Chloe is the best server! She took such good care of us and was super friendly. We came for brunch on a Sunday. While it was busy, we didn't have to wait long before we were seated. Everything came out quickly and seemed fresh. We ordered two pancake combos, one with blueberry pancakes and the other with the Dubai chocolate pancakes. My kids ordered the jr. cupcakes pancakes with mozzarella sticks (interesting combo, I know) and the happy face pancake with hashbrowns. Everything was tasty, the pancakes were fluffy and sweet. I will say, the Dubai chocolate pancakes did not taste like Dubai chocolate. It just tasted like regular chocolate chip pancakes with extra chocolate sauce on top. The pistachio flavor was lacking, but the pancakes still tasted good. My kids enjoyed their pancakes, but enjoyed the mozzarella sticks more, so we had to order extra for the table! We really appreciated the variety of the kids menu. Nowhere else could my kids order mozzarella sticks with their pancakes. The location was clean and spacious. Lots of parking. The brand doesn't seem to have rebounded from effects of pandemic and high price economy in Colorado. Hope that corporate IHOP has a plan for the future. The ihop menu of a bygone era had a big steak omelette with three pancakes. Who eats three pancakes with a gigantic steak omelette with lots of veg, hash browns and cheese?? Limited substitution options, but the sliced steak only had one large piece of circular gristle. Crepes were excellent for ihop, but not as good as a savory and sweet crepe restaurant in downtown colorado springs. IHOP prices are expensive for the breakfast menu . In my opinion, not the best value in town and IHOP corporate could look into making more menu changes. Hopefully, regulars wouldn't revolt and not fix what's not broken in their eyes and stomachs . Those are corporate issues and not negatives against the staff or service. The hostess/manager sat us right away and asked us what we wanted to drink. We had the cinnamon balls first there were very good, way better than taco bells. I had the steak tips and eggs and they were very tasty with the onions/mushrooms and not over seasoned. While my daughter had the spinach and mushroom omelet with the hollandaise sauce. Kids used to eat free. Now the kids get a menu they can color on and pick the food they want. The price is in very small print. So for a two year old that got a half a waffle, small cup chocolate milk, and four doughnut holes with a cinnamon and sugar dip sauce cost $19.00. For a two year old!!! Our 8 year old got an egg quesadilla with a couple of banana and strawberry slices, small cup chocolate milk, and 4 doughnut holes with the dip sauce, and his was also $19.00!!! That is $38.00 for two kids meals, a two year old and 8 year old. My wife got a stack of pancakes and a pop, I got a Cali chicken sandwich and a coffee. The total bill $78.00 for two adult and two kids meals. We could of went to a much better restaurant and got much better food for less than that!!! After running an ultra 50km on foot down in Palmer Lake, my friend and I decided to grab breakfast before heading our separate ways. We drove around and found an IHOP. My friend and I decided on this IHOP restaurant since it was on the way to Denver International Airport that day. It was cool that they were open on Sundays. We came in around 8:30am with the restaurant half empty. The ambiance was nice and casual, while being quiet so we could have a nice conversation without being too loud from other people. We were seated almost immediately, which was nice. The service was great and friendly. She checked on us about 4 times, with the last two times, giving us the check and returning with the credit card and the sales slip for signature. With that said, the experience took about an hour, give or take. It was nice to have that 24 hr event behind us while we enjoyed a real breakfast at IHOP instead of junk food leftover from the event. I eventually decided to have sirloin steak tips with eggs, which came with pancakes. The eggs were scrambled and the steak tips were cooked rare, which is how I liked it. The restaurant was very clean and very Organized. It was a place to really sit down to eat with a friend and enjoy another win in the marathon finish column. This time it was here in Colorado. While ihop was typically a breakfast place, I generally enjoyed their breakfast especially the pancakes. Definitely Divine when you're thinking about them while doing 50km on foot. My stomach was happy and the company was nice. I picked up the tab this time, and the total came out to be $50 without gratuity. We ended up getting drinks to, with me being an orange juice and she got an iced tea. But an hour after we left my wife realized she had lost an earpiece to her brand new $600 headphones. My kids love the changing themes of food they have here (e.g., decorate your own pancakes, Wonka theme, etc.), which is the primary reason we go to IHOP. Service has been decent and the ambiance is fine. They have a rewards program if you go frequently enough, a happy hour starting at 3PM, and kids can eat free between 4-10PM (i.e., 1 free kids entree per adult entree). We just had the worst experience at this location. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant and waited over an hour as people around us were seated and brought their food. We had two small children with us who we were trying to keep occupied during this. We did not order anything special or unusual. The server continued to tell us our food was coming as we watched the restaurant fill up and people eat and leave all during the time we were waiting for our orders. As we left the manager tried to tell us the server must have forgotten to put our order in. This is not acceptable especially as we were being told differently. She then offered to cover the cost of the meals. There was no meal. She then gave us your card which just called the same person at the restaurant, which was like some type of joke. We left with a screaming hungry baby and toddler and wasted an hour and a half in this restaurant for nothing but having to calm our confused and upset children. Nashville Hot Chicken & waffles Chicken Strips were so hard you could not cut and when you tried the chicken would move all over plate but not cut. Waffle was good but the price for one waffle was $16.49 because you could not taste chicken. I told server and she said "I will tell kitchen" Also we were set by the kitchen door and as people came in out it hit the booth and made you jump.
