I'm not sure the 'stars' would change if we actually ate there this morning. We arrived at 9:45 am with a party of 9 - and we were excited the wait was said to be 15 minutes. Yes, they were pretty full and there were several folks waiting line us. This review will most likely solidify what others are saying about this restaurant. The table turnover time, which an industry standard should be 20 minutes, can EASILY be over an hour to hour and a half. The food is extremely low quality. The staff does need to be trained better. Back to the staffing issue, the last time I had the horrid displeasure of visiting this abomination of a restaurant, my wife and I waited OVER THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES before someone took our order. It was another TWENTY minutes before we got our drinks. We complained at the corporate level and no one returned our call/tweets. When the food was presented to us, it was sloppily prepared, lukewarm at best to the touch, and the bacon was soggy. The prices are also outrageous. I remember when they opened, they were a 24 hour restaurant...but I believe their hours had been cut. We dined here for the first time, and I must say it was an absolute pleasure. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted by Ms. Dallas, and she continued to be our waitress. She was friendly, pleasant, attentive, kind, respectful and much more. It has been a very long time since we have had service so good. First of all, the service was great. That's it. The restaurant was freezing. It wasn't busy but the waiters and waitresses tried to appear as though they were. Our waitress was great. I'm not for sure but I think her name was Janet. Older lady with blonde hair on night shift. The other workers were all young. Our food was cold. Not Luke warm but cold. The hot chocolate wasn't even hot. The hash brown was hard. I like it crispy but there wasn't enough of it to be soft. The eggs were cold and over cooked. The toast was warm. The bacon nice and crisp. Pancakes were too cold to melt butter and we had them to be held so they wouldn't be cold. The waitress tried to make things right but she can only do so much. One of the waitresses had an argument with her boyfriend or husband right in the front lobby. He slammed the door open and left. She went after him in a few minutes and came back and sat down at a table with a fellow worker talking about it very loudly. Our poor waitress was so embarrassed but we knew it wasn't her because the others had shunned her all night. We left her a very very generous tip and left. Terrible service. We were seated immediately, the waitresses walked by us multiple times without even taking a drink order. Tables near us were waiting long times on their food as well according to them. We were able to come in , use the restroom, change the baby, and feed the baby without even giving a drink order. I said hello to two waitresses as well. We packed up and left. Went across the street to Chuys... had a great experience. My husband and I come here to eat while out in town doing some Black Friday shopping. They were fairly busy but the staff was incredibly attentive and professional! Really really bad. The only thing worse may have been a rat in my food. The manager was nice to the guests, but could be heard yelling at the cooks. We arrived at 2pm and it still took almost an hour to get our order. Really, pancakes shouldn't take that long to make. Our server only came to the table to take the order, drop off the food, then to leave our check. I watched as he refused to get my card to pay. I'm not asking the guy to cook our food, but a refill or hey they are backed up today. It's a sad day when IHOP sucks. read more

We like IHOP for the pancakes. But this was a very disappointing visit. We were brought coffee but no spoon for stirring. My grits arrived 10 mins before rest of the order. They were really undercooked and tasted like sand. When our food arrived the bacon was undercooked (who wants to eat cold fat), and ALL our food was cold. The butter never melted on my husband's pancakes. We complained to the waitress who said she'd send the manager over. But she never came. The food is always amazing. Best pancakes ever. Our waitress name was Victoria she a rock star. So if you go to IHOP ask for her.

Every single time I come here, the service is horrible and the wait is forever long. We waited 20 minutes on a table and 30 more minutes on our food. The server told me they didn't have French vanilla coffee.... that I get every time I'm here. I pointed to it on the menu and she acted surprised. Then I ordered the nutella pancake combo and she said there would be an upcharge for nutella. What?? She refused to get a free refill for my boyfriend when the menu said free refills on the drink he ordered. We had to get a menu and point it out to her and she acted mad about it. Went to IHOP with a friend this afternoon. I ordered a heavy meat (can't remember what it was called on the menu) omelet with a side of bacon and coffee. My friend ordered hot chocolate and a glass of milk with his (late) breakfast. He sent his hot chocolate back because the mix wouldn't dissolve in the water. He sent his milk back because it was soured. It smelledbad! Neither of us could eat our bacon - who doesn't love bacon? It was cooked correctly to our liking, but it tasted "bad". But the worst place you could' ever try to eat at-my husband ordered the sirloin tips-tasted funny-I tasted and it was maple syrup, no mention of anything other than mushrooms and onions). My order was supposed to be sirloin steak with blue cheese-it was as thin as a toothpick-over some over cooked smashed red potatoes-I wanted corn to replace broccoli, got it anyway so they said oh we will get u the corn right away-45min after-it was cooked to mush so were they scraping from other plates til they got enough. Came here with my daughter on a Saturday morning. 20 min wait was to be expected. It took over 35 mins to be seated even though there were empty tables and it had cleared out. First off, as a party of one, you usually get treated as if you were in exile but this time they marked off my name without even calling it. Then when I noticed couples coming in we're getting seated faster I said something to them about my place on the call list. They found my name on a different sheet marked off and there were at least 10 other names marked off after mine!!! Them it took close to 10 minutes to even get a server and a glass of water!!!!! This was my first time trying any IHOP. I'm not a fast food fan, and there weren't too many options near the highway. We stopped here and asked for a burger and a chicken crêpe. My crêpe was delicious, the dough was well done (skinny), and everything tasted fresh. It took more time than an average fast food chain, but fresh food prepared right in the moment (and not in the microwave) deserved the time. Is there a 0 star option? I ask this because even one star is too good for this establishment. We tried this place two times and both times were equally horrible. The management is really bad, the servers hardly ever checked on us (at most three times - once to get our orders, deliver food, and then give us the check), and the food took over two hours to get out.
