I've come to this restaurant twice now and I've found that I always get seated promptly. I always get my order taken quickly and received in an equally quickly manner. My food is hot and it tastes good. The restaurant is clean and the tables are always cleaned as soon as the guests leave. The only negative comment I could say is I heard the kitchen staff arguing with the waitresses about the orders on my first visit. I heard nothing like that on my second visit. I see that the 1 star reviews are all very old. I believe that there must be new management and most definitely new staff. I will definitely visit here again during my stay in Columbus. read more

My family and I have had breakfast here a few times through the years and every time we've stopped in have never had a bad experience. The food is great the service is great, they get you in and out with no problem, especially today and with the COVID crap going on. Our wait time for seating was only 10 minutes or so and after we ordered, our breakfast came out pretty quick. My favorite thing to get for breakfast is their Cinnastack pancakes, it's like eating a huge cinnamon roll, very tasty, maybe not healthy, but who cares...gotta splurge once in awhile! So not sure why some of the ratings on here for this restaurant, but as for me, just keep doing what you're doing iHop, no complaints here! P.S. March 2021 - The Colorado Omelette was very good. See pic below. This is a place we go to regularly but this time we had poor service. When the food arrived warm we needed condiments ahead of time. Our server was completely clueless. I had to go get silverware and napkins myself. We had pepper, no salt. Don't just throw down a bowl full of condiments, have a clue as to what you are delivering. We both needed sugar substitutes and shouldn't have had to search for them. Each cup of coffee will require 2 to 3 packets per person. iHOP is one of my favorite restaurants and I will continue to go there. read more

Well, it's IHOP, you should know what you are getting from the start. I expect just a standard, no frills breakfast. However, I went the other day, traveling for the holiday and ordered the Spicy Poblano Omelet which I have never seen before. Again, not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised at what I received. The omelet is supposed to be stuffed with fire roasted Poblano peppers, red bell peppers & onions, shredded beef, Jack & Cheddar cheese blend, fresh avocado, Poblano cream & chopped Serrano peppers. Did I get that? No, not really there wasnt a poblano to be found in the entire dish. There was just some diced red pepper and onion, but they did make up for it by sprinkling fresh jalapeno liberally across the top. Unexpected and pretty amazing, I never would have expected to see a fresh jalapeno make an appearance at an IHOP! Other than that, a typical COVID situation where they were understaffed but doing their best. A good place to stop while traveling. read more

I cannot compliment the corporate management for the lean staffing but those who were scheduled to work performed well. The location also has way too many seats for the little traffic they get! Utilization is usually pretty abysmal which makes me worry about how fresh the food is. Foodwise, its a standard IHOP, I won't waste your time! Venturing off the breakfast menu is usually risky. For a safe bet, the omelets are huge! As a former Dine Equity shareholder I try and support IHOP & Applebees franchises. Sadly their same store sales both gone south, the CEO got booted and the CFO just quit today! Seems like many IHOPS get a bad rap, but I've yet to have a bad experience the few times I've been to them. This place was no exception. Yes, you have to put your name on the list and wait just like many places. Nobody likes doing that, but not much you can do about busy crowds. The wait wasn't all that long, probably twenty mins on a Sunday at about 11:00 am. I had ordered a classic breakfast plate with cinnamon pancakes on the side. Didn't seem like we had to wait long at all and waitress was on top of her game. Even refilled my drink without me asking. I'd go back for sure. read more

Hadn't't been in an iHop in quite a while but there was one in the area so I decided to stop in. Ordered the Breakfast sampler. Service was good but that's where it ended. The food arrived but was not warm. The bacon was dried up and not edible. The sausage was tasteless. The ham was ok but was not hot. It is easy to see why so many restaurants fail and it will be disappointing to watch this once successful restaurant chain fall by the wayside. I'm actually upset aboutt this one. My boyfriend and I were craving a late night meal. We automatically think of IHOP so we order online for pick up. I pick it upp and everyone is nice, and all is good. No problem. I get home and we sort the food out and wow. They completely messed up the order and have the wrong items on some parts. Oh well right, I go on with eating and I notice something odd about the eggs. Its completely RAW. The white of some of the egg is completely clear. I'm truly disappointed. Yeah I ordered sunny side up but I wAsnt expecting the egg white to be all raw. Maybe they were uPset we ordered so late. Not to mention the everything was ice cold when we got home 5 mins later. Not even a good IHOP. Yesterday there was a line here and I didn't have time, so today I thought it might be a better bet. Not so much. The coffee wasn't very hot, even after I asked for a fresh pot. The French Toast was luke warm. The English muffin didn't come out with the food and when it did come out, it was barely toasted. By the time that was sorted, the eggs were room temperature. The waitress was nice enough but not terribly efficient and certainly not the kind of person who goes the extra mile to save a meal from going south. Do NOT go here. We as we stood waiting for a table all I could hear was what I assume was a manager yelling at the cooks. I ordered a chicken fajita omelet & my wife ordered the breakfast sampler. It literally took an hour to get our food. Her ham was so fatty she could not eat it. My omelet was disgusting. The egg actually tasted burnt. The chicken was hard and impossible to chew. Once there, drink orders were take and then delivered a bit later. Our order was taken and then food was delivered. After things got going, timing was not too bad, but it was a slow start. One individual in our group ordered an omelet. He complained that the eggs were dry and seemed like the inlet had been sitting out for quite a while. My French toast was ok. If in the mood for breakfast types of food, this location might work. Just be aware that service may be slow to start and perhaps steer clear of overcooked omelets. read more

Sunday 1pm 2/14/16 We(myself, my mom, my wife, & 2 sons) came out for a late brunch on Valentine's day. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, no biggie. What WAS a big deal was the fact, we ordered & had to wait an HOUR to get our food. The restaurant was half empty also, not remotely slammed. I've been here before, when they were much busier, & never waited this long. I had a bacon & cheese omelet, hashbrowns & blueberry pancakes. Everything was fine, the omelet was particularly tasty. My mother had an omelet also & enjoyed it. My wife had a short stack with peaches & raspberries on it, which she loved. Kiddos had chicken stix & fries, & no complaints.
