    Lobster tails and seasoned rice.

My wife has special food needs and this location was exceptionally accommodating. The lobster was delicious. The salmon on a separate visit was also delicious. Be sure to get the cheesecake for dessert!

The food was quick and hot . Great service. The ambiance is the same as usual. If you haven't been you should Their steaks are always good. My husband had the sirloin their signature steak and their mac and cheese wirh asparagus which he liked. I had the small fillet with lobster tail, steamed veggies and sweet potato which was all perfect. We ordered the blooming shrimp appetizer which we did not like. It was very greasy and at $14 a disappointment. We asked the server to take it away and he asked if we wanted it boxed. We said no because we didn't like it as it was too salty and greasy. He took it away but i was surprised he didn't take it off the bill. We only took one bite each . The meal (with waters for drinks) with the appetizer that we didn't eat was $81. So not bad for steaks and lobster. Easy access off the interstate if you're traveling and want to get off the road for a good meal

Mac and cheese loaded with pepper our son hated it.

Stopped here for dinner on the way home from Mammoth Caves. We use to live in the area and it was really good. However on this visit we were disappointed, the hosts (3) chatting at the podium seemed bothered to be interrupted. Our server kept forgetting anything we asked for (ex. A1 instead of ketchup) Both our steaks were overcooked and the rest of the meal was underwhelming. Even my Caesar salad looked old. Next time we will go to Texas Roadhouse.

Food plates just sitting on table not taken out of the way after eating

Pathetic portion sizes for prices paid. Got 8 oz sirloin and grilled shrimp(24.99BTW). Literally got 4 shrimp not jumbo shrimp either or anything . Server essentially ignored us. Literally got one refill on water the entire visit. At least the food given was tasty but everything else was less than tasteful.

Asked twice if take out had utensils. Try eating baby back ribs , wedge salad and baked potatoes without utensils or napkins! Ugh.

Pleasantly Kicked Out of Our Comfort Zone:…read more What a Gorgeous Night to be out & about, with Beau, on the night before the Full Moon, during Derby Week, in Bowling Green. We'd never been here before, thus, we were new to this scene! Even stepping in seemed an experience, following behind two ladies, donned in Derby Hats, & their two dapper gentlemen, who smiled, held open the door, & graciously waved us in!! Then, at a long table we happily joined, our extended, car fanatic family. Thus, the festivities began, as our evening flowed pleasantly.. What We Found : Service: Friendly & Attentive.. Our iced tea was refilled & our tables kept clean. And our server, steered us in the right direction, in recommending the Surf & Turf dinner, which was Delightful.. Ambiance: Lofty & Modern Aesthetic, with Rustic Elements. (But still too modern, for our liking). Nearby, seemed a nicer table: with a wooden tent like canopy, situated near a great hearth.. Food: Generous portions of entrees & sides. The hearty sides, are served family style. We ordered: Bacon Cornbread; Mac & Cheese; Roasted Brussel Sprouts; Roasted Mushrooms; & Truffle Fries. These Tasted Divine... Especially the bacon cornbread, served with a dollop of brown butter, which disappeared in no time!! Whilst our Surf & Turf Dinner, of: Shrimp & Beef, served on skewers, atop a bed of Fried Rice, Kicked Us Out of Our Comfort Zone. This was quite unlike the country cuisine of Bowling Green, for so long known!! And, the horseradish sauce, served alongside, seemed rich & robust!! Indeed, the menu seemed to convey the chef's creative touch!! However, our friend beside us, bemoaned that his elk steak dinner, was mostly burnt!! To the staff, not saying a word!! Moreover, Beau found his Strawberry Shortcake, a tad too dry. But from Beau's pretty dessert, to the Almond Cake, ordered at the table--all seemed a pastry feast for the eyes!! Overall: We Found This Classy Venue, A Welcome Change From The Familiar..Hearty Southern Fare, Fine Tuned With A Touch Of The Exotic!! So Happy To Say: We Loved It !!

We were quickly seated and ordered our drinks while studying the really excellent menu. Instead of rolls, a cast iron skillet containing "Fire Bread" was delivered to our table. It was delicious and was quickly devoured while waiting for our dinners. My wife ordered the Montana fried chicken salad and I opted for the chicken pot pie. While the salad was nothing out of the ordinary (except the chicken was quite good) she thoroughly enjoyed it. My chicken pot pie was really good and it contained lots of large chunks of chicken. Many places that serve this dish think all you have to do is put some pastry puff over the chicken and you have chicken pot pie. NOT! At Montana Grill, this dish was prepared like I would make it at home-a complete crust which does a great job sopping up the chicken and vegetables. The portion was huge and had I not been traveling, I would have taken some home. This dish was also served in a cast iron skillet. Service was excellent and appreciated after driving nearly 9 hours. We waited for nothing. Very happy to have been reintroduced to Montana Grill.

100% would recommend this restaurant!!!!…read more we arrived right at 5pm when they open back up for the day. firstly the atmosphere and customer service is top tier. everyone is super attentive and welcoming. we started off with mixed drinks, with a very wide selection, each drink we tried was perfectly mixed and balanced. we definitely would recommend the french martini and vette city. as for appetizers, we tried the fried pickles and jalapeños. the batter was light but crunchy and flavorful and the house made ranch paired perfectly with them. main courses i would 1000% recommend the chicken rosa. such a delicious dish with a creamy mash potatoes side and perfectly seasoned and sautéed fresh vegetable side. the lemon caper sauce paired with the chicken was stunning. chicken was cooked perfectly and still very juicy. the basil pasta dish was al dente with a rich, herby, and creamy sauce. the crème brûlée was the most delicious dessert to end the meal with a perfectly crunchy sugar top not too charred and the crème part was flavored very nicely with a good vanilla taste. 5/5 WOULD RECOMMEND

We had a hard time deciding between the two, and agreed to split them when they arrived. It's hard to pick a favorite because they were both so good! The combination of flavors on the Fig & Brie was delicious and the egg on the KY Sunrise was divine! You can't go wrong with either of them. We both had sweet potato fries with a side of the smoky aioli for dipping. They were perfectly cooked, which is hard to do. Often sweet potato fries are either burnt or undercooked, but not these! So glad we found this gem on our short stay!

We had been avoiding it like the plague since then, because why would I want to give my money to some jerk off who thinks we're "inbreds" (his words, you can look it up). All that said, we were talking to some friends the other day and they said we should try it again because the seafood selection was fantastic, soooooo we decided to hit it up for our anniversary. We got the oysters, and they were some small guys but out waiter Eli (ask for him) said that they were easy coast even though they typically get west coast. It was nice to have a knowledgeable wait staff that was super friendly and happy to talk through anything with us that we had questions on. We got the steak and sea bass and both were great! Creamed spinach and baked potato as sides were a good call as well. We took some friends with us and one of them got the shrimp and grits, and those grits were LEGIT. Soooooo, if you're looking for a fine dining experience in Bowling Green you could really either do Tony's or Hickory & Oak. In my opinion, Hickory & Oak gets my vote because Josh is one of us and I doubt I'll ever read any articles about him ripping off his employees or calling Kentuckians names, but this experience was so good at Tony's that I might swallow my pride here and there and stop in every once in a while for a delicious steak or some really great bourbon and wine.
