experiences I've had at this Ideal Image. Completely downhill after that. I'm getting full legs, stomach and face done. I go to school full time, and my work schedule varies, so scheduling is tricky. When I set up my appointment I get everything done at once. Or so I thought. On my 3rd appointment, half way through my session I was informed that whoever set up my appointment didn't set enough time, so the only thing I was getting done was my bottom legs. Luckily whoever was doing my treatment that day squeezed in some other areas, but not my upper legs. Weeks later was the only time I could get back in get my upper legs done. I thought, maybe it was a good thing because there was a whole strip of my bottom leg that got completely missed on the 3rd session, and a few other spots on other areas got missed. Today was my make-up appointment to get my upper legs done, I asked if the areas that got missed last session could get zapped while I was in. I was told no, but I can make ANOTHER appointment to get those areas fixed. I'm paying THOUSANDS of dollars to have these treatments done, and you can't spend an extra 10 minutes to fix your mistake? Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully I'll have better experiences at later sessions, and I can retract my review, but as of right now, I am very disappointed in this Ideal Image. read more

Although the people were very pleasant, when we discussed the finance charges they mislead me and didn't explain interest that was going to be charged so I was gouged later on. I feel like I was completely lied to and manipulated so they could have my business that day and would NEVER use any services with them EVER again. I have been a customer with Ideal image since 2020. Signed up for another treatment contract with them in December, this was suppose to be for 9 treatment but so far I have been able to get in for only 2 treatments despite the assurance to get rescheduled every 6-8weeks. Since COVID it has been impossible to get in for an appointment, after trying to get hold of someone on phone for 4 days and leaving voice messages, I finally get scheduled to go in for my treatment, drove 45mins from my house to the clinic only yo be told my appointment was cancelled without my knowledge or any warning. When I asked why, the lady on the phone had no valid response and chuckled when I tried to explain how frustrated I was about the situation. Apparently my situation was funny to her. I Paid $4500 for this treatment and so far all I have received is 2 out of 9 appointments, crappy customer service and continuous access to my account with automated withdrawal. They will sell you a dream about how great this place is but don't fall for the hype. Once they have your money in their pocket you become another statistic. Like other reviewers say, they sell you "REDUCTION" not "removal". After 9 completed Facial laser treatment I still have hair all over my face, chin and neck. No changes from when I started. During my last laser appointment the NP was terrible, the pain was so unbearable I complained about it and asked if she could adjust the laser setting she made some BS excuses as if it was my 1st time getting the treatment, mind you my pain tolerance level is extremely high. If you value your hard-earned money look for somewhere else IDEAL IMAGE is not what it is all cracked up to be. I'm telling everyone I know to avoid this place like a plague. read more

This place is horrible. I will say that everyone was nice and friendly! That's the only reason they get a star at all. I went in yesterday for a consultation on laser hair removal. The front desk was great, the nurses were fantastic. The pricing, however, is a scam! After you meet with your nurses, the ones who actually do the procedure, you get shuffled into a different office with "the person who handles the money." You are forced to purchase 9 sessions for any body area or none at all. That's it! That's the only option. When I asked why they sold 9 as a package when every medical article I read said each person's body is different and will require a different amount of sessions to achieve their level of desired results, I was told: "That's just how the company as a whole does it," before I was pointed to focus on the lifetime membership I'd receive. The membership is what gives you the ability to pay for a session at a time as you feel you need it. So basically, hand us your life savings, and then we'll give you the ability to make choices about your own care. That's not good enough. That tells me you're more interested in making money than you are serving your clients and giving them what is best for each of them individually. I was diagnosed with PCOS as a young kid. As a result of the abnormal hair growth that accompanies this disease, I've struggled with body image, self-love, and insecurities my whole life. Not to mention the impact it's had on intimate relationships with partners. It can truly be debilitating, especially in a world saturated with very specific beauty standards for women. I went in knowing that this would be a financial investment and that I may not be able to afford enough sessions to become the hairless goddess presented to me in advertisements, but if I could at least afford two or three sessions to "reduce" my hair growth to a state that is more normal or more average among my female peers, that would've been a life changer for me. I wasn't looking for perfection, I was just looking to feel a little more normal. So if you're like me and have major insecurities surrounding how much hair growth is on your body (particularly due to abnormal genetics) be prepared to have those insecurities taken advantage of at an Ideal Image to basically deplete your bank account. Their solution to your problem is a one-size-fits-all solution without regard to your unique body chemistry or desired results. I'm convinced there must be better providers out there, and I'll keep searching until I find one. read more

I have had three of the five initial treatments and I am very pleased with everything. The consultation and first treatment went smoothly as I had no idea what to expect but everything was explained in detail. Just one treatment had great results. Of course each time has even better results and there is no lasting side effects. The staff are always polite and friendly while the office hours are very flexible for any schedule. read more

I had been happy with the laser hair removal I had gotten in Minneapolis so I thought I would try Cool Sculpting. I was duped into believing I got a promotional discount and my Cool Sculpting would only be $100 per month until I paid it off. Now I find out, when I am only $157 from paying it all off, that I now have to pay $934.50 in finance charges because I didn't pay it all off in a set time period because I had unknowingly signed up for deferred interest payment. This wouldn't be such a blow if I got the results I wanted. I am not recommending Ideal Image to any one!! I am very disappointed with the results, cost and service. Not once did they call me to follow up past the first month. I'm embarrassed that I was scammed! read more

Honestly, I am writing this review because I didn't have the greatest experience... but then, my bad experience turned into a great experience! My bad experience was just some misunderstanding, which is how it let to me great experience. I had my last session and I got an email afterwards about feedback, where I sent a response back about how my experience was not so great... Within less than 5 minutes, the manager Elijah called me. He was the nicest person I think I've ever spoken with during a customer service issue. He took full responsibility for everything that was a concern to me. He was sure to explain everything on what's going on over on their end and it was just extremely nice that he would take the time to call me to make sure I understood and to make sure it's corrected for myself and other clients. I just greatly appreciated that and it turned my negative experience into a truly great one. & it wasn't all over a negative experience, just could've been better. Thank you Elijah!! I put just three stars because I've just had one session so far. The staff is really nice and spent time to explain and reply to my questions. The first session for Bikini was efficient and fast (25min). The only "cons" so far is they won't tell you a price in advance so you have no idea about the prices until they decide a quote for you, so be aware of average prices before signing. I wish I could give NO stars.. I paid 7000. for cool sculpting for nothing. I was told many times oh we can tell , when clearly they were the only saying to continue taking my money. I was a fool this procedure was a waste of money and time. And after contacting them I was shooed off by the district manager by the say sad " I can tell crap! " For the 7000. I went in for a consultation in earlier this year for cool sculpting at the Easton/Columbus location, the woman I spoke to was very friendly. I asked a lot of questions regarding the negative side effects I had read about cool sculpting (literally 2,500+ reviews) how these women experienced extreme pain once their treatment area thawed out - 3+ plus days after treatment. The women assured me that was not the case at their office, had never heard of any painful side effects from cool sculpting and that the office these women were treated at may have not been trained properly that were performing the procedure. So, I signed up to have my abdominal area done, mind you I am 5'4 and 140lbs and fit, just had a small problem area I wanted corrected. I pay $3,000.00 for this procedure, schedule for March of 2017. They took before pictures, and the procedure started... 2 hours into this, no pain and I am not worried and and decide to take a nap. At the end of the last hour session one of the paddles/suction thing gave an alert and the nurse came and the wet cloth had torn and my skin was exposed to the freezing agent. She blew it off as not a big deal and rubbed the lump out and sent me on my way. By the next morning, around my bellybutton where one of the paddles had sat (the one that was exposed to my bare skin) that area had formed tiny blisters and my skin turned brown - in the exact shape of the suction paddle. I called and went in the same day. They took more pictures and were baffled as to what would have caused this, I was concerned at this point considering I had already had my reservations about this procedure in the first place. Two days later I am on a business trip that is to last for 4 days. I woke up in my hotel in the most excruciating pain I have ever been in worse than child birth. My stomach was on fire, it felt like I had a thousands of fiery needles going through my skin. Sleeping, breathing, sitting up, laying down - nothing helped. I called the after hours number and spoke to nurse practitioner that was completely confused by my explanation of pain. She acted as if she had never heard of anything I spoke of. She did explain she could call me in a prescription for "Gabapentin" which is used for nerve pain. Not a pain pill at all, which she recommended that I take Tylenol or Ibuprofen for pain. So needles to say I was unable to attend any business on this business trip as I was confined to my hotel room for the entire trip with no relief from the pain and the medication was pointless. It itched and burned beyond anything I have ever felt and I have given birth. No one from Ideal Image followed up to see how I was doing. When I returned home I made an appointment with my physician and to have the area examined, diagnoses "Delayed onset nerve disorder" and "Frost Bite" from over exposure from cold. This pain lasted for 29 days! 29 long days! Misery... is an understatement. I could not sleep, I could not get comfortable, I could not wear clothes that touched my waist line. I went to the pharmacy and purchased every bit of lydocaine they had on their shelves. I wore salanpas patches day and night to get relief from this misery. I did not leave my house for 3 weeks!!! Again, nothing from Ideal image. I called and gave them an ear full but they did nothing, nothing at all and still acted as if this was the first time they had ever heard of that complication. I learned from talking to other women who have had this procedure done and the results I did, stated that had only had the procedure done on their stomachs and thighs. A very good friend of mine had the procedure done on her back at the same location I did at the same time, she had no issues, she also did not get any results from the procedure absolutely none. Ideal Image called her to follow up with her and she exclaimed that she looked the same, also told them about my situation since she felt terrible for referring me to their office. They offered her free treatments!!! Then they called and asked if I wanted to come in for a follow up 4 months later. Well, no I did not. I wanted nothing to do with anyone in their office. At the end of this, I lost not inches, changed no shape, the procedure did not work! Nothing, all of that pain for nothing. They explained to my friend that the procedure did not work for her due to having old equipment, ideal image stated that they had received new equipment since we were both in for our treatment. So now six months later no change to the treatment area and no call or resolution from Ideal Image and my skin is still brown. I will never go there nor would I recommend anyone else to go there. I will be reporting this to the BBB as well. read more

Too worried about getting more customers and they don't care about the ones they have because once you start going your stuck. The hair removal process is suppose to be done at certain times and if you call in one month before your appointment to reschedule for another day that week, you are then pushed out another month and told that their cancellation list is too long so just keep calling back to check on it. The process already takes a year and a half, even though in my consultation I was told a year, but since they can't get you in when your suppose to be it really takes like 2 years. If you want this done when it's suppose to be time wise then this is not the place to go! read more
