I came here one afternoon when in desperate need of some caffeine! The cafe is spacious and cute with plenty of seating inside and outside. I opted to sit on their lovely patio as it was a gorgeous day outside and it's a great place to people watch. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and it was very delicious! It had a great balance of being earthy and sweet and the espresso tasted very fresh and not bitter at all. The service was friendly and accommodating. It was very clean and comfy there and I felt at ease being there. Parking is very easy in the surrounding neighborhood with plenty of free parking.

This is one of my son's favorite morning breakfast spots since we usually stop here to grab him a ham & cheese croissant with a milk before school. Everytime we arrive, we are greeted by the workers who are familiar with my kids and are always super friendly when taking our order. There actually used to be two workers here who knew my boy's orders but have since moved on from the company. The place is small but always nice and clean. It's usually quiet with a few people working on laptops and sometimes you'll find a dog or two enjoying a snack with his owner. The shop has coffees, teas, hot chocolate, lattes, cold brew, macchiatos and lemonade with a variety of pastries such as banana bread, carrot cake, almond, butter, chocolate and ham croissants. I don't usually get a pastry but I order a blossom peach tea mixed with lemonade. Overall, it's a cool little coffee shop that could benefit from having other pastries besides 4 different croissants. I'm not a coffee drinker but it looks like they have the good stuff so I recommend this shop for the ham & cheese croissant and the peach blossom Arnold Palmer. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

Really good coffee! Located right on Ventura Blvd so parking can be tricky depending on time of day. I got their iced latte with lavender syrup - apparently they use real lavender for it. They charge a bit extra for non-dairy milk. It was ready quite quickly and tasted delicious! I really enjoyed. Pretty spacious inside with some seating inside and outside in their patio.

On the way to work, I knew I needed a pick-me-up from matcha. I saw this spot and went to place an order thru Yelp/GrubHub, and the order pickup time scared me at first as it rose up from the initial time. When I came by, there was only one other person in line and the barista went to finishing up my order. She was very friendly despite the morning rush and her working alone. The matcha was okay and wasn't off-putting. I had oat milk with my matcha, although I feel the ratio of matcha to milk was quite low because part of the drink started to feel 'watered-down'. I finished the drink and was able to feel satisfaction from the matcha however! Parking was hard to find in front, so I had to quickly park at the loading area around the corner.

    Hot Chagaccino Latte my fav

    |[ i d e a l ]| Can't believe I haven't reviewed yet! Def one of my fav coffee shops because their chagacinno is perfect. It's sweetened using monk fruit and not sugar but tastes amazing (and no after taste) I purely come for this and seating is a hit and miss because of how limited they are at this location but for a grab and go this is one of my local favs! |[ m e t m y m a t c h a ]| I usually get the original but the matcha version of the chaggacino is also bomb! Iced or hot it just depends on my mood but it gives me the perfect amount of caffeine to cram. I see various coffee shops offering the chaggacino using the same powder but tbh no one makes it like ideology. |[ n o t e s ]| Staff are always kind, they have treats and water for dogs :,) and overall great vibes here. Parking is only 15min in the lot otherwise it's street which can get tricky. But the quality of my drink is what keeps me here. Keep up the amazing work and quality!

Cool space and iced coffee on a hot day. Efficient use of bar/counter seating, and a few patio tables on Ventura Boulevard. They make drinks quickly. The vanilla latte is pretty good...not the most delicate flavor and quite sweet, but not unbearably sweet.

I joined my colleague for an afternoon treat, and Ideology Coffee totally hit the spot. Conveniently located on Ventura Blvd, the staff was super kind and able to explain many of their options. I went with one of their specials, the blue jasmine matcha, and it was delicious. I usually go for coffee, but I wanted to try something new. I also got the chocolate croissant, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The combination together was perfect. I really appreciated that they offer both indoor seating and a beautiful patio, perfect for the current fall weather. Street-metered parking is available.

I had a great experience with both customer service and great coffee. I got berry danish and lavender latte both of which were delicious. Will be coming back :)

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

It was 7:58 a.m., and I stopped in to grab my usual coffee before my appointment next door. I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

Both great and happy kids. Michael took my order and was pretty knowledgeable with the menu. I ordered the Crema Burrito that came with: Tator Tots, Scrambled eggs, Avocado, and Jalapeño. They had 2 of the same Burrito. One with Bacon, and the other one w/out ($15.56). Portion of the Burrito was very small for the price, and was lukewarm. Food overall along with beverages were expensive! I also got a single butter Croissant and asked him to warm it up. The Croissant was nicely warm, flaky, buttery and very good! ($6.23). The Baked Goods case was practically empty. Wanted a Blueberry Muffin, and they were out. Last but not least, got their 16oz. Coconut Cloud Matcha ($9.34). Matcha was made perfectly. I still had to water it down a little. The flavor hit the mark though. Trying to get more familiar with different types of Matchas. The Coffee Shop was clean and very quaint. Also, comfortable seating with round, brown cushions. When you walk in, it's hard to miss the nice motorcycle right in the middle of the shop. I wanted to know what did that represent? Michael said that the owners wife bought that for her husband. Where can I get one? The husband, not the motorcycle.:-) They have no parking, only street and metered. Nice outdoor seating all around. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all.
